“Will the Sun Lash Out at Us?”

I write a lot about the benefits of the Sun, and feel just a twinge of sadness as I must also acknowledge that, just like the reputation of the Hindu deity Shiva, our star may be thought of as both Creator and Destroyer. It has lashed out at our planet in the past by way of solar flares causing geomagnetic storms, and some believe we are due for another massive one.

Recently I have exchanged emails with Dr Jamal Shrair and acquired a copy of his book, Helical Universe. Dr Shrair has told me, “As I have indicated many times before, the Sun is now located in high energy region and approaching the most dense one, therefore, the chance for massive solar flare is almost certain and it is going to be a devastating one.” He later added, “A destructive solar flare is certain, and it will hit in the near future.” To clarify what he means by the near future, he posted elsewhere that it will happen “for sure if not this year then next year.”

“Body as a Tool of Mind and Soul”

“The body is but the machine used by the mind. If it be weak, the power of our thought may be largely used and almost useless in resisting its weakness. The mind is then the workman endeavoring to carry out his design with an imperfect tool. Eventually, this defective tool may derange and destroy entirely the workman’s power.

“Strength of mind and body is the cornerstone of all enjoyment and success. The weak body enjoys little or nothing. Our bodies are reservoirs of force. … What is most desirable for all to know is, how to retain the most of that force during our waking hours and if possible to increase it; because this force has a commercial value in dollars and cents. The weak and exhausted body is neither the body for ‘business’ or pleasure, and all business is best done when it is a pleasure to do it.” ~Prentice Mulford

The Body as a Tool

Yes, we can think of the body as a tool for the mind. It might be more accurate, however, to think of the body and mind more like partners who need to work together. Mulford notes that a mind cannot do its job very well with a weak or sick body. It is also true that the body can’t accomplish much with a damaged or weak mind.

But it doesn’t stop there. While Mulford may only be interested in the body and mind, there is also the spirit and soul to be considered. The spirit and soul certainly don’t need the physical body to function. They may use it, however, to help with certain things that they wish to do.

It is not true, however, that the body can exist without a spirit. It can exist without a soul, or at least without the divine soul which is the soul most people mean when they talk about the soul. We also have a mundane soul that is linked to the body. The divine soul, however, is very loosely connected to the body and will leave if the body and mind commit serious acts of violence such as murder.

So in short, we are complex beings and we function best when all the parts work together in peace and harmony. Body, mind, psyche, spirit, and soul all need to be friends and partners. When they are not, or one part is too weak or damaged to properly function, the whole being suffers.

“Viewing & Absorbing the Sun”

As I write this, we have just crossed the September Equinox and a number of people I know have posted about it on social media, with comments such as it being an opportune time to receive healing energies from the Sun.

I’ve just returned from the annual Cosolargy convocation in Reno, Nevada USA, where the Sun featured prominently in our discussions and activities. Over several consecutive mornings I joined large gatherings of members at elevated sacred places in the high desert country to partake in respectful ceremonies, as we viewed the rising of the Sun. It manifested itself slightly differently to us on each occasion and, even when a smoky haze drifted in from fires in a neighbouring state one morning, the large orange solar orb did not fail to impress us with its majesty.

“Light Mind that Awakens the Soul”

“Now you understand that the powers of light are good and the beginning and the end are unveiled to them. Whatever they do is with good judgment. For this reason they allow the enmity.”

“The light mind comes and finds the soul and assumes it into wisdom. He will become for it . . . the bonds and members of the body. He will loosen the mind of the soul and release it from the bone. He will release the thought of the soul from sinew and bind the thought of sinew in sinew. He will release insight of the soul from the vein and bind insight of sin in the vein. He will loosen the counsel of the soul and release it from the flesh and so bind the counsel of sin in the flesh.”

“And the new man reigns by love, by faith, by perfection, by patience, and by wisdom. Yet his king is the light mind, who is king of all. He reigns over it as he wishes. The members’ sin is imprisoned, yet the light mind is king, and an affection often rises in the body.” ~The Kephalaia

Powers of Light

The phrase “powers of light” can be interpreted in two ways. It can refer to powerful beings of light who exist in higher realms of spirit and consciousness. It can also refer to the powers of light itself, both physical and spiritual.

In both cases, the powers of light are good. The beginning, the end, and everything in between is revealed to them. It is not a matter of time, although they do exist outside the limitations of time. It is that they know truth and wisdom. They know that spirit came before matter. They know that matter is a mistake. God didn’t create the realm of matter. It was created by the Demiurge, or the fallen angels.

Light Mind Comes

The light mind is not the ordinary mind that is linked with, though not the same as, the brain. The light mind is the spiritual mind that operates through the soul, not the body. The Kephalaia says it “finds the soul and assumes it into wisdom”. That is an interesting way to put it. What the spiritual light does is awaken the soul. We hear many people refer to a spiritual awakening these days, but few know what it really means. Many think that simply becoming aware that there is more than just the material world means they have awakened. That is an important first step, but it isn’t true awakening. Only when the soul is awakened by spiritual light, what is called in the quote the Light Mind, is one truly awakened.

“Discovering the Electric Sun – Part 1″

Is this eruption of the Sun due exclusively to a power source at the Sun’s core? Or is the Sun responding to a vastly larger electrical environment? Credit: SOHO (ESA & NASA).

In the twentieth century, pioneers of plasma cosmology began to identify the crucial role of electric currents in interstellar and intergalactic space.

The “electric universe” hypothesis extends plasma cosmology into domains that were, at best, only partially touched by its pioneers. This paper will present a brief summary of the “electric Sun,” a core theme of the electric universe. Additionally, we will offer pointers to the recent interdisciplinary contributions of others toward a new understanding of electricity in space.

“Sunlight: Renewing Our Relationship with Old Sol”

The darkest hour is always just before the dawn and sometimes we wallow in the gloom of our slumbering state, only to be jolted back into life when struck by the Light. In my case it was after a long run of misfortune, a time when the light of day seemed barely perceptible, when I staggered out of my tunnel of despair and into the Sun. To some people who know me it seems odd that a pale skinned indoor type like myself could come to form such a strong bond with the Sun, but when that solar orb reaches out to you from the sky and grabs you, embraces and enchants you, then you know your life has just taken a quantum leap and there’s no going back.

It’s strange how so many people these days have come to be afraid of the Sun. Only two generations ago, our beaches in the summertime were jam-packed with Sun-worshippers, all competing for the best tan. Now the warnings from authorities have scared the heck out of the general population, to the point where we have a generation deficient in vitamin D. What ever happened to ‘all things in moderation?’ The Earth, like all the other planets in our solar system, was formed out of the Sun and we owe our very life to its warmth and light. The expression Mother Earth is often used and I like to also use the concept of our Father Sun. They really are our parents, astronomically speaking.

My initial attraction to our star came in the form of a new appreciation for brightness after a long period of emotional and mental darkness. Yet it was something more than just a metaphor. It felt like a long overdue return home. My interest was really piqued when meeting up with an old childhood friend who, I discovered, was practicing what is known as Sun gazing. The only time I had heard about this before was in reference to the ancient Egyptians, but he quickly armed me with videos and links to You Tube that demonstrated the modern-day resurgence of the practice.

Quantification

It is the general agreement between theory and observation that provides the foundation for quantification. Specialized inquiry can then test the rigor and precision of the qualitative argument with equations and numbers. In a successful test, the quantitative results will correlate well with predictions arising from the underlying theoretical assumptions; they will add logical strength and precision to the prior qualitative argument.

The concrete relationship of quantification to underlying fact has borne fruits in plasma physics, where qualitative extrapolations from laboratory findings have repeatedly anticipated observations in space and supported practical mathematical modeling.

In the case of the Sun, however, neither a qualitative nor a quantitative argument exists, since the dominant attributes of the Sun, now revealed to us in stunning detail, lie beyond the predictive ability of the theoretical assumptions. This sweeping failure of predictive ability removes the rationale for the more specialized assumptions, equations, and simulations offered in the name of solar physics today. The only way to overcome this spectacular deficiency would be to demonstrate a logical pathway of quantified analysis leading from the theoretical starting point to the major attributes of the Sun. After decades of trying, the promise of a quantified model was never fulfilled, not even in a limited sense. No direct line of reasoning from the assumed nuclear furnace to even one enigmatic attribute of the Sun can be substantiated. And so the specialized debates go on and on, guided by the dogmatic certainty that an acceptable answer must be available. After 60 years and billions of dollars spent exploring the Sun, no peer-reviewed article has yet questioned the fusion model.

“Meeting Our Global Energy Needs”

In the absence of successful tests of a hypothesis it is a grave mistake to pretend that issues are settled. Nevertheless, with the support of popular media, a guess about the “nuclear core” of the Sun led to a leap of faith. Limitless energy should be available to humanity by controlling a fusion process—”just like the controlled fusion in the center of the sun.”

The cost of this exuberance may never be accurately calculated. Globally, governments poured billions upon billions of dollars into research, seeking to replicate the imagined events hidden inside the Sun. From the 1950s onward it was an easy sell. But the only fusion the experiments provoked lasted a second or so— typically much less than a second—and never produced as much energy as was pumped into the experiments. In physics, that’s the definition of an unworkable idea—and it’s very likely the most expensive failure of theory the world has ever witnessed. [16]

“Spiritual Dimensions of Beauty and Happiness”

“Please have mercy on us, generous ruler. The messenger of the father heals souls, draws joy in all of us, and carries away sorrow. Lofty and limitless, where darkness never comes, all the monasteries and the dwelling places are great in beauty, for they are happy in the light and know no pain. Those who enter remain forever. No blow or torture ever reaches them. The clothing they wear no one made by hand. They shine with light, and no ants crawl in them. The green wreathes on their heads never lose color. Their bodies are unfamiliar with dead weight and don’t droop. Their limbs are not paralyzed. Heavy sleep never overtakes their souls, and deceptive dreams and delusions are unknown among them. In that land hunger and anguish are not known. There is no thirst. The waters of all its lakes give out a wondrous fragrance everywhere. No one knows floods and drowning. Their walk is quicker by far than lightning. In their bodies there is no sickness. The actions of all the dark powers leave them completely alone. Fear and horror do not live in those lands, nor does destruction. The trees don’t shake down their fruit. Decay is foreign to their fruit. Within and outdoors it is replete with brilliance, the gardens aromatic and no stray bricks or thorns. Those who ascend to those precincts and have knowledge will extol his manifestation.” ~Parthian Songs

Heals Souls

While it is not an unreasonable thing to say that the messenger of God heals souls, I think it is more accurate to say that he awakens souls. That is to say, he helps us awaken our own souls when we are ready to do so. If we are not ready, to try teaching us how would be a pointless waste of time.

The soul cannot be injured. It cannot be diseased. But it can be dormant and is when we are born into the material world. Why is uncertain, but probably because being sent spiraling down into matter is a traumatic experience. The soul is protected from too much trauma by being in a dormant state, similar to a coma when we fall to Earth.

Joy and Sorrow

The messenger does bring us joy and alleviate sorrow. Those are things of the mind, however, not the soul. By giving us hope, hope in a future world, our sorrow is relieved. By letting us glimpse the truth of the afterlife, we are given joy. Those glimpses often reach only the subconscious mind, yet that is enough to have an effect.

“Portal of the Sky Opens to the Spiritual”

“Ferry Me to the Sun Take me, firstborn. The path of light spreads before me from my own first city. I look for someone. The dissolving image of the savior comes to me. O first one, the light of the virgin touches me, the brightest picture of truth with her three angels who give grace. Firstborn, the portals of the sky fly open before me in the rays of my savior and his portrait of light. I left my garment on the earth. Senile diseases were mine. I dress in the deathless robe. Ferry me to the sun and the moon. Ferry of light at peace over three earths. Firstborn, I am a holy bride in her chamber of light, resting. I keep my victory gift. …

“O soul, sleeping. You who sleep, you who doze, wake. Sun rises on you. … The good man has come Jewel garland, you. Wandering sheep, your shepherd seeks you. Noble and despised, your king wants you. Where are your angelic cloths, robes that don’t age? Where are your cheerful wreathes and crowns that don’t fall? The clay mold of your kin, your father’s seal? When you were saved, your first jewel, your mind was collected, familiar, unfailing to you. How many of your blood has the world . . . for you? The humble you have loved and the great you have humbled. You were not yet ashamed. ” ~The Manichaean Song Book

Take Me to The Sun

Why would the singer ask Christ to carry him to the sun? Is he planning to fly in a spaceship? Is he trying to get burned up by the heat of the sun? No, that’s not what he wants. He wants the Christ Force within him to link him to the spiritual sun, not the physical one. It is the spiritual sun that awakens the dormant spirit and soul. The spiritual sun links the physical realm to the spiritual.

The path of light does spread before you when you turn to the spiritual sun. Part of what that sun does is show you the path. The one true path for a real spiritual awakening. There are many detours, many winding roads that can be followed forever, but only one direct path to the Light.

“Plasma forms electromagnetic structures in galaxies”

According to a recent press release, the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory research team found that gamma ray bursts (GRB) “…contained time-reversed light signatures…They all have this signature of brightness that fluctuates and then it turns around and goes backwards in time,” said Jon Hakkila, an astrophysicist and associate dean of the Graduate School at the College of Charleston in South Carolina.

The consensus opinions among astrophysicists who study these phenomena is that they appear in one of two circumstances. Either a supermassive black hole (SMBH) pulls material into the SMBH, where it is accelerated by an intense gravity field; or, two neutron stars collide, which increases the gravitational force to such an extent that it collapses into a black hole. The extreme velocity supposedly heats up particles as they approach the speed of light. It is that excitation that is said to create X-rays and gamma-rays.

On the other hand, an electromagnetic z-pinch can squeeze plasma with such force that it rapidly compresses. Electric current flowing into the z-pinch might cause the plasma to erupt in an arc-mode discharge. We are seeing plasma structures when we look at nebulae, as well as the “remnants” of supernovae, and they behave according to the laws of electric discharges and circuits.
