WEEKLY MESSAGE: February 6, 2019

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

February 6, 2019
Manifestation of The Comforter (1962)
& Culmination of the Second Advent Vigil

As we conclude this year’s annual observance of the passing of The Child, Jamil (January 29/30); the Birth of the Sun of Righteousness (February 2); and the Manifestation of The Comforter (February 6), following the Manifestation of the Anti-Christ (February 4) – events that transpired in 1962 – we should be reminded that God henceforth will not conceal Himself. God’s Presence has imbued the Sun to speak to the spirits of men and women of Light in Light. Through His Image and Word, Man may know that God’s Judgements, Statutes, Laws and Doctrines are Good. He has given us spiritual Bread from Heaven – the Bread of Life – to eat, which is the Image of His Being. And He has given us spiritual Truth from Heaven – the Word of His Being – to drink.

As we begin a new liturgical year of the Sacred Calendar, let us re-dedicate ourselves to God and the Light and strive to turn from the world and its ways. Let the Righteous look upon the Image of His Countenance and hold to The Way of Righteousness. No one – indeed no nation – can ignore God’s Judgement, a judgement that is Just and Right and which illuminates the whole of Creation. The Righteous have prayed throughout millennia for this Judgement. The wicked disbelieve it. But none should fear it, for it is Righteousness and Goodness.

The races of the Earth, being mortal, are cursed from the womb. They are under the Powers of Darkness who first turned our ancestors away from God. But now, with the Appearance of God’s Image and Word manifest in the Sun of Righteousness, we, the Righteous, may turn to God’s Mercy and rejoice in our Salvation. Darkness shall in due time perish with God’s Presence manifest, and all wickedness will be erased. The nations and peoples of the Earth are pledged to return to God’s Way, for He shall recover the remnant of those who truly love Him – the living who are on Earth and all the spirits of the Universe of Being who have awaited His Coming and, with it, their rescue from Darkness.

God shall give new life of Soul to all spirits. Recalled by His Word, they shall see His Image. And out of His love for His created, God shall restore afresh and anew that which Darkness took away, for He is the God of the Living, never having caused death to any living creature. Within the womb of His Being, God will conceive new life for Righteous Spirits who love and obey Him. And they shall be born as New Souls created in God’s Image and filled with His Word, a New Generation of Spirits come forth out of all former generations of flesh to inhabit a New World of Spirit. And they will have no memory of suffering, pain, sorrow or death.

This is the promise of God come again at His Second Advent.

Once again, if I may be of any personal service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Very truly yours in Light+,

Gene

WEEKLY MESSAGE: January 29, 2019

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

January 29, 2019
Midnight Passing of The Child, Jamil (1962)

It is good to be writing to you again. I apologize for the delay since my last communication, however, things gave been very active here at the Community Center during and since the Christmas-Epiphany Season and Vigil.

I would like to focus today on the Second Advent Vigil which begins in earnest tonight, January 29th at midnight. It has been my lifelong habit to read the book, Jamil: Child of Light, especially the last three chapters (25-27): “The Child Returns to the Worlds of Light,” “At the Sepulcher,” and “The Sun of Righteousness Proclaimed,” which describe the events that took place some 57 years ago.

Tonight at midnight is when The Child, Jamil, passed in 1962. I have shared with you previously a ritual of mine which I have observed every year since I was about ten years old. It is very simple. It certainly is not mandatory, but if you like, you may also do it somewhere in your home, especially at your Cosolargy Shrine, if you have erected one. Again, it is very simple.

As said, The Child, Jamil, passed at midnight on the cusp of January 29/30. So, tonight, after my sunset reflections, I will light a candle and some incense which I place in the Chapel at the Rectory with some fresh flowers. For those of you who have a picture of Jamil, you may want to place these in front of his image. I then read the Jamil book. If you do not have time to read the whole text, please do read the last three chapters. Of course, I will observe sunrise tomorrow morning, keeping Jamil in mind. This is a small act that, as a Jamilian and a member of his Order, reminds me of his life on Earth and is a small gesture of honor and respect. I do this not as a matter of worship, but it may be something you may like doing, as well.

As did Christ Jesus, Jamil teaches us that universal love is the first requirement of the peacemaker. In order to love in this way, the peacemaker must follow the Way of Light. By so doing, he or she partakes of great spiritual blessings and benefits that are bestowed and extended by God through the Sun of Righteousness and its manifold aspects. If we reflect love and peace on the human level, then we can begin reflecting love and peace on the divine level. By so doing, we benefit by that loving and the reciprocation of that love, for indeed love is the food of the Soul that enables us to live the life of righteousness and goodness. The righteous and good are wise in the Way of God.

We here at the Community Center in Nevada will be observing the sunrise vigil from Saturday, February 2 through Wednesday, February 6. Next year, the sunrise vigil will be increased from five to eight days, beginning on the morning of the 30th of January and culminating on the 6th of February. In addition, a brand new Remembrance of The Child Service will be initiated on the evening of Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in the Chapel of the Holy Child.

I hope you will join me and others in the Sun at this, the most important time in the liturgical calendar of the Second Advent Church Community. I will be in touch again very soon.

Once again, if I may be of any personal service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Very truly yours in Light+,

Gene
