Dr. Gary Robert Buchanan spoke at the 2012 Cosolargy Conference on “Sonatherapy and Cosolargy: The Future of Healing.” His presentation addressed the purpose of Cosolargy and the relation of Cosolargy to ancient Vedic and Buddhist teachings, emphasizing the image of the Heart in these ancient teachings. The presentation also described the important concept of enantiodromia, as discussed by Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, and recently by Manfred Clynes, who defined the process as “sentic response” in reference to the lower force centers.

Dr. Buchanan’s talk primarily discussed present research into the physical and psychological applications of the revolutionary new healing modality known as “Sonatherapy,” or Wave Front BIOresonance, which combines light, color, sound, water and subtle energies, to assist healing of the body, mind, and psyche, and the future of Sonatherapy and other spiritually based healing therapies.

Biographical Note:
Dr. Buchanan is a composer, orchestra conductor, educator, theologian, therapist, and the Director of Wave Front BIOresonance Research at Steamboat Hot Springs Healing Center in Reno. He is the author of the 2008 landmark publication SONA: Healing with Wave Front BIOresonance, which is now being used worldwide in alternative healing clinics as a Sonatherapy training text. With degrees and certificates from institutions where he has both studied and taught around the world, Dr. Buchanan has been with Cosolargy International since 1975, serving on the faculties of the Jamilian University and the Jamilian Parochial School. He is also Vice President of the Andean Explorers Foundation, Founding Conductor of the Foundation Orchestra, editor, sound engineer, and researcher in vibrational healing.

Solar Cultures of Ancient Japan

The work of PROJECT “X” is to search for knowledge of the ancient Orders who practiced a similar System of Spiritual Regeneration at varied places throughout time – knowledge that is the divine birthright of every living person. THE SEARCH FOR THE SECRETS OF ANCIENT JAPAN was one in a unique series of PROJECT “X” travel programs designed for travelers who want to follow in the path of those mystics who introduced the world to knowledge of the immortal soul and the Spiritual Sun by teaching the Way of Light. The 2011 research travel program to Japan focused on the solar cultures of ancient Japan on the islands of Kyushu and the south of Honshu.

In this report, follow the thirteen-day trip day by day and immerse yourself in the mystic heritage of a land where the past seems to blend seamlessly with the present. Come to know the ancient Mystery Schools as you visit shrines and temples vicariously through the experiences of Project X members who took part in the tour. Attune with the natural beauty of sacred precincts grown out of millennia of spiritual teachings in locales where the people have long communed with the sun and knew The Way.

Archeological evidence places the first human settlement on the islands of Japan around approximately 10,000 BCE, but little is known for sure about human activity in the area before the sixth century CE. One of the purposes of the Project “X” tour was to investigate this past in order to present on-site information on these early times, including the little-known influences of the “Luminous Teaching” and teachers of the early Church of the East (called Keikyo in Japan).

THE JAPAN PROPHECY

“After Heaven’s Gate is open, and all the islands of Japan are connected, a Golden God will appear in the years of the Ox and the Tiger and be seated on the Throne.” These cryptic words foretell a spiritual event currently in the making, one in which the islands of Japan play a vital role.

Literally meaning “of the sun’s origin,” Nippon or Nihon has an ancient and mystical solar culture legacy, one which we will learn more of during the upcoming Solar Mysteries of Ancient Japan lecture tour. We will share the rich histories and secrets of the Shinto priesthood, solar Buddhism, and the little-known legacy of what has been called Nestorian Christianity – a remnant of the True Church that made its way from Syria, Persia, and India to China in the fifth century C.E. and then to Japan a century later under the esoteric spiritual master Kukai, also known as Kobo-daishi. The sacred shrines, temples, and other sites to be visited will shed light on the mysterious Luminous and Illustrious Religion and reveal the hidden meaning of Japan as a spiritual nation.

It was the purpose of the 2011 trip to Japan (May 9 – May 21, 2011) to gather further evidence of this ancient solar culture and share our research.

Japan Trip

This is important work. The period of the Calling Out has begun, and our universal religion not only encompasses Christianity but now also Buddhism. This transformation has been prophesied. It is recorded in our books and is based upon the cycles and times.

The Importance of Interfaith Work

I had the great pleasure of meeting Senator Harry Reid a few weeks ago and, in conjunction with his staff, the Nevada Clergy Association will be assisting him in organizing a Summit of Religious Leaders in Northern Nevada to address the importance of faith communities and the role of clergy in the area. Now, this may not mean much to us as Cosolargists, but our Prophecies tell us that we must go out into the world and that our Teaching and the New Religion will someday influence nations and governments, as well as institutions of science and higher learning. How this will come about, God only knows. It may not even be in our lifetimes, but we have made great strides in the last many years from the days of our persecution.

The sunset service we held last month at the Sanctuary was a milestone in our history, as it brought members of different religions to the Sanctuary. We know that some people will be touched and that they will feel the heightened energy and the spiritual Presence. The symbolic act of the unification of the religions was realized at that sunset service.

Meeting with Swami Sri Atmananda

Those who attended the interfaith sunset service on September 11 will remember the gentleman who read from the Bhagadvad Gita. He was asked to participate in the service at the behest of our friend Rajan Zed, a member of the interfaith community who could not be there that afternoon. This individual came twice more to the Sanctuary to participate in Divine Service.

This man, David Mitchell, who is also known as Devashish – his Hindu name – had an experience and felt a great energy at the Sanctuary. David has a spiritual teacher in India, and he contacted him. And this teacher, Swami Sri Atmananda, will be visiting us tomorrow at our sunrise service. We met with Swami Sri a couple of days ago here in my chambers and discussed various concepts that we are all familiar with: Christ Consciousness, the Sun of Righteousness, the importance of these times, the significance of cycles and signs, the years 1962 and 2012, the doctrine of the pre-Ordained, and many other things. Incredibly, there was nothing between us to disagree about.

Tomorrow morning at our Sunrise Divine Service, I ask you to receive this man as a spiritual dignitary who comes to our country from India representing the Brahmin religion. We will see where it will lead and what will transpire. We will be having further meetings with Swami Sri after our return from Japan to see how we may collaborate.

When we formed the Nevada Clergy Association twenty-five years ago, the concept of a truly cohesive interfaith community was only a dream. However, over the years we have participated in various functions and events and committees, and as various other clergy came and went, we remained. Our involvement was heightened about ten years ago, and especially over the past five years, when we have had the good fortune to lead the movement. Who would have thought that the we, “the cult,” would someday be the driving force behind a unifying interfaith movement. I am sure you all realize the importance of this work. It not only brings people together, which we emphasize in our Community, and serves as a valuable public relations tool in the local community, but more importantly it serves as an avenue by which people may become familiar with our Teaching.

During the next two weeks, we will be hosted by our members in Japan. We will be visiting Tokyo, Kyoto (the old capital), Fukuoka, and Kurume, as well as important shrines and temples, including the oldest shrine in the country and the headquarters of Shintoism, Heitate. We will also be visiting the sacred mountain Mount Koya-san, where Kobo-daishi, an ancient solar Buddhist, became enlightened and where there is also a replica of the Nestorian Monument. We will visit the offices and shrine of the Cosolargy Institute of Japan, and we will be looking at property on which our mission in Japan hopes to build.
