The Twenty-third Saying (Part 6)

“‘There is a saying from the ancients that knowledge of God comes each day at sunrise, which, if you think about it, is true. We like to believe that God is everywhere, and that God shines through matter, and that the Sun of Righteousness is everywhere, even in the night, which is true. That is a beautiful, wonderful thought. But when the sun comes up each day, and we take its energy, and Light, and Goodness into our beings, those elements are reaching us from another dimension – coming into us from a place outside of this world and actually recreating us, nurturing us, giving us strength, giving us power, and giving us the nourishment we need to understand and know God. Without that Sun, we have no way of ascending to God – no access, no way of hearing, no way of seeing His Presence. That Sun, in a divine sense, is the Face of God. And that is what the Essenes and, of course, Jesus taught. Thus, the knowledge of this religion comes each sunrise. The ancients gave thanks to the Sun at sunset, thanks to God for having walked with them during the day, and prayed that God would send that Sun to them at sunrise. That was a beautiful thought.

“‘The only way God can accomplish Good in the world is by reaching out to what He created – Man’s spirit and his Soul. That is God’s Property, not the body and not this world. God reaches out to the spirits of humankind to call them; and when we look at the Sun, we receive His Goodness, which is His Word, within our beings. And then our spirit begins to live within us, which means that we then become the only-begotten Sons and Daughters of God, just as the Sun of Righteousness is created in His Image. And this is an entirely different concept in religion: a living religion. God lives each day. God is outside of the power of the old priests and ministries and becomes available to all people equally; but they must live The Way in order to receive His Benefit and Bounty.

“‘In acknowledging the manifestation of the Sun of Righteousness, we, as a Church, make a New Covenant with God. Whereas the Jews made a covenant with their god and consented to follow the rites and ritual laid down by Moses, we make a New Covenant with God, acknowledging the existence of His Image and Word as revealed to us by His Messenger, The Child. We receive the Image and the Word into our beings. We open ourselves up to Him and we allow a rebirth to take place.’”

Today’s message is short, as we are in last-minute preparations for next week’s Community Convocation and Seminar on Color and Sacred Imagery. The Twenty-third Saying (Part 5)

“‘God as the True Creator of the spirit is the Creator of the world in its original state – the world in the fifth dimension. However, a counter-force, which is the Powers of Darkness – a kind of an anti-God – also existed. And just as Christ was born, there was an anti-Christ – a Judas, a High Priest, or a Roman Procurator – that controlled the minds of men and women to make them kill the Messenger of God. Thus, Man is confronted with anti-God – the Powers of Darkness that destroy – and the fourth and third dimensions which are sustained by God yet are outside of God without the means of reaching God. This is the great problem.

“‘For example, in our political and social structures, we wish to survive as peoples and as a nations. In the time of a national crisis or a war, we often put away high religion in order to survive. And that is a human need. But how does a person, or a people, or a nation put away these purely physical and human needs to survive and still become spiritual, as demonstrated by Jesus, the Apostles, and the first Christians who preferred death to bondage? It is very difficult and takes the whole of a lifetime of discipline.

“‘The world needs to turn to the True Religion, which can only come to humankind by revelation. The world needs to have an understanding of the Way to God, which is living The Way, as Jesus taught. Living The Way is more valuable than the vocal expression, “I believe in God,” which means nothing. What God? Where is God? How do I attain God? Christians express a worship of God by going to church, by participating in the sacraments, or by reading the Bible. That is what they feel is the Word of God and the Way to God, which, of course, it is not.

“‘The Way to God is to receive the Power of God, meaning His Image and Word, within one’s own being in order to be transformed or reborn, and then to live on that energy – on that Light and Goodness – to become like God. It is impossible to do this as an individual living in society. An individual can do nothing of lasting value in this world to express oneself for the good of the human family. There is nothing wrong with a person doing good in the world; it is just that individuals are limited in what they can accomplish because the goodness that they have leaves the world when they die.

“‘Therefore, it is important to have The Way to God. Once individuals live The Way, they are able to receive the Image and the Word and collect together with other people, resulting in more good that can be done in the world. As individuals, the good that we do is small. It is enhanced by fellowship. The same holds true when we attempt to alter the face of the sun and its influence over the world by looking at it. If the entire human race were to look at the sun, over a period of time we could change our environment. The Way to God is all important for it teaches us how to become like God, or be recreated in the Image of God, by allowing the Image and the Word to change us. We cannot be changed by our words or thoughts or desires but only by actually allowing God to enter our beings and give us new life and maintain it. That is the goal of this Church.'”

The Twenty-third Saying (Part 4)

And The Man continued his discourse addressing the Companions of The Way.

“‘Let me demonstrate this point: If a religious person becomes ill, or suffers pain from an incurable disease, that person’s whole existence is dominated by that suffering and pain. What I am trying to say is that the physical or material being within the environment is the sole means of reality. If the world were to suddenly be plunged into great cold or great heat by the lack of or increase of heat from the sun, the body would cry out for warmth or coolness. Everything else would be blotted out of that being’s awareness. Man is a product of the environment.

“‘Although the world has many churches, temples and synagogues for the worship of God, or of a god, any great world calamity, such as a deluge or some other catastrophe, would cause people to flee holy places because they are consumed with a great desire to live. The physical environment dominates humans. They have nothing else to measure reality by except the physical environment experienced by means of the physical senses.

“‘The same thing takes place on the mental and psychic levels. We are also victims of our environment on those levels. We respond to the Powers of Darkness to an enormous degree. Most people do not realize how strong Evil is. It is very strong. In our own ignorance and innocence, we believe we can overcome Evil and Darkness which, by ourselves, we cannot. It can only be done with the help of God. But how do we find God? Only by living The Way.

“‘The physical world is, beyond any shadow of a doubt, dominated and controlled by the radiations of the sun. The psychic world – the world of the fourth dimension, which is beyond our own visible dimension – is dictated to by the tremendous Powers of Darkness. And these Powers unquestionably exist. There is God, the True Maker of the original Creation, and there is the world of the third dimension that evolved out of the lesser world of the fourth dimension. And we are the product of a maker who is not the True God.

“‘Christian and Jewish scriptures state that God created the world. Thus people believe God is a person or being who created this physical world with all of its pain and suffering. In olden days, in the Hebrew as in most of the early religions of the past, animals were sacrificed to this god. Today, we have a Christian religion that says beautiful things but does not practice them, for the most part. Christians have been the cause of extinction of many peoples, many races. They have been the cause of many wars. They do not practice what they preach. And the reason is that people are like the god they worship, which is a blood-thirsty, vengeful god.

“‘If you read the Old Testament, you will find yourself a stranger from the god depicted therein. That is not a god of reason, an illuminated or enlightened being. However, people cling to this version of God because they have nothing better. And large numbers of people in the world, especially those of the Buddhist, Brahmin or Hindu worlds, do not have much respect for the Christian religion because of that fact. But Christians and Jews cling to that god because they do not know any different.'”
