Last week, we were touching on the Kingdom of Light as not being part of the physical universe, the physical senses, emotion or the mind; and that this, in fact, was an essential component to the message of Jesus. His teaching emphasized rebirth of the Soul through the seminal agency of the Godhead by means of Light.

The secular religion of the Jerusalem priesthood in control of the Temple at the time of Jesus’ ministry, like so many state-regulated religions of the world at large, had become deficient in knowledge of the True God as preached by Jesus. The priesthood, ignorant of the True God, based their theology on a traditional form of worship, on sacrifice and levitical purity, on moral laws and written scripture that dominated their way of life. The priests considered the teachings of Jesus to be heretical. He was punished and eventually put to death for attempting to alter that which was written.

The Christian Churches that claim to have succeeded the ministry of Jesus have not carried on the tradition of spiritual rebirth by means of the Appearance of God’s Image and Word. Furthermore, they have not preserved the Sacred Teachings on the source of Divine Nourishment, prerequisite to a reborn Soul, as proclaimed by Jesus, nor have they preserved knowledge of The Way that was essential to his followers. Like the priests of those orthodox sects in control of the Temple in Jerusalem, opposed by Jesus and his followers, the Churches have carried on the more secular tradition of the old Law, making of Jesus a sacrifice to a wrathful and vengeful god as atonement for the sins of man. By so doing, this secular tradition merely replaced the sacrifice of innocent animals, thus preserving the worship of an earth deity, a practice common to the pagan religions of antiquity.

The Sacred Doctrine of the Appearance of God’s Image and Word as a living, creative force regulated by Heavenly Law was lost by the failure of Jesus’s followers to preserve the knowledge of the True God, entrusted into their care by Jesus as Messias, Teacher, and Interpreter of the Law. As a consequence, the Churches became apostate, teaching the greatest of all heresies: that God’s Word is perpetuated by the Churches and that it is confined to the pages of Biblical scripture. These heresies were compounded by the doctrine that salvation of the Soul is attained by faith and belief rather than by a spiritual transformation of the Spirit as a Divine Process regulated by the Living Word of God, manifest in The Image of Light sent from Heaven, and not by written law, sacrament, dogma, or creed. Jesus – Messenger of God, sent to teach The Way – was elevated to the Godhead, worshiped and adored as were the gods of primitive religions. Knowledge of The Way he revealed to his followers was rejected, misunderstood, and put aside.

The Holy Spirit had departed Israel following the breaking of the Covenant and the passing away of the prophets. The Covenant had been renewed afresh by amendments and supplements under Jesus in a new and more meaningful manner. Jesus had revealed to his sect – the Essenes who had held to the Old Covenant – the Way of the New Covenant and the fountainhead of the True Bread of Life. And, as scripture states, they did eat and were satisfied according to the Word of God. The Light of God manifest in the spiritual Sun was their source of food during the daylight hours. God had given them Heavenly Bread to eat and the Living Waters of Fire. As a new generation of Man that had evolved over countless centuries, the ascetics under Jesus were able to absorb the rays of the sun according to sacred and ancient rites for which they were prepared – something not possible for the novice. Only at night, after the sun had set, did they eat of earthly food, and then only with prayers according to their tradition. By these means God dwelled with those of the Righteous Community who disciplined their physical bodies while allowing their Spirits to commune with the Light manifest.

The New Covenant – declared by Jesus to the sect that had awaited his coming since their withdrawal into the desert, away from the formalized religion of Israel – was to begin a new era for humanity; a returning to the Godhead and a renewal of the human Spirit in preparation for the coming Messianic Kingdom promised by God, to be established at His Second Advent in the End Times of the Earth.

With the crucifixion of Jesus, the martyrdom of his disciples, and the continued persecution of the faithful remnant of the sect who preserved the Teachings revealed by Jesus, the sacred doctrines were lost to the later communities and churches who created a faith system out of the scattered teachings that remained. Hebrew scripture was seized upon and used as a basis for the new religion, proclaimed as Christianity in the ensuing centuries. The formalized religion that followed did more to perpetuate orthodox Judaism and the Mosaic Law, with emphasis on blood sacrifice and atonement, than it did to reveal the True God preached by Jesus.

What followed, in place of the transforming spiritual Process of new birth and life – exemplifying the new spiritual man – as taught by Jesus, was a belief system of dogmatic concepts, worship, and symbolic ritualistic sacrifice, which only tended to give renewed life to older teachings. The Holy Spirit, which had been renewed under Jesus and again at Pentecost when the manifesting Image and Word was declared, not in human speech but in the language of Spirit incarnating in those renewed Souls gathered under the spiritual Sun, for a second time departed the land and its people.

However, in accordance with the prophecy of Jesus, God’s Light would shine forth in the Advent of His Final Appearance in greater magnitude than it ever had before.

In our Community of Light and in our Teaching of Light, we understand that the Heavenly Kingdom of Light is not part of the physical universe – that universe experienced by mortals – and that it is unattainable by mortal senses, emotion or mind. We know that it is only attainable by an awakened Soul brought to birth, reborn by God’s Image and Word appearing in Divine Light. This birth is the result of a creative reproductive process in which the living Soul arises from a union of human Spirit and the Seminal Reason of God’s Word transported by The Image in solar light.

Seminal Reason, within the agency of light, impregnates the fertile Spirit, and a new Soul is conceived. In its initial stages of development, the Soul receives its nourishment from the sun. In later stages of maturity, it feeds on the Divine Presence in the Spiritual Sun, a source of Light and Energy in the Spiritual Universe. This is an important distinction to be made.

Jesus had preached on this Divine Process of procreation and rebirth of Man’s Soul in the Image of God as essential to immortality. The Process was not a matter of written law or scripture or sacrifice, but a Holy Act regulated by the Divine Laws of Heaven. He had preached of the True God of Heaven – who was not the author or creator of this world – and had declared that those reborn must put away the ways of the world and live the Way of God.

Jesus had revealed to his disciples the Sacred Way – hidden from the world because of its shallowness, and held secret by those who followed The Way. They knew that humanity was the progeny of Dark Angels who, having fallen away from the Righteousness of God, lost the power of Spiritual Reason and caused to be generated the Dark Worlds which, in turn, generated the universe of matter.

Any person taking up The Way exposed oneself to the creative and generative forces of the Universe. Unless one led a righteous and disciplined life, a person being subject to powers greater than one’s own human powers would seek self-expression – just as had the Dark Angels – and fall victim to their influence. Since time immemorial, these Dark Angels had established themselves as gods over men. As malevolent deities, they demanded sacrifice, appeasement and enslavement of the human intellect. In exchange for such worship, they offered material wealth and power. The result of their rule, then as now, could be observed on all levels of human activity and in the transitory nature of life in a degenerate world by any enlightened member of the Order.

First Day of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere

For those of you living in the Northern Hemisphere, Happy Solstice! Today, as promised, we will quote once more from The Book of God’s Revelation as it pertains to The Four Newly Created Tables of the Law and The Twelve Newly Created Principles of Divine Law. Please remember that these written words have deep meaning and are very profound. However, it is more important to understand that they have deeper meaning, and one receives deeper knowledge and understanding of the Prophecies and Revelations as one progresses in The System of Cosolargy and is exposed to the Oral Teachings of The Sacred College of Jamilian Theology.

“Those peoples who acknowledge the Divine Order of a New Creation and consent to be governed by God will exist in a State of Union under the supreme authority of God’s Immutable Divine Law, and as a mutable race they will evolve into a New People to inherit a transformed world.” And the Voice of the Divine Presence divulged to the Consciousness of The Man’s Soul the meaning of the Four Tables of the Law newly created by God to be taught to the Ordained in the Holy Institutions of Learning. The Voice revealed that the Books of the Law, which had been sealed and not understood in former ages and up the present age, were now opened by God for understanding in the Second Advent.

And the Voice continued speaking to The Man’s Soul, “As the Supreme Lawmaker of the Creation, God is the source of Divine Law which is maintained by the force of The Image and Word. God does aread, therefore, that the unwritten Code of the Law be codified on earth for the emancipation of the human race. Twelve newly created Active Principles of Divine Law of God’s New Covenant, subordinative to the Lights of God and to the Tables of the Law, yet instruments of the Divine Plan for human redemption, are decreed to be in force upon confirmation.

“The human Spirit under the Law and in Union with Light is recreated in The Image of God and made a living Soul imbued with God’s Word. As the embodiment of the Renewal of Creation, all living spiritual Souls are the first to benefit from God’s Redemption. Redeemed from the earth, made immortal, and in harmony with the Divine Will of God, these Souls long for God’s Visitation in the Glory that was at the First Advent. God’s Divine Will dictates that every reborn Soul labor for the redemption of the whole of Creation.”

And the Voice of The Divine Presence revealed to The Man’s Soul the arcanum of The Twelve newly created Active Principles of Divine Law, instructing him to codify the Law to be given to the Ordained of God’s Ministry, and to deposit the Principles, together with the Statutes, Judgements, Ordinances, Precepts, Concepts, Institutes, Commandments of the Ark of Light, and the whole of the Revelation, in the Tabulary of the Sanctuary in order to preserve all as a sacred inheritance of instruction for the races, lest they forget that God’s Light is given for a healing of Souls.

With this revelation, The Man’s Soul returned to him on the Sanctuary grounds on that seventh day which was as an eighth day by the reckoning of Heaven. The Cross of Enlightenment appeared luminous over the face of the sun, a pure white Light formed by seventy colors as a Seal of the Book of God’s New Law. And the Temple Mount was blanketed in Light, and the stones were lit by that Light.

The Man came down from the heights above the Temple Mount to the plain of mounts. And the staff became heavy, far too heavy for the strength of his hand. A whirlwind arose; swirling about him, it thrust the staff from his grasp. Separated from the rod of juniper wood, the insignia struck the ground. As The Man looked at the headless staff with alarm and trepidation, he heard the Voice of The Word manifest in The Image in his Soul saying, “Lest you forget that all earthly authority passes away in time, remember that God’s Light is the True Rod of the Law. The Sign of that Light appears in Heaven beyond the reach of earthly elements and the hand of man, who has destroyed the works of former Lawgivers and Teachers, and robbed the human races of their inheritance.

“Yet, God, as Supreme Lawmaker and Saviour of the human Spirit, mends and heals all error.”

I truly hope you find inspiration and wisdom from these passages. Understanding, Knowledge and Wisdom come in three forms: first, the written word; then, the Oral Teaching; and finally the Word of God – the Logos – manifest in one’s Heart and Soul.
