Before Creation only God Existed

“About the days of Nun, we have no knowledge. Before creation commenced there was the One Father/Mother Being and from this Divinity came the heavenly Twins. From these were born three, and the three became many. Thus, even in the beginning it was divinely ordained that brother and sister might be wed. From the first Heavenly Twins were born those whose destiny it was to be eternally married. For theirs was the divine right of eternal and undying love, a love unknown to mortals, but to which, if they would be more than mortal, they must aspire. This love is the Light of Life, the Light of the Earth, the Sun of the Spirit.

“The Originating Divinity is called many names among men, and in Egypt His names are hidden in other names. Among the Chosen Ones, He is called The Craftsman Creator, but men and women name Him differently among the people. Likewise, some say ‘Him’ while others say ‘Her;’ it is all alike, for these are no more than the words and distinctions of mortal man. Heaven is the sphere of God, the true abode of His Spirit in essence. There is the Heaven above, which is the High Heaven, and the Heaven below, which is the reflection of the High Heaven. The true Center of God is in Newit.”

-The Kolbrin Bible (MAN:33:7-8)

Before Creation

Before creation, God was the only thing that existed. God has always existed, and always will. The quote refers to God as “Father/Mother”, which is accurate. God is unlimited, so to think of God as being only male or only female is putting limits on God.

Heavenly Hierarchy

The quote says that from the one God came the heavenly twins. From the twins came three, then five, then ten, and so on. This established a Heavenly hierarchy of Light Beings. These Light Beings, or angels, were 100% spirit. It was only later that some descended into matter, becoming the fallen angels. While the quote says it was ordained “brother and sister might be wed,” this doesn’t mean literally that one should marry their brother or sister. It means that a male should marry a female. That, however, is not necessarily God’s Law, but it is the law of the people who wrote this section of the Kolbrin Bible.

Eternal Love

Eternal Love is not only the divine right of the Heavenly Twins, it is also the divine right of all of us. God’s love for us is eternal, and our love for God should be eternal and unlimited also. When we develop that kind of love, we will also love all people, regardless of their race or creed. We will love all beings, including animals and plants. We will love all of creation, even the distorted part created by the Demiurge, for it too is one with God, and will eventually return to that condition.

Light of Life, Sun of the Spirit

The author of this part of the Kolbrin Bible knew that God is Light, and that God’s Light flows to us through the Spiritual Sun. Now that we are in the End Times, that Light is the Sun of Righteousness, which grows stronger every day and is helping in the process of converting matter back into Spirit.

Heaven

Heaven can be called the center of God, the highest level of consciousness, or the One. It is all the same. I can find no other reference to “Newit”, but it either refers to Heaven or the Godhead. We don’t need to confuse ourselves with the names men give these things; just know that the goal of spiritual development is Oneness with all and universal Love.

Bedazzled by Material Things

“My land, what have you become? You have left the true path of your faith and wandered into strange byways. You are bemused and bedazzled with things that disturb the senses, and have become like a ship adrift without oars. You have abandoned the spirit that inspired you and sought satisfaction among lifeless things of Earth. You have spurned the stern discipline required to win the hand of love and trodden the well-worn path of carnal satisfaction. You have turned to the ways of the harlot, and out of your harlotry, you have wrought destruction. You no longer delight in the serene mystery of the stars above; your pleasures are in the filth beneath your feet. Where once you gazed upward in awe, now you look downward in degradation. O that this is the self-chosen fate of my land!

“I go, for go I must. I depart, for destiny demands it. When his motherland collapses about him like an undermined palace built on a foundation of mud, then it is not a time for hesitation. One man cannot stem a flood with his hand. When his habitation falls apart, it is time to seek another. Perhaps nations, like men, grow old and decay. My land is old, a hundred and twenty generations have passed through it since Osireh brought light to men. Four times, the stars have moved to new positions, and twice the sun has changed the direction of his journey. Twice, the Destroyer has struck Earth and three times the Heavens have opened and shut. Twice, the land has been swept clean by water.”

-The Kolbrin Bible (Man:33:4-5)

Left the True Path

We know that this part of the Kolbrin Bible was written by Egyptian priests, so the land that has left the true path is Egypt. Leaving the true path is not something that happens overnight, but gradually over a period of time. To some degree, people can only blame themselves for wandering into what the quote calls “strange byways,” but we also have to understand that the dark forces and beings help lead people astray, and that can’t be ignored. Some people wonder why God created evil and darkness, or why he allows it to exist. You can’t have free choice if there is only one thing to choose from. God has to allow the dark ones to control us to some degree in the physical realm so that we can turn from darkness and choose Light.

Bemused and Bedazzled

I don’t think it is accurate to say that people are “bemused and bedazzled with things that disturb the senses”. It is actually things that bring pleasure to the senses that we are attracted to. It is accurate to say that in most cases, such people are like ships adrift without oars that are “blown by the wind” in random directions as they seek more and more gratification for the physical senses, ignoring their spirits in the process.

Mystery of the Stars

The mystery of the stars is really a reference to the Spiritual Sun. When people become materialistic, they do turn away from the Sun and look downward to the material things of lower dimensions.

I Must Depart

The author realizes that to stay in the fallen land of Egypt is not wise, since there is no way a small number of people can bring it back to it’s former spiritual greatness. As he says, it is possible that nations, like people, grow old and decay. Egypt was a very old civilization, and that might be what happened there. This may be similar to what happened to the once great civilization of Atlantis. From a materialistic viewpoint, it may have been a war or a plague that destroyed Atlantis (it did not sink into the sea), but this may have happened because their great spiritual civilization had descended into materialism and was no longer protected by God.

Shrines are Buried and the Whirlwinds Came

“O great city, O heart of Egypt, your habitations are overthrown and your sacred shrines lie buried beneath the sands of time. The dust of ages enwraps you, as a dead one is swathed within the tomb. Your temples still stand and ring with noise, but the solemn shrines are silent. They have become an abode for the wild dog and scorpion, and your roads are highways of wickedness.

“Behold, in the days long gone down into dust, the whirlwind came and earth poured out her wrathful breath, so that you were burnt. The evildoers were swept away by the waters, and the wicked ones were

swallowed up in the fires. The days of the years were shortened and the times of all things altered. The seasons were turned around, so that the seed rotted within the soil, and no green shoots came forth to greet the day. All buds withered upon the vines, the land lay dead under its grey shroud. The moon

changed the order of her ways, and the sun set himself a new course, so that men knew not where they were and all were afflicted. The stars swam in a new direction, and the whole order of things was changed. Yet, O Egypt, even from those days of calamity you emerged unbroken, your spirit intact,

your heart unshaken. What has happened to you, O land of mine?”

-The Kolbrin Bible (MAN:33:1-2)

Habitations Overthrown

It is unclear from this part of the Kolbrin Bible how habitations were overthrown, but it seems more likely that this is talking about a natural disaster rather than a war. Shrines lie buries because the great spiritual schools were shut down, probably by a corrupt, materialistic government. The writers of this part of the Kolbrin Bible are known to be Egyptian priests, but they may have written it while in another land, probably Greece.

Temples still Stand

The author is separating temples from shrines. Temples are probably the places approved by the corrupt government and attended by the general population who are not spiritual. Shrines are the ancient mystery schools that taught spiritual truth to a select few who were ready for such knowledge and would use it wisely.

Whirlwinds Came

This paragraph describes a great disaster. Besides whirlwinds, it says that wicked ones were “swallowed up in the fires”. It is unlikely that fires were able to distinguish evil people from good, but the author seems to be assuming only evil people still exist in Egypt. The additional information that follows tells us a lot more about exactly what kind of disaster we are talking about. We are told that the seasons were shortened and the seasons changed so that seeds rotted in the ground and buds withered on the vine. The movements of the moon and the sun changed, and stars moved in new directions.

There is only a few possible things that could have caused such changes:

  • A large asteroid passing close to the Earth
  • The Earth flipping over on its axis

Since the quote doesn’t mention a strange body approaching Earth, it is most likely that it was the Earth flipping over. Science tells us that this happened only once, and that millions of years ago, but the records of ancient civilizations indicate otherwise.

Heart Unshaken

The quote ends with a positive note. We are told that despite this great calamity, Egypt survived. Its population was probably greatly reduced, yet it survived. I think the reason the author added this positive statement is to remind all who read the quote that even in the greatest disasters, there is hope for the future.

Writings from the Days of the Wise Ones

“Odidef of Onekhefu found many scrolls from the olden times. The Inspector of Temples discovered writings from the days of the Wise Ones, many things from the past and utterances by Lords of the Kohar. He caused them to be copied and placed in the houses of record. Some were guarded from the eyes of men. The writings dedicated to the name of The Great God were sought out. Nekat, a scribe at Yano, wrote them down; they are set forth by his hand. They are not lost and will live when he and his sons and his son’s sons rest in Morningland. He will abide in Amentuth in peace.

“The physician must know the courses of the Watchers. He must know their times and their comings and goings. He must know the secret of the Lord of Forms and the way of the Guide of Souls. He must know who are the Owners of Forms and who are the Formless Ones.

He must know their abode. He must know the road and the four ways of entry. He must know the nature of the double power. He must be a master at drawing forth the spirit. He must know the outside of man, the things which flow over it. He must know the inside man, the substances which fill it. He must know the heart, the muscles that move out from it, controlling every action of the body.”

-The Kolbrin Bible (MAN:32:1-3)

Scrolls from the Olden Times

What the author considers the olden times is not clear, but we know that the writers of this chapter of the Kolbrin Bible are priests who came from Egypt and moved to some are to the north, probably Greece.

Writings of the Wise Ones

We can assume that these Wise Ones were the highest-level priests or teachers in the ancient temples of spiritual knowledge. As has been the tradition for thousands of years, only limited Spiritual Knowledge was ever put to writing. The most important knowledge was passed along orally from generation to generation.

They are not lost

The great teachings are not lost. They were, according to the author of this chapter of the Kolbrin Bible, will be kept safe until a future time when they can be understood again. Gene Savoy, Sr., brought much of that teaching back to us after much research and revelations. Yet, we have beentold that not everything has been revealed yet.

The Physician Must Know the Way of the Guide of Souls

While this may refer to one who heals physical ailments, I think it is primarily meant to mean one who cares for Spiritual illnesses, which is why the good physician must know the “way of the Guide of Souls”. He also must know who are the owners of forms and the formless ones. I think this line is considering forms to be physical in nature, although spiritual beings have forms also. So by that interpretation, God is the owner of the Formless ones, while the Demiurge is the owner of Forms. But even physical matter has some spirit in it, and now that we are in the End Times, it is gradually being changed back into its spiritual origin.

So study the writings of the Wise Ones, but also practice Spiritual Techniques. Studying alone isn’t enough.

The Ancient Temples Taught Spiritual Wisdom

Ramesseum – Egypt Tours Portal

“In the old books, it is said that the Old Motherland was ruled by the Queen of Light, who was supreme above all. The temple tales tell that the lesser gods came to dwell among mortals when the Mistress of Brightness ruled in Kelathi, that they were sheltered in temples, and priests were appointed to minister unto them. It is said that places of instruction were setup within the temples, but few men were taught the inner knowledge. It was rightly held that it would be a danger to those without wisdom, and it had

to be safeguarded. Is this not the tale told in the Book of Beginnings? It is said that Kelathi lay within the borders of Kahemu, but could it not have been the land of similar sounding name outward from Pontas beyond Godsland?

“Is it not said of both that they were engulfed in fire and water? In the Book of Beginnings, it is said: The generations passed, and a vast amount of knowledge and wisdom was accumulated and preserved in purity. It was the heritage of mankind, but though man had learned to cherish the

light of Truth and walk wisely with it, nevertheless then as now, false priesthoods flourished. They pandered to the carnal desires of the undeveloped and exploited the weaknesses of the ignorant. Their iniquity built up a vast weight of evil in the Netherworld, which projected itself into the material of Earth, so that the powers which upheld it became unstable. This caused all the southern part of the Old Land to sink down into heaving waters.”

-The Kolbrin Bible(MAN:31:7-8)

Queen of Light

Since this part of the Kolbrin Bible was written by ancient Egyptian Priests, we can assume “the Old Motherland” was Egypt. It is not clear who this “Queen of Light” was, but it makes sense that at a time when Egypt had many mystery schools, or temples, that they would be ruled by a person of Light. In other words, she was a very advanced spiritual person.

Lesser Gods

While the author calls these beings “lesser gods,” they were probably not gods at all, but highly advanced spiritual people.

Few Were Taught the Inner Knowledge

Just as Jesus taught basic moral teachings to the public and limited the advanced teachings to his apostles and deciples, the ancient mystery schools didn’t teach advanced spiritual knowledge to just anyone who asked. In most such schools, students were accepted on a trial basis for a period of two or three years. During that period, they were taught only the basics. At the end of the trial period, the teacher would decide if they should move on to more advanced teachings or not.

Book of Beginnings

This Book of beginnings seems to be both a book of spiritual knowledge as well as a book of the history of the mystery schools. A great amount of wisdom was accumulated and preserved. Whether it was preserved in books, or only shared orally is unclear, but it is known that these temples forbid writing down much of that knowledge, unless it was written in allegory to prevent the wrong kind of people from learning such knowledge.

False Priesthoods Flourished

We see much of this today. In fact, nearly all churches and religions today do not teach the spiritual truths at all. Some churches today don’t even teach spiritual development, but just moral and social rules for existing in the material world. While such teachings are useful, they do nothing for awakening and developing the Spirit.

Glorify God with Thoughts and Deeds

“These writings are dedicated to The Great God Who is Eternal. May they live forever among things that survive to serve man. May they be an enlightening lesson and a warning to those who follow, for now a dark night of ignorance and fear overshadows the land. Your servant bows to Your will, O Great God Who is benevolent towards those who serve with purity of intent.

“We who remain loyal glorify You, not with mere words, for the time of hypocrisy has passed, but in our inmost thoughts and in our deeds. We remember You as the sun rises to Your glory in the morning and, as in the evening, it sets into Your peace. Teach us that there is joy in being Your servants. Keep us under Your protecting wing.

“Great Spirit Who made the Nile to flow, the great water, which never wearies or ceases from its journeying. Its movement is as everlasting as the wind. May the stream of my life be filled to overflowing with the waters of righteousness. Loose the shackles of wickedness, which hold me captive. Let not the string of my lute be broken while I play, and let not my labors be ended before their fulfilment. Though men hail me for a greater thing than any that has been done before, it will not be my memorial. Time will eat away my name, but let many mornings dawn on my waking, that I may complete the task entrusted to me. Remove the fears that lurk about me in the solitude. Cut off the bonds of affliction that bind me down. Let my spirit roam free. We who remain loyal know Your laws and the Great Law, which is as firm as the hills of immortality. In the days to come great songs will be sung unto You, even as they were sung in the days of old.

“The priests can no longer be held in restraint by Umotif, and dark days threaten us. It is a time of foreboding, yet there is peace throughout Kahemu. The state of men in high places is such that the beauty of Truth has to be concealed from them, lest they profane even her purity.”

-The Kolbrin Bible (MAN:31:1-4)

God is Eternal

Foolish people will ask, “Who created God?” or “What existed before God?” If you understand what God is and what the Realm of Spirit is, you would know those questions are foolish. No one created God. If some being did, that being would be greater than God. You can say that God is self-created. Likewise, nothing could exist before God, nothing could exist without God. God is the source of all creation. Even the fallen realm of matter was part of the spiritual realm created by God before the Demiurge altered it and changed it into matter.

We Glorify You

Those who remain faithful to the true spiritual teachings of the ancient Mystery Schools remain loyal to God and glorify God, never placing the Demiurge, or any other false god, ahead of the true God of Light and Spirit.

The Sun Rises to God’s Glory

While the author of this chapter of the Kolbrin Bible doesn’t say so, it should be clear that when he says “The sun rises to God’s glory, he is talking about the Spiritual Sun.

Loose the Shackles of Wickedness

At the time this was written, Egypt was under the control of evil and wicked leaders. We are seeing much of this in our world today, so we can empathise with the author asking God to help save those who serve God from the evil ones.

Let many Mornings Dawn on me

The author is asking God to give him a long life in the physical realm. He understands that the longer he lives here, the more he can help to achieve God’s Goals and spread the Truth and Wisdom of God to those who are ready to hear it.

Great Songs

In the coming Golden Age of Enlightenment, great songs will be sung to God, as the Powers of Light finally defeat the powers of darkness forever, and the dark realm of matter will become Spirit again. So glorify God, who is the only one who can save us.

Few Can Be Trusted In a Land of Darkness

“To Ohsirahes from your servant, Panubis; may The One God grant you long life and contentment. May Nebetnif be your everlasting joy. May strife ever depart before your shadow.

“Your servant writes with difficulty, for his heart has become small within him, and few are those whom he can entrust with tasks of importance. In considering the events occurring in the land, few are the words of assurance that can be written. Things do not get any better; from year to year they get worse.

“The secret writings remain with us, but they are lightly regarded by those who should cherish them. Few still walk in their light, and in all the land the right way of life is avoided. The path of righteousness is spurned; it is beyond the strength of men today. Here, at its heart, the land is

distressed. Better by far to dwell at the edge of the pool, where none but the strongest ripples reach, and they as no more than a slight disturbance.

“Men cry aloud with sorrowful hearts, for their lives are turned over. No longer are their institutions respected, and like wild dogs, man seeks to snatch the sustenance of man. Contentment and trust have departed; peace has gone, and hope is no more. Mornings come and men rise to greet them with anticipation of change, but this passes with the early mists and the sun goes down on despondency and despair. Your servant is heavy-laden with care; he is burdened with sorrow but adjusts his life to the times. Better by far would it be if he were many days journey away.

-The Kolbrin Bible (MAN:30:1-4)

May Strife Depart Before You

This is a great thing to say to anyone. We should not wish for strife or difficulties for anyone, even those who have earned it by their deeds, because if we wish such things on others, we are becoming hateful people ourselves. Instead, we should want that such people have a revelation and awaken to the truth.

Few Can Be Trusted

It is true now, and always has been, that few can be trusted with the truth. Not just basic truths about the world around us, but the Truth about God, and the power that resides in that truth. Those who have learned that Truth are always very careful about who they share it with. We are now living in a time where we see much darkness around us, and it will likely get worse before it gets better, so it is especially important not to give Divine Knowledge to those who would use it for evil.

The Secrets are Lightly Regarded

We see this today, especially in the United States, where being “woke” is considered evil and the government turns against anyone who is considered woke, even though many of those they considered woke are not really awakened in the spiritual sense. It is strange to consider that if these people are opposed to being awake, that means they prefer to be asleep and trapped in a kind of hypnotic trance where they are controlled by evil beings and forces.

Dwell at the Edge of the Pool

This line is allegorical. It means that we should try to dwell as far away from the centers of evil and darkness as possible. When that isn’t possible, we should at least visit such places regularly. Our sanctuary in Reno is well away from heavily populated areas for that reason.

Adjust to the Times

There was a time when holy people were respected and had little to fear from the general public. There have always been evil people around, but not like today. So to some degree, we need to adjust to the times by tolerating things that we shouldn’t accept and taking jobs that are not really good for people. In short, we may need to hide our spiritual nature to avoid persecution by the Dark Ones. But we should also continue to make every effort to bring more Light into the world to push away the darkness.

Strive Courageously and Honor Friendships

“May you ever seek the unknown and strive courageously against the unseen. May your spirit be high on the journey in this place, where so many men grow weary on the road. Be not one who sits following the ways of other men, but one who moves along a path of his own choosing.

“Keep the love of life given men, or life is lost, but cast aside the fear of death, for it is a small payment for a life well lived. Rejoice in living, and walk in the sun, avoiding the shadows. Remember that though life is to be enjoyed to the full, its enjoyment is ever subordinate to duty.

“Be a man, my son. Be not a man of unbridled wrath, for such are rarely without trouble, though righteous wrath will lend strength to your arm. Be a man above pettiness and greed, above meanness and deceit.

“Keep forever the joys of friendships well made, and serve your friends well. Never betray friendship or turn it to serve your own ends, lest you become something less than a man. Carry high gladness in your heart, and never cease to wonder at the marvels in life. Not a day shall pass, but you will see something new to enrich your thoughts. Look at life as a man and not as an ox. Wonder at the great and awesome manifestations of God, such as sunlight and thunder, the dew and the stars, the sandstorm and the murmur of waters. Never let your eyes become dulled to the growth of trees, to the rising of the waters and to the return of the harvests.

-The Kolbrin Bible (Man:29:24-27)

Strive Courageously

Telling us to strive courageously against the unseen means that we must work against the unseen forces and beings of darkness and not allow them to control us or turn us away from the path of righteousness. When the quote says “may your spirit be high,” it means high in the sense of moving into higher dimensions or higher levels of consciousness.

Be One Who Moves

When we decide to start developing our spiritual Self, we are not all starting at the same point, and we do not all move at the same speed. That doesn’t matter. We all have to proceed at our own speed. The important thing is that we keep moving forward.

Love of Life

We should all love life, and that means physical life as well as spiritual. It also means loving the lives of other beings, not only humans. Highly developed spiritual people are always friendly with animals and all living things. They understand that even though the physical realm is the creation of the Demiurge, all life comes from God.

Unbridled Wrath

We are seeing much of this today. Some people think that they can be angry and violent, and even believe they are being good Christians by being such. But Jesus never taught that, and spiritual people know that being angry and violent only attracts anger and violence to yourself.

Keep Friendships

We all benefit from having friends. That applies only to actual friends, not the kind that many people have on social media, where they have thousands of “friends,” most of whom they have never actually met. Spiritual people usually don’t have many friends, but the ones they have are true friends. They honor those friends by doing what they can to help them, especially by helping them to awaken and develop their spiritual faculties.

Go to the Abode of Light on the Wings of the Sun

“Now I make ready to go downstream to the Abode of Light, that wisdom and Truth may be carried to the appointed place under the everlasting stars and there made secure to men in generations yet to grow up in the Light. They will be seen in generations to come.

“I shall go on the Wings of the Sun before the retinue of the Breaker of Heads. I am one acknowledged as being pure of hands and shall be with those who serve under the head of The Great One.

“My name, henceforth, shall be Hemnetar, and I shall not eat of fish or beans until I come to the place appointed to fit my station. I shall wear linen, and my sandals shall be made of grass, so that none shall perceive my greatness. I will hide great things within my heart, and a bridle will ever hold my tongue in check.

“I shall pray among the empty-hearted, but my prayers will not be as theirs but as those offered in the days of our fathers, who sat enfolded in silence two hours beforehand. Now, the marks are changed by the hypocrisy of men.

“With me shall go Methemun, my brother, but Nifanethrith shall remain and provide for our father in faith. We shall be with he, whom men call Nonpeka for his foolishness in his father’s abode. Kenamun shall be with us as chief overseer.

“Behind us, we leave many in sorrow, but our stature shall not diminish, for greater things are always believed of those who are distant.”

-The Kolbrin Bible (MAN:29:12-17)

Downstream to the Abode of Light

It is not clear where this person is when he says he will go downstream to the Abode of Light. In the previous section of this chapter, however, we saw that they headed north from Egypt, probably to Greece. We can assume, therefore, that he is now in Greece, and when he heads downstream to the Abode of Light, he is either talking about a place where a new mystery school has been established or a place that is considered holy by the people in the area. He adds that he goes there so that Wisdom and Truth may be carried to the “appointed place,” which we can assume is the same place he called the Abode of Light. A winged Sun was a common symbol in ancient Egypt for the Spiritual Sun.

I Will Hide Great Things

The author says that he will dress like a poor person to hide his “greatness”. He adds that he will hide great things within his heart. As most of us already know, the teachers of ancient Mystery Schools kept the teachings secret from the general public and taught them to students only a little at a time so as not to overwhelm them.

Pray Among the Empty Hearted

The empty-hearted are those who have made no effort to awaken and develop their spiritual faculties. The prayers of the spiritual person are different than those of materialists. Materialists will pray to ask for material wealth of one sort or another. The farmer might pray for successful crops. The carpenter for finding good quality wood. The spiritual person prays for the development of his spirit and soul, and for the world to become a world of Light, as God intended it to be.

We Leave Many in Sorrow

Even today, people who take the path of spiritual development may find themselves being estranged from friends and family, even without relocating to a new place. Unfortunately, this is often necessary since it is unusual for several members of the same family to be among The Chosen. But we can take solace in knowing that as we advance and help others to do the same, those who are not ready now will become ready at a later time.

The Sacred Writings of Light

“I am Kison, son of Nesubot and Nektorab, a citizen of Hakarnak. I am he, who brought the Sacred Writings from the swamplands and gathered men together, who are the Sons of Light.

“Now the wisdom of olden times is replanted in the land, though it sits without in the courtyard. Yet among those behind the pillars, many know who among them sees clearly. Great secrets are hidden deeply, but they are not unknown, and the day will come when the soil will give up its treasures.

“I am not one who takes his ear in his hand when darkness clouds his heart. I came from out of the land of security to a place, where all men would raise knives against me, were their eyes opened.

“In baskets of barley, on the backs of asses, came the Sacred Writings containing words to guide the wise and knowledge to dispel the powers of darkness. No magic could prevail against the superior spells I carried, and the treasures remained unseen.

“Men sit beneath the trees and nod their heads solemnly and roll out long books to read things that evaporate in the air. I deride not the books, but one blow of the sword can destroy ten thousand strokes of the pen.

“Those in high places persecute us, not because of the whole of the writings, for much is common to all, but because we seek to change the established order of things. We seek to change the ever present state of affairs.

“Because, too, we have a God who is not the holder of property or a God of the rich and powerful. Who benefits from the riches and estates of other gods? The gods or their priests? Would they who benefit, therefore, welcome the words of God? Such is not the nature of men, and we have the nigh impossible task of changing the natures of men.”

-The Kolbrin Bible (Man:29:1-6)

Sacred Writings from the Swamp Lands

We don’t know what particular area Kison is calling swamp lands, but we know this part of the Kolbrin Bible was written by priests of ancient Egypt. These are obviously not just average priests, but priests of the ancient Mystery Schools that existed in Egypt.

Gathered Together People of Light

What Kison means by this is that those who left Egypt and headed to lands to the North (probably Greece) where they gathered together people of Light to study the sacred teachings. When he says “Sons of Light,” we must remember that until recently, this could refer to both men and women. Some of the ancient schools accepted both men and women, while others accepted only men. It is not clear which was true of these new schools established in Greece.

Sits in the Courtyard

At first, the teachers who left Egypt had to teach in the open in Greece. But only a limited number of the teachings were revealed in public. As their popularity grew, they began to establish new Mystery Schools where carefully selected students could study the full Teachings of Light.

A Place Where Men Would Raise Knives

The Sacred books had to be carefully carried into Greece, hidden in baskets of barley so they would not be seen by those of certain religions who would have turned against these Egyptian priests if they knew what they were carrying into their land. It should be noted that while some teachings were in the books, they were often written in allegory so the uninitiated could not understand them. In addition, the most important teachings were never written down, but passed on only verbally.

Persecuted

These teachers were persecuted by the government because they sought to change the order of things, much as do spiritual people today. While governments, even today, say that it is allowed to kill other people under certain conditions, or when the government declares war on them, spiritual people knew that was not true. When God said that we should not kill, he did not make exceptions. They were also persecuted because most spiritual teachers taught that individuals should not own property, and when students joined the schools, they were required to give all their property and money to the school to be shared by all.

Success

Yet despite all these problems, we know that the Egyptian priests succeeded in starting new Mystery schools in Greece. Eventually, those schools spread to Rome. To some degree, God protects those who do His work on earth.
