Rev. Rebecca Willis Appointed Prioress

The Reverend Canon Rebecca E. Willis was appointed Prioress of the Steamboat Springs Priory on February 19, 2011 by the Right Reverend Gene Savoy Jr. This act was committed with the consent of her predecessor, the Reverend Canon Gary Buchanan.

The letter of appointment reads:

“Together, we will work towards setting a new direction at Steamboat to bring clarity and purpose to your role, as well as to all those who reside at the Priory. The primary purpose of you office is to bring unity, community and harmony within that branch of the Order of the Holy Child which you represent.

Your appointment has an initial term of three years, after which we will assess and determine extension, modification or reassignment. May God and the Angels of Light continue their blessings over you as you continue your important work in the Second Advent.
