A lot of people are not aware of know this, but every edition of the Community Communique in our possession from 1971 to the present is archived online. Where? Right here at communitycommunique.net.

If you go into the “From the Archives” category under “SPECIAL REPORTS” and click on the last page in the archives, you will be taken to the earliest dated post in our online archive: October 1971. There you will find a facsimile copy of the “Cosolargy Report” from that month, which you can read online or download and print. From there, through a series of links, you will be led through every edition of the communiques we have all the way up to 2009.

The “Community Communique” has been published in several different forms over the years. And some years, not at all. Here is a quick rundown:

From 1971 through 1992, you will find PDF facsimiles of all the print editions we have in our archive.

From 1971 to April 1972, the communiques were one-page monthly reports.

After that, four-page news reports were published under various names until 1974, when the name “Community Communique” appeared for the first time. This has been the title of our Community newsletter since that time.

But the form of the Community Communique has changed over the years. The newsletter was first published as a four- page newsletter from 1974 through Spring 1982.

Then in Fall 1982, the publication expanded. More pages were added as time went on. Along with that came more pictures and longer, more detailed articles. The print edition went on in this format for ten years, from 1982 through 1992.

From Spring 1993 through Winter 1994, the Communique was not printed in any format. We have tried to make up for that in our online edition by providing electronic remakes of articles for those years that never appeared in print. You will find them in the archives marked with a photo of Bishop Gene Savoy Sr in vestments and with this notice:

NOTICE: The Winter 1992 edition was the last Community Communique published until the Spring 1995 edition. From Spring 1993 through Winter 1995, the quarterly publication of The Community Communique was on hiatus, picking up again with the Spring 1995 issue. For this reason, you will not find archive copies of the print Community Communique from Spring 1993 through Winter 1994. However, we are providing coverage of Community events for this season in the collection of articles you will find below.

In 1995 the print edition of the Communique was again published for about another year, until Summer 1996.

The Summer 1996 edition was the last Community Communiqué published until the Winter 2007 edition. For this reason, you will not find archived copies of the Community Communiqué from Fall 1996 through Fall 2007. For these years you will find major events from each season of those years described briefly in a short post.

The Communique appeared in a print edition again from Winter 2007 to Winter 2008, and this time with color photographs.

Since 2009 the Community Communique has been published as an online weekly newsletter. In its present form, we publish five or six posts weekly for an annual total of about 200-300 posts per year. To date nearly 2000 articles of various kinds and lengths are posted online. Every one of them is accompanied by photos, and a number of them are photo galleries. We have also published longer articles in serial form from week to week. These you will find in the Insight and Perspective sections. And we welcome submissions from Community members.

However, we do have one problem with our archive of past editions of the Communique: We do not have every single edition in our possession. This is where some of our long-time Community members, particularly those who have been members since the early 1970s, can help to fill the gaps. Our archive is missing a number of editions from 1971-1975. If you are a long-time Cosolargist, check your collection and if you find an edition we do not have please send us a copy of what we are missing.

The International Community of Christ is now advertising both its chapels as wedding venues for Reno residents.

The Chapel of the Roses at the Steamboat Healing Center and The Chapel of The Holy Child on Ralston Street in downtown Reno are now being offered through the Wedding Library retail store at the Summit Shopping Center in South Reno.

The Wedding Library provides the Church with visibility through its web site and retail outlet.

CHAPEL OF THE HOLY CHILD

The International Community of Christ’s Chapel of the Holy Child is an elegant chapel with tile and wood decor. Skylights lend a bright and airy atmosphere to the Chapel. It is a classic wedding setting for those who wish for a religious ceremony. We are non-denominational and provide services for any couple. The Chapel will accommodate up to 80 people and is located near downtown Reno. Our ministers are highly trained professionals who will make your special day one to remember.

Steamboat Hot Springs and Healing Center’s Chapel of the Roses is a quaint and charming venue for small weddings. The Chapel has a turn- of- the -century look, with rose motif stained glass windows, deacon’s chairs and old style chandeliers. The Chapel will accommodate up to 30 people for any type of wedding. Our trained ministers can assist you with planning your special day. Steamboat offers a wedding reception area situated along the banks of Steamboat Creek with a beautiful view of the Virginia foothills and additional outdoor space available in warm weather. The sounds of nature are the background for your reception.

The 2017 international Sound Healing Forum was hosted by Cosolargy International in Reno, Nevada, September 8-10. The main presenters included Dr. Karl Maret, Bruce Kanzelmeyer, Master Yukinori Matsushita, and Dr. Gary Robert Buchanan.

Dr. Buchanan, Director of Wave Front BIOresonance Research & Development at Steamboat Healing Center, presented this lecture on “Cymatics, Sonatherapy, and Cosolargy: Archetypal Images of Sound & Light.” The presentation was a reprise of the same talk given to the International Light Association at the Annual Conference in Fort Lauderdale, during May, 2017.

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Reno, Nevada

Bishop gene Savoy Jr. attended as visiting clergy on behalf of the International Community of Christ to witness the consecration of Trinity Episcopal Church in Reno from church to cathedral. The Right Reverend Dan Edwards of the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada presided along with the Very Reverend William Stompske who was raised from the position of rector to dean. Approximately 30 choristers, 15 Episcopal clergy, and 100 lay people attended the ceremony.

Judge Patrick Flanagan

Funeral Mass was held for Judge Patrick Flanagan (1953-2017) on October 12, 2017 at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Reno, Nevada. Bishop Gene and Radhelka Savoy attended the service.

Flanagan, chief judge of Washoe County District Courts, was an acquaintance of Bishop Savoy and much admired by him.

His legal career began after graduation from California Western School of Law in 1978. Moving to Reno after graduation to work as a Washoe County Appellate Public Defender. As a Federal Public Defender he appeared in front of the US Supreme Court in Sumner v. Shuman (1987) and numerous Ninth Circuit court appearances.

Flanagan’s obituary states: “He was a formidable champion for a fair, unbiased and just legal system. He never wavered in his pursuit for justice and quality legal services for all people regardless of money, citizenship, race, age, or religion. Prior to his death, he was pursuing his Masters in Law with a final thesis on expanding the role of Paralegals to assist the underserved community with mediation and pre-trial services. Throughout his legal career he was dedicated to upholding our Constitution and improving the legal system for all.”

The Reverend Canon Gary Buchanan has been invited to speak at the 2017 conference of the International Light Association, to be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from April 29th through May 3rd. Cosolargy International President Gene Savoy Jr and his wife Radheka will also be attending the conference.

Gary was invited to speak by the president of the organization, Anadi Martel, whom Gary met in Bulgaria at the 11th Annual Water Conference held in Sofia October 6-9, 2016. Mr. Martel offered Gary space to talk about any and all aspects of light, including “higher sciences,” but advised him to create a bridge with more mainstream science through clinical and case studies when possible and asked Gary to devote a bit of time to Cymatics and the wonderful images and videos of sound resonance which he saw Gary present in Bulgaria. Gary’s time slot is for 75 minutes, including a questions period. His talk, the final presentation on the final day of the conference, will serve as final summation and conclusion to the week-long gathering.

Members of the board of the International Light Association include internationally situated physicists and many others. Dr. Jacob Liberman, who spoke at the 2012 “Spiritual State of the World Conference” in Reno is also the board and will evidently be presenting this year. Dr. Jim Oschman, also a speaker at a number of the “Spiritual State of the World” conferences sponsored by Cosolargy International, has presented at the International Light Association conference in the past. Others presenters will include Gerald Pollack, director of the EZ water conference in Bulgaria, and Fritz Albert Popp, pioneer in biophotons. There will also be numerous individuals involved in sun-gazing and photo-syntonics, light medicine and related technologies, and the study of ancient religions of the east. The 2017 conference of the International Light Association promises to be a good meet-up with people who may be interested in the principles taught by Cosolargy International. This conference may also establish inroads to other conferences and the groups that sponsor them.

The ILA’s purpose is to create a bridge between the scientific and the energy aspects of light, and participants include people working with both mainstream light medicine and more esoteric traditions. The Cosolargy Institute in Japan (CIJ) recently completed several new translations of Community books.

CIJ began offering the 24-month program Academy Symposium to the first group of Japanese students on February 2, 2010. The first group of Japanese student finished the 2 year program “Academy Symposium” in 2012. A while later, the Japanese Community prepared to publish Japanese editions of several books related to Cosolargy.

Since 2012 was the 50-year cycle after the appearance of the Sun of Righteousness in1962, the Community in Japan thought it was a very good time to begin publishing these books for the public in the year celebrating the 50-year cycle. They started publishing the following year, in 2013.

Because the Institute of Cosolargy Japan is prohibited from any business transaction, in order to protect our teachings Cosolargy Japan consigns, publish, and distributs all Japanese edition books through E-Ma. Sound Corporation, which is the sound therapy company of Bishop Yukinori Matsushita.

The first book published by the Japanese Community was Project X: The Search for the Secrets of Immortality. The publication of this book was followed by a second book, Jamil: Child of Light, and a third book, Prophecy of the End Times. All these books represented the physical body, the psychic body, and the Light (Spiritual) body in various ways.

The Community if Japan picked publication dates for these books that were connected with the author, Gene Savoy Sr. For example, May 11 was his birthday and August 8th was the first time he spoke about Cosolargy in public to the people in United States of America, and the anniversaries of these dates were used as dates of publication.

Marie Momoi, a professional translator, is also a Japanese student of Cosolargy, and it is she who translated two of the books recently published in Japan, Project X: The Search for the Secrets of Immortality and the The Lost Gospel of Jesus.

Bishop Yukinori Matsushita, translation supervisor, made some valuable comments in the foreword to the new Japanese edition of the The Lost Gospel of Jesus. A translation appears below:

Japan is making big social changes as the Tokyo Olympics approach in 2020. It might be God’s blessing that we are able to publish this book in this time. The story of Jesus is not quite familiar in Japan. Here Christian churches are looked upon as places where people can study in English or hold a Christmas Service or study a little bit in Japanese about the Bible. But we can find stories about Kobo-Daishi or Prince Shook that are similar to the story of Jesus. Kobo-Daishi preached about “Sokushinbutsu,” which can be interpreted to mean, “the possibility of creating a Buddha body while alive.” Jesus also said, “Unless a man be born again of fire and water, he will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” So we can find commonality between both stories.

Originally the teaching of Jesus Christ was a teaching of Light — walking in Light, living in Light, or living The Way to enter the Worlds of Light. But these teachings were given orally and do not exist in written form because these teachings are paradoses, prohibited to be told outside the school and never to be printed. This book, The Lost Gospel of Jesus, provides an explanation of the paradosis teaching. There is a book called The Child of Light written about how this teaching came into the this world at this time. I recommend reading The Child of Light if you are interested.

The translation of the present book, Lost Gospel of Jesus, was very difficult because there is not much information about Jesus in Japan. But translator Marie Momoi researched very carefully and found much information through her efforts. I am very grateful for her hard work and determination. The original edition of The Lost Gospel of Jesus: Hidden Teaching of Christ was written by Gene Savoy Sr. in 1978. This book gave great inspiration to people to seek the teachings of Light in English-speaking counties. I hope this Japanese edition of the book conveys the true teaching of Jesus to Christian seekers in Japan looking for truth in this modern age.
