Special Christmas Offer for 2022

The Miraculous True Story Jamil: Child of Light was first told in a hard-cover text printed in 1972. Thanks to today’s advances in technology, we are preparing to tell the story again through a beautiful soft cover printing as well as in a new “fixed page” ePub format.

The Jamil Commentaries was compiled to accompany this release in a full-color, soft cover edition and ePub. Within its pages are the stories of individuals who had personal experiences of The Child, some within his short lifetime 1959-1962. The Jamil Commentaries has never before been made public in any format.

These two beautiful volumes can be part of your library for a contribution of $100 to help us with the production costs of bringing this miraculous story to the public.

Each of the two books cost more than $1000 each to produce, in addition to the cost of printing. These two titles are the first of several books we will be bringing out to the public in new editions over the next several months.

As special gifts …
added to this offer will be these rare finds from The Community Archives:

■ Audio-Book in mp3 format of the actor Jack Kruschen reading the book Jamil: Child of Light, (known at the time, the early 1970’s, under the title Jamil: The Child Christ).

■ Audio recording in mp3 format of the Australian Broadcast recording of “Adagio for the Child Christ” composed by The Reverend Canon Gary Buchanan, Founder and Director of The Community’s Department of Music.

■ An audio recording in mp3 format of James Charles Geoghegan’s interview on his personal experience on meeting Jamil for the first time in Xalapa, Mexico in 1960.

You will be receiving an order form by email in the next few days. Thank you for your contribution.

It is time to begin assembling the 2015 Community Calendar. And our publishing staff is looking for your best photos related to Community life. Submissions need to be at least 300dpi at 7.5″x10″ size.

Send in submissions before the end of December 2014 to: editor@communitycommunique.net.

Your 2013 Community Calendar is in the Mail

The 2013 Community Calendar will be in the mail to all Community members before the end of the Advent Vigil.

The calendar follows the traditional monthly format beginning with January, but it contains all the important dates of The Community’s Sacred Calendar year, which begins on February 2nd (See Jamil: Child of Light, chapter 27).

In addition to dates for liturgical observance or remembrance, the calendar also indicates the moon phases for the year and, in relation to these moon phases, the optimal days to view sunrise or sunset according to the Lunar/Solar Cycle Generative Technique familiar to Cosolargists who have advanced through The Cosolargy Papers.

This year’s calendar includes several original paintings done by Canadian artist and Consociate Frieda Nelson. Each of the paintings was inspired by her visits to The Community sanctuary in recent years. Frieda has agreed to make full color prints of these works available to fellow Community members. These will be produced in 5×7, 8×10 and 11×14 standard sizes for framing and in popular sizes of postcards and personal note cards. All are reasonably priced. Please refer to the order form enclosed with your printed calendar or click on the PDF of the order form below. Her paintings are sensitive and inspiring. We encourage you to encourage her to continue her creative work.

Our thanks goes to Deacon Dr. Stephan Fuelling for compiling and designing the calendar in consultation with the publishing, editing, and liturgical departments and with Bishop Gene Savoy Jr. We also thank the Rev. Ben Hubbard, who prints the calendar using our Toshiba e-Studio printing system at our production facilities located at the Steamboat Hot Springs Priory.

We expect you will find this year’s Community Calendar useful and that the full-color format and beautiful photography will be an inspiration to you throughout the year. When you receive your print copy of the calendar, please remember to make the suggested donation of $15.00 to help defray costs.

Solar Teachings of Greece and the Mediterranean published

Reproduction from the Palace of Knossos. PHOTO: Gene Savoy Jr.

Solar Teachings of Greece and the Mediterranean, the ninth in a series of Project X Symposia lectures on ancient solar cultures, has now been published and is being made available to Consociates enrolled in or graduates of the Academy Program who wish to obtain a personal copy.

The lectures were originally delivered in 2009 by Bishop Gene Savoy Jr. on location in Greece during the Project X seminar tour that year. Later, during Convocation that year, technique lectures were revised and repeated for the general membership of the Community who were not able to attend the seminar tour. This collection of lectures is the first in the Project X Symposia series to be authored by Gene Savoy Jr. rather than by Gene Savoy Sr.

The transcript was prepared and printed only days before the 2012 Convocation opened and was made available first to Convocation attendees.

Gift copies are available to Consociates through the Jamilian University Press for a donation of $49.50.

Members of the 2009 Greece tour will receive a copy of the transcript with no further donation requested.

“The Light Factor” new column in Reno Tahoe Tonight

PHOTO: Stephan Fuelling

Sean Savoy was recently approached to write a quarterly column for the local magazine Reno Tahoe Tonight. The publisher and editor, Oliver Ex, wanted something new and spiritually oriented for his independent alternative publication, which he hopes to raise another notch in quality during the revamping process the magazine is presently undergoing. Reno Tahoe Tonight is already known for its excellent photography. Oliver Ex wants it to be known for excellent writing as well.

The title of the new column, The Light Factor, is intended to suggest not only light and enlightenment but also that there is something within the light, the “Light of light.” That is where the word “factor” comes into the title. The column focuses on matters of consciousness, science, energy, ancient mysteries, and adventures into the unknown.

Savoy says the reason he agreed to write the column was to “reach out to the younger generation about the new world consciousness and to provide suggestions for how a person might go about accessing it.”

The first full-length version of the column will appear in the June 2012 edition of Reno Tahoe Tonight. Read the digital short version teaser that appeared in the May 2012 issue at http://issuu.com/renotahoetonight/docs/rtt_may_2012_digitalv_high_res/13 .

You can visit Reno Tahoe Tonight magazine online at www.renotahoetonightmagazine.com. And you can see other writings by Sean Savoy at his website: www.seansavoy.com.
