Commune with Your Soul

“Commune with your soul within, and consider how wonderfully you are created. Meditate long upon your nature, contemplate the powers you possess. Consider your needs and desires; thus, you will find the proper path through life and a sure guide to direct your footsteps.
“As the union of heat and tinder produces fire, so does the union of soul and body produce life in man.
“Nothing is constant in life, except wisdom, knowledge and skill. Life ebbs and flows, as the tide and the fortunes of men wax and wane as the moon. The rich become poor, and the poor become rich. The powerful become weak, and the weak become powerful. Where the stream flowed yesteryear is now dust, and the cooling waters have moved elsewhere. The lakes of last season have joined the wilderness, and the dykes have become pits. Fortune smiles upon the improvident, and misfortune smites the worthy. Men are born handsome or ugly, rich or poor; they inherit a life of ease or a
life of struggle.
“Here is wisdom, accept the nature of things as they are, for as such they accord with the Plans of God and are under the Law. But accept them not with resignation, as an affliction to be borne, but as a challenge to contest. Man must rise to meet life or be overwhelmed; this, too, is the Law. When the road seems long and the load heavy, remember that the stouthearted runner carries the greatest burden.”
-the Kolbrin Bible (MPR:4:1-4)
Commune
Yes, we should commune with our Soul, but that can’t happen until we awaken and develop our Spirit until it becomes a conscious Soul. We should consider how wonderfully we are created. While we are born into this world in a physical body, we also have a divine Spirit provided by God. It is only because of that Spirit that it is possible for us to redeem ourselves with the help of God.
Needs and Desires
We should consider our needs and desires, but while we must meet the needs of our body and mind, we should take care that when it comes to desires, we only work toward those that meet the Laws of God and truly benefit us, as well as the whole world.
Union of Soul and Body
The union of body and Spirit does produce life in Man. While the physical body does have a life of its own, only the union of body, mind, and Spirit produces true Life capable of immortality.
Nothing is Constant Except Wisdom and Knowledge
Wisdom and Knowledge are constant. What is wise today will be wise tomorrow. What is true knowledge today will always be true. Skills, on the other hand, are not constant. We gain and lose skills throughout our lives on earth.
Fortunes Wax and Wane
While it doesn’t always happen, it is true that the rich sometimes lose their fortunes while the poor gain fortunes. During the Great Depression, many wealthy people lost everything. On the other hand, sometimes people with very little win a fortune in a state or national lottery.
Accept the Nature of Things
We should accept the nature of things, but that doesn’t mean we should not try to change them when we know things could be better. Now that we are in the End Times, everything is changing as God slowly changes the fallen realm of matter back into Spirit. We can help with those changes by doing God’s work on earth, and encouraging others to do the same. Those who don’t rise to meet these changes will indeed be overwhelmed.
