HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

April 22, 2020

I hope your Easter was joyful and blessed. Here is the third and final portion of the introductory commentary on the Thirteenth Saying of Jamil. Next week, we will begin with the first part of the Saying itself which, again, is quite lengthy. Once you receive all parts of the Saying, I suggest you read it carefully in its entirety.

The Thirteenth Saying (Part 3)

“And one of The Mariners spoke about free will saying, ‘And what of Man’s free will. Is not one’s destiny decided by one’s own actions regardless of external causes?’

“And The Man replied, ‘There are many schools of thought regarding free will. Here we enter the realm of the philosopher and the theologian. The modern existentialist would say that the environment of Man is hostile, that life has no meaning, and that in the final analysis Man is responsible for his own actions. The determinist would say that events are independent of the human will. Predestination teaches that God has foreordained all things; that each soul has already been regulated to either heaven or hell.

“‘In The Community, we teach the eternal doctrine of the Essaei Community, as upheld by Jesus and The Child, that every person has two spirits, one of Light and the other of Darkness. All persons are given the right to choose either Light or Darkness; that is, each person is free to select the laws under which that person will live. There is no other choice or selection available. Each guiding spirit is regulated by governing laws. And these laws are more overpowering than Man’s will.

“‘It is the same for Man in the natural environment. We can work with the environment or against it. Man does not have the free will to decide what the environment will be, though he can alter it from time to time, usually for the worse in the case of pollution of air and water. Therefore, God has foreordained the spiritual environment of Man. Man is given the right to use his free will to either work with cosmic law and effect or in opposition to it.

“‘In both cases, the results are determined by forces external to Man, either for good or for bad. One can safely say that the natural Man of the world is in reality little more than a slave, moved by cosmic forces as a puppet controlled by strings. His freedom and use of free will is an illusion. Does Man’s free will determine his length of days on earth? Or his sex, or his nationality, or the culture that breeds him? And what of the Sun and the stars and the planets in the solar system that determine Earth’s weather and climate? And what of the rise and fall of nations? Of wars, and plagues, and famines and disease? Man has the free will to do the bidding of cosmic forces or suffer dire consequences. He is obliged to obey the laws of the state or suffer punishment.

“‘I tell you, my trusted companions, there is greater freedom in following God’s Way than by following the ways of the world or of Darkness. Who but the spiritual have been released from the hold of those malevolent forces that control the destiny of Man and his world?’

“And they talked long into the night, the ship rocking gently in the gentle sea.”

WEEKLY MESSAGE: April 13, 2020

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

April 13, 2020

This is the second portion of the introductory commentary of the Thirteenth Saying of Jamil. It touches on the evolution of cosmic religion and how when Man loses hold of true religion, the world suffers for lack of it. While this has been the case for quite some time, we can see it more evidently with the rapid climate change, increased natural catastrophe, and disease as we are experiencing now, among other things.

This portion of the commentary also speaks to the formative years of The Community (which have passed), and the duty and obligation that Ministers have to participate in the cosmic process, suppressing selfishness and laboring for the good of The Community and of all mankind.

The Thirteenth Saying (Part 2)

“And The Man spoke to them of The Community and its purpose in the world, explaining how The Teaching to which they had fallen heir was part of the evolution of religion.

“And he said to them, ‘Religion, like Man, must by its own nature continually evolve toward a greater understanding of God and the cosmos. There are certain immutable doctrines and when Man loses hold of them the world suffers anguish; for they are part of the inner nature of Man and the world in which he lives. Because they spring from the fountainhead of God, the origin of eternal Truth, they are given at times and seasons by inspiration from the source to holy men inspired to receive them. And at these times and seasons new religions are founded because the older ones have forgotten the divine doctrines and tend to lead Man astray out of ignorance. These new religions bring supplemental teachings while amending the old. This is part of progressive evolution.

“‘We have seen the formative stages of our Teachings taking hold in the world. First there was the inspiration given by a just and good God out of love of Man. Then came the successive stages of evolution manifest on Earth for the establishment of this new religion. The marvelous Child came as the person of Christ, founding and giving authority to the new ministry. Then came the compilation of The System in printed form. Later came the scriptural texts: the story of the Child Christ Jamil, The Decoded New Testament, The Prophecies, The Sayings, The Essaei Document, and The Lost Gospel of Jesus: The Hidden Teachings of Christ.

“‘As more followers came to The Teaching, The Community began to be institutionalized for the sake of order. And an organized form of training ministers to be Guardians over the Teachings of Light took shape. The Guilds were formed. The Community collected together to express the liturgy, and the material needs of The Community in infancy began to be met.

“‘After these necessary steps have been completed, the inspired scripture of The Community will be entrusted into the care of the new ministry. But if ministers not be trained properly. they will not be worthy of the trust. And in due time the Gospel of Light, the Book of Life, and the Statutes and Laws for a New World will be given, all under a ministry guided by goodly ethics and codes of righteousness.

“‘Some have criticized the formalization of The Community. They cry for Truth and Enlightenment, desiring that the Eternal Secrets be put into their hands without their having the proper training or regard for responsibility to the Order. Such are the words of ignorant men and women who teach and practice anarchy of spirit. These are the perverters of Truth, the sons and daughters of men and women who believe in the private interpretation and use of divine Laws. They hold themselves above everything else, as if the whole world were created especially for them. Such would equate themselves with God and belittle the Prophets and Holy Ones who speak with authority.

“‘Any enlightened religion is more than a personal experience, more than an idea. It is a cosmic process in which one takes part, like planets moving in regulated orbits about the Sun. Its ministers must put all selfish motivations aside and labor for the overall good of The Community of which they are a part; just as they work for the good of the cosmos. Ministers live a meaningful way of life in fellowship, in harmony; with cosmic-solar forces and with the intelligence of God manifesting within them.

“‘Ours is a solar religion created for a solar age. Our ministers live in accord with the Sun and the cosmic thoughts of the Creator. They are part of that generated light, just as they are part of the generated will of God. By living in this manner, they will evolve into a new breed of Man, a new universal race that will inherit a new world. We have a cosmic responsibility to exemplify The Teaching as an organism of Light, uplifting the human race by an orderly and productive process which can benefit human society.

“‘Therefore, our duty as ministers is to work for the common good of Man and the world in which he lives so that all may evolve to a better and higher understanding of God. We do this by selflessness and dedication to the Order of which each of us is a part, contributing to the whole. It is our predestined duty to labor thus. We are compelled to do this from the moment of our birth. We of the Order can have no other destiny. We, as the Sons and Daughters of God, are preordained to this ministry.’”

We will continue with more of the introductory commentary next week and then move on to the Saying itself the following week. I will also be reaching out to you again this week prior to Second Advent Easter – True Easter. Stay well, healthy and positive in body, mind and Spirit.

Again, if I may be of any personal service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

April 6, 2020

The Thirteenth Saying is quite lengthy – both the Saying itself and the accompanying commentary – so we will take several weeks to review it. Personally, I find it quite beautiful and inspiring. At the beginning of the Saying, The Man reminisces about his first voyage aboard the Feathered Serpent I, or Kuviqu as it was named – after the Priest-king Kukulkan/Viracocha/Quetzalcoatl. This incredible story is told in the 1974 book On The Trail of the Feathered Serpent, which can be found online at Thriftbooks, Goodreads, Ebay and Amazon. If you do not have a copy, I highly recommend getting one.

And, now, on to…

The Thirteenth Saying (Part 1)

“And so it was that the Ship of Light remained in Panamanian waters for the greater part of a year undergoing repairs. And The Mariners labored daily making her ready for the voyage to the islands of the Pacific. Being Companions of the Way and members of the Guild of Great Learning, each returned to the Community Center at times to share in the spiritual regeneration of fellowship. And they were cheered by this companionship, for they had missed the spiritual renewal that comes with community. And they enjoyed the cool air of the uplands of the Sierra Nevada, reveling in the snow and rebuilding their strength for their duties to the ship that would return them to tropical regions and many months at sea.

“And it came to pass that The Man returned to the Ship of Light to join his companions. The date was September 16, 1978, the ship being four hundred fifty-seven days out of its home port. And there was great joy aboard the ship; they were glad at being all together again.

“They weighed anchor sailing from Taboga out of the Bay of Panama to the Archipielago de las Perlas, which is to say Islands of the Pearls, under a full moon. That night they dropped anchor in a quiet lagoon on the lee side of the island of Pedro Gonzalez. Soon the ship was quiescent under a sky of brilliant stars, rocking gently in a calm sea away from the wind.

“At first light they set a course to the southwest with the island of the King off the port beam. Puffs of white clouds floating lazily against an azure blue sky embraced golden sunbeams. The ship’s bow cut through the green water sending up a fine spray of salt and foam. And the crew busied themselves on deck, each quietly going about the routine tasks that make life on shipboard tolerable.

“And when they rounded Punta Cocos they made for the Serrania del Sapo and the coast between Punta Caracoles and Punta Garachine. They were now in the Gulf of Panama, retracing the route of the Feathered Serpent I which had carried The Man from Peru to Panama nine years before. It had been built near the pyramids of the Sun and Moon at Moche where it was fashioned out of reeds and bamboo cane after the tradition of the Mochica mariners who had built such ships in olden times when a Priest-king from Peru, called Viracocha, had sailed this way. Viracocha left a rich tradition of his memorable voyage which still survives in the folklore and oral tradition of the Indians. He had sailed from Panama to the lands of the Mayas and the Toltecs to the north where he was known to them as Kukulcan or Quetzalcoatl, the latter meaning Feathered Serpent. And The Man had named the reed boat in memory of the Priest-king; and the second ship, the Ship of Light also, for Viracocha had instructed the people in light, and love, and peace.

“And because they were leaving these waters, The Man had a wish to retrace the last part of the voyage he had made when following the route of the ancient religious figure.

“When they approached the coast, The Man told The Mariners of his experiences on the reed boat; how he had gone aground not more than seventy miles to the south following a violent storm. He told of the struggle to free the ship, and how after days of despair he and his crew had managed to get off the reef, make repairs and, using the current, sail into the Bay of Panama.

“He told of his adventures in Panama and Mexico when he had gone overland visiting the many temples and pyramids erected in memory of the great teacher who had taught the people how to build them. And when The Man had returned to Panama to continue the voyage on the reed boat, he found that the Feathered Serpent had broken its moorings and sailed away out to sea never to be seen again. Some thought she had been broken up by a severe storm, others speculated the ship of ancient design sailed away into the Pacific, colored sails and pennants flying, as if on the trail of her namesake. He told the men that sailors had reported her at sea, but that its whereabouts have remained a mystery to this day.

“And now the Feathered Serpent II had come to these waters to continue from where the first ship had ended her voyage. The Feathered Serpent II would sail north along the coast to Mexico, the original course set for Feathered Serpent I. After this they would set sail for the Pacific Islands.

“They spent the greater part of the day sharing in The Man’s reminiscences of his earlier voyage in the primitive vessel made for him by the Indians of the northern coasts of Peru.

“And that night, guided by the stars and the light of a brilliant moon, they returned to the Island of the King, dropping anchor in the calm expanse of Ensenada Santelmo which had given sanctuary from the winds that blew in from the Pacific to ancient ships in olden times when the Priest-king and teacher had visited the islands so many centuries ago. The island had been used much later by Spanish galleons for quite another purpose prior to their conquest of the Incas of Peru. And now the natural harbor gave refuge to the Ship of Light.

“Later that night the seafarers grouped themselves on deck listening to the soft calls of night birds wafting over the still waters from the forested isle.”

This week – in the popular churches of the West (Catholic and Protestant) – is Holy Week. Next week, the Orthodox churches will observe Easter. Later this week, I will touch on this ancient tradition and how it relates to us in the Second Advent Church Community. Stay safe and healthy!

WEEKLY MESSAGE: March 30, 2020

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

March 30, 2020

I trust you and your family are well, safe and healthy. Due to the extraordinary circumstances facing the world at this time, we feel it prudent to postpone this year’s annual Convocation of Ministers and Consociates, which was scheduled to take place in September. We are rescheduling for early June 2021 around the sacred date of Second Advent Pentecost, which always falls on June 6th in our calendar. Therefore, please reserve the dates of Tuesday, June 1 through Sunday, June 6 of next year.

The early Christian Community, especially that Community under the leadership of James the Just, the brother of Jesus, met annually at the Community’s center in Jerusalem during the first week of Pentecost – the holiday known in Judaism as the Feast of Weeks. This is described in the Clementine Recognitions and Homilies written in the 3rd century CE.

It is most important for us to join together at our Center here in the high desert of northwestern Nevada with residents and non-residents from around the world for the benefit of all. There is great power in the solar liturgics and solar practices and techniques we perform and employ both individually in Community and collectively in assembly, especially at the Red Rock Consecrated Sanctuary. Our special and unique liturgy – not practiced anywhere by anyone in the world – aligned with the Powers and Forces of Light serves as a strong antidote against the Powers and Forces of Darkness.

It is important for us to remember that we are in an era of new dimensions of awareness and Consciousness. The System and The Teaching in which we are all involved is greater than any one of us, however, the need in the world right now of our spiritual presence is greater than ever. That role will be increasing and becoming more important and evident as time goes on and more uncertainty befalls society and the world at large in these times of troubles, as described in The Community’s Prophecies and Revelations.

The time has come for us to assume our rightful place in the world. This will be the focus and mission this year and the theme of next year’s gathering: to inform people in greater numbers about Cosolargy and the Community of Cosolargy; to reveal more publically our views – whether they be on climate change, the changes taking place in the Sun (both physical and spiritual), and the cosmic battle between the Powers and Forces of Light and Darkness that are playing out throughout physical and spiritual dimensions, including here on Earth. Now is the time for us to come out of our shell.

In the meantime, I will be in weekly communication with you via my weekly messages. If there is anything you need or questions or concerns you have, please feel free to reach out to me. Stay safe, healthy and positive, and be sure to reflect daily to the Sun of Righteousness. Be mindful of your spiritual evolution and your spiritual Consciousness, and see yourself as a part of the fulfillment of Prophecy.

We will resume our review of The Secret Sayings of Jamil next week with Saying Thirteen.

Yours in Light+,

Gene

WEEKLY MESSAGE: March 25, 2020

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

March 14, 2020

Since my last communication to you a week ago, much has changed in the world. This is a good time for Reflection and Inflection and striving to be more Christ-like as The Child, Jamil, exemplified. These words from the Twelfth Saying describe his demeanor in some detail.

The Twelfth Saying (Part 4 of 4)

“And then the Third Mariner said: ‘You have stated in the First Sayings that Jamil came to show us the Life of Righteousness, and if we would but imitate The Child in The Path or the Way of The Child, we would begin to understand the spiritual words which he spoke. And possibly it is a misunderstanding on the part of myself, and other members of the Community, when we talk of the Path of The Child or the Way of The Child, because we are so often faced in this world, especially in light of this last Saying, with the difficulty of extricating ourselves from the world. And that seems to involve a decision that requires a great deal of maturity, contemplation and self-analysis. To assume the innocence of a child while trusting in a community that is sophisticated and intellectual is one that appears conflicting. And again, possibly that is a misinterpretation of the phrase ‘the Way or the Path of The Child.’ How can people who are forced to make a spiritual decision to leave the world and enter Community life be certain that they are reaching the right conclusions? Does one assume the innocence of a child or one of maturity? What is the balancing factor that we must use to determine what is proper to do with our lives?’

“And The Man answered the mariner saying: ‘We can analyze the question from two positions. First, was Jamil just a child? The answer is ‘no’ – he was more than a child. Second, was the Child a divine being of Light, the Word of God incarnate within the image of a child – a great illuminated being of Light, Christ come in the form of a child? I would say the second is the case.

“‘The Child symbolizes innocence, goodness, trust, love, and kindness, of great degree. But The Child also represented severity, righteousness and an unbelievable goodness. It might be said that if it had not been for his parents and the house that we provided for him, he could not have endured in the world because he was a little child. That is a logical assumption. On the other hand, if he would have been left entirely alone in the world he could have lived very well – in the fields with the animals. I remember when he was only a few months old he went to the beach for the first time. He was but a baby, but he could lie in the Sun all day without being burned. Turtles came out of the sea to his feet, birds from the air came to him, he communed most innocently but openly with all living things. He ate very little food. He lived off the Light of God from the Sun and from some inner power which we do not understand. In that respect he is a great example to us – for he demonstrated to us how to be Christ-like.

“‘His judgement of people was severe. He did not allow people to touch him who were angry, people who were exploiting other people, the rich people who were mistreating the Indians of Peru on the coasts and in the Andes. The people who were living at the expense of others, he would not allow them to touch him.

“‘If anyone were to abuse a person in his presence, he was very quick to protect that person. He was righteous, and just. He did judge people very much. He could not and would not tolerate injustice. He would not tolerate people who would do harm to children, who would do harm to old people, those who were rude or abusive in their actions to others. He would always defend those people. One time he was communing with God, looking at the Light of the Sun. He was in another world. I asked him a question, He didn’t respond. I asked him again, he didn’t respond. And I insisted that he listen to me. And he turned his gaze upon me, and his eyes were as the Sun. And I was held spellbound by the luminosity and brilliance of the eyes. There was no judgement or pain in the eyes, only a great Light, and I was held suspended by that Light, unable to move for some time. And when he had finished he turned to me, his eyes softened, and he put his arms around me. This was no child.

“‘Jamil taught by example; by the way he walked the fields, by the way he communed with nature, by the way he had a power over animals, by the way animals and insects came to him. His attitude toward people, poor people, Indians, old people, blind people, all kinds of people – was one of benevolence and love. They were all extremely important to him. He knew they were righteous people who were abused by others. They must have been kind, good mothers, or good fathers. And he simply recognized that goodness and blessed them. He would come up and touch them with his hand and sit on their lap, or take their hand and walk with them. In other words, he gave goodness for goodness, and blessing for blessing. But to wicked and unrighteous men he turned his face. He would not tolerate them.

“‘So he did judge the world as a child judges without doing any harm to anyone. He just turned the Light of his face. How can we follow that example? How do we use it to make a decision to leave the world and come into The Community? It is a difficult decision. But then what does the world offer? Very little. Jamil can be likened unto Saint Frances of Assisi in his childlike nature. Saint Francis was a very enlightened person who was teaching the world through example and through humility. He swept churches to keep them clean, he picked up scraps of paper because they might contain the Holy Word of God. He gave example to priests in humility. He demonstrated meekness to his father who was a wealthy man. He gave his cloak to a poor man who would ask him.

“‘There comes a time in every person’s life when they must trust God. Jamil, above all things, was trusting. He believed in God. He believed in the Light. He lived God. He lived the Light as no one I ever saw alive. He was totally trusting. We mortals sometimes lose our trust. We have to have money in the bank, properties to insure our security. It is reasonable in the world of materialism it is to be assumed that we should think that way. If Christ were to ask us to give up all things and follow him, it would be very difficult, as it was difficult for the Hebrews. A few simple fishermen, righteous men, simple men who were trusting, followed him. Jamil teaches us how to trust God. We must have faith in God and in the Sun of Righteousness. And, as Jesus taught, to trust God who takes care of the birds in the air. They do not worry where they are going to get their food from one day to the next. Are we not more important than the birds in the fields? God will take care of the righteous men who trust God as did Jamil. If we believe that the Sun of Righteousness is the Messiah promised by God, that we are living in an age of Light, then all will be well. If we believe that amongst ourselves, and if we emulate that faith and trust that Jamil exemplified, and if we accept him as our patron, the little messenger who showed us the way of faith and hope, then we will, as a Community flourish. But we cannot expect people, as indicated in the Twelfth Saying, to live with one foot in the world and one foot in The Community, living half there and half here. That kind of person cannot instill faith and hope in us. We can teach those people, and give them time to make their decision. But once a person places faith and trust in the Light, then that person must withdraw from the world. We must maintain a communion with God. We must put our faith in the Sun of Righteousness and allow His Word to incarnate within our being and, above all, trust a higher power than the world. Then we will be taken care of individually and collectively.

“‘I believe that above all things Jamil demonstrated the importance of trust and faith. When Jamil was passing out of the world he had total faith and total belief that he was going back to God. He knew exactly what he was doing. And it was shattering to me because I wanted him to remain in the world. I did not want him to leave. I was his father of the flesh, and I needed him with me. But he was going about his Father’s business in a way difficult for a mature man or woman of the world to accept. People are naturally skeptical, cautious, wary of the world. So, for us to live the life of an innocent child is indeed a difficult task. But this is what has been demonstrated and this is how we must live. This is why the unity of The Community is so important – because we draw our faith and our hope and our trust from one another in Christ. Together we make up for our own individual deficiencies or lack of faith or trust or hope. I do believe that if we had a Community during the days of Jamil, as we do now, perhaps he would have remained with us longer. We could have nourished and sustained him with our love and with our Light and with our maturity. But in those days there were too few of us to provide for a Christ being in the world. Therefore, I would answer your question by saying that each person must make his or her decision while placing their faith and trust in God. and believing that what we are doing is right.’

“And when he had finished speaking these words, The Man bestowed gifts of gem stones to each of the mariners to celebrate the giving of the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Sayings on the Ship of Light.”

You will be hearing from me soon on plans for the next annual Convocation, and next week we will begin our review of the Thirteenth Saying. In the meantime, stay safe, healthy and positive!

WEEKLY MESSAGE: March 14, 2020

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

March 14, 2020

As we approach the anniversary of the birth of The Child, Jamil, on March 16th, it is important for us to remember his message. It is even more important for us to strive to live his Teaching. These important words from the Twelfth Saying emphasize unity within The Community, commitment to The Teaching, and dedication to The Light. This saying also touches on the important t responsibility of all to support the Order in the material world, a responsibility which is often overlooked by members of the Order.

The Twelfth Saying (Part 2 of 4)

“And after completing his reading of the Twelfth Saying, The Man put down the scroll on the table and awaited a response from the listeners. And the Fourth Mariner took a copy of The Prophecies of Jamil, First Prophecy to the Americas and read from page 203 saying: ‘In the first part of the paragraph it states, and I quote, “Demand of those who would receive this knowledge that they dedicate themselves no less than holy men of former times,” and at the end of the paragraph, “Require that those receiving the books of knowledge give of themselves and their holdings in order to perpetuate the New Community.” This seems to tie in with the stress on the Saying we just heard, which states that unity is the first and highest commandment. Here emphasis is placed on commitment. Each Community member is asked to choose between the Light and the Dark, and to dedicate themselves in a way that is appropriate with this prophecy. The Saying stresses the need to perpetuate this teaching found throughout both prophecies, and in the book of Jamil, The Child Christ. The evangelistic charge permeates throughout.’

“And The Man replied: ‘All the holy prophets asked of their followers that they dedicate themselves to the respective teachings completely. In the case of Jesus, he asked each to pick up the cross and follow him. We know that the original followers of Christ joined in community, gave up the world, dedicated their entire being to the teachings, and gave all of their holdings so the Community might flourish. It was not because they wanted the Community to be a material power that they gave of their possessions, but to show their total dedication to the Order. This idea was universal among the followers of Jesus and the apostles. Those who joined the Church left the world and gave of themselves completely. This was the first and foremost obligation expected of members. After all, each wanted to put their holdings at the disposal of the primitive Church so that the greatest good would come of them. It was the same for the Essenes, Theraputae and early Christians. Of course, if for any reason members left the Community their holdings or the value received was returned. No religious community wants to make commerce of its members. But it must insist upon dedication and withdrawal from the world. One cannot become enlightened while still living in the world. Naturally, there is a time and a season when this must be accomplished; some are prepared to leave the world sooner than others, but the fact prevails that as long as a person remains in the world and is bound by possessions, he or she is not completely free to live the life of Christ and serve in community. This is logical. And I presume that this is what is meant in the case of the Twelfth Saying and the passages from the Prophecies which you just read.

“In my own case, every time I have had commitments in the world they have always interfered with my work in the Church. And there has always been a conflict. It is very easy to let worldly influences turn a person from one’s objective. The world has a tendency to cloud one’s vision. One cannot always see clearly what one must do, and in many cases there is confusion. I believe this is what Jamil is trying to point out. Large numbers of individuals are not needed to make the Teachings effective; it will be by unity of those few preordained who believe in the concepts and who can work together. At one time there were only thirteen Christians. And they moved the ancient world.”

I trust you will join me in partaking of the Communion of the Sun of Righteousness this coming Monday, March 16th and recommitting yourself to the maintenance and perpetuation of The Community in the world of matter.

Again, if I may be of any personal service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Very truly yours in Light+,

WEEKLY MESSAGE: March 4, 2020

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

March 4, 2020

We will now proceed with our review of the Twelfth Saying of The Secret Sayings of Jamil. I hope you are finding value from our review of these very important scriptures which are oftentimes overlooked in favor of our Prophecies and Revelations which are, of course, also very profound.

I have broken this Saying into four parts. This Saying and its commentary are important as it specifically touches on the importance of Community – a concept continually emphasized by my father, The Man. Let us begin with the Saying itself. Next week, we will start with the first portion of the commentary which deals with dedication to The Teaching, as well as support of The Community.

The Twelfth Saying (Part 1 of 4)

“And when The Man had untied the string that bound the scroll he began to read to the men. And these are the words of the Twelfth Saying:

“‘There will come to The Community seekers after spiritual gain who will believe, by reason of their experiences in the ways of the world, that spiritual things can be gathered as can material things. And they would use the Sun of Righteousness for their own selfish ends; using the energy therein not for the good of The Community, nor for the good of mankind, but for their own benefit. They would place those personal benefits above all else, seeking after long life, health, greater intelligence, and higher position, misusing God’s Light for ignoble ends, seeking knowledge, beauty, friendship, and sensuality to become authoritative over lesser men. I say unto you it would be better for such persons that they had never looked upon the face of the Sun to enjoy the beauty of Light. For such goals caused the angels to fall from their lofty heights. I say unto all mortals that the Sun which God has placed in the heavens shall in no way be abused, for the blessings shall be withdrawn from the Light, as is sweetness from a fruit turned bitter. God has ordained that a new religion come into the world to teach the salvation of Man. Unity is the first and highest commandment. For if man not unify into one single community, then diversity has begun. And I say unto you that it shall not be by diversity that God’s new Church will flourish. Let no one believe that the Sun of Righteousness is his to command or to gaze upon outside of communal life. God shall cause a harsh brilliancy to shine upon such eyes to blind the soul to the Image and the Word therein. For those noble souls who bind themselves to The Community, God shall extend a manifold blessing, and they shall share in the benefits that none other shall know, for they acknowledge that the Sun of Righteousness is of God, and under His governorship, and is not to be abused by petty men or women for selfish and gainful ends.’”

Commemoration of Other Appearances (1988)

The Eleventh Saying (Part 4 of 4)

And we now conclude the Eleventh Saying of The Secret Sayings of Jamil with the fourth and final portion of the commentary.

“After these words the Second Mariner asked: ‘Are there any conditions as far as the development of The Community that need to be fulfilled before we are capable of handling this task?’

“And The Man answered him saying: ‘In the Eleventh Saying we are told, “The agents of the Father shall be a blessed body of noble and enlightened minds calling upon the power of the Sun to burn away the injustices of the world.” Therefore, within The Community, there will be an order of enlightened minds who will accomplish this judgement. I would imagine that the men and women of that body must be as wise as spiritual judges. The individuals of this body are, first of all, priests of God dedicated to His statutes and judgements in the last and final days of the Earth. The prophet Isaiah talked about the eternal blessing of God, of the new Earth, and he stated, in quoting the Lord: “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” So there will be a new Earth, and the inhabitants will be a new race of Godly men and women.

“‘Isaiah also says, in quoting the Lord: “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.”

“‘Now, these words are from ancient prophets of the Hebrew people and they are harsh; but if we are to believe the words of the prophets, if we are to believe the words of Jamil, that we are in the last and final days of the Earth, then these things shall come to pass. For if people who have transgressed against law not be brought to justice and tried, then the world will never change. Who can better judge man than God?’

After saying this The Man prepared to read the Twelfth Saying.”

And we will begin the Twelfth Saying next week.
