Incidentally, I was asked this week from a member of The Community about the dark state of the world and of the United States in particular and what role our Church, the True Church of Christ, plays at this time. I think when we are done reviewing the Seventeenth Saying in its entirety, the answer to that question will be clearer.

The Seventeenth Saying (Part 1)

After a short pause, The Man took the second scroll in hand and, loosening the ribbon that tied it, began to read.

“And these are the words of the Seventeenth Saying:

The health of the material sun is dependent upon the thoughts and actions of the family of mankind. If the sun is diseased. it is because the races and the nations of the world have contributed to its ill health. For the sun, too, is a living thing. Its cure remains within the power of the righteous members of the Order.

Let this truth be kept unto the Order, for it is the healing of the sun that should concern members and not the speaking of it which is of little avail.

Only the dedication of the ordained can restore the sun to health by use of the secret formulas I have entrusted into your care.

“With this reading, The Man put away the second scroll as he had the first. And the men fell into an open discussion of the Sayings. But when the sea freshened under a stiff breeze, The Man had them hoist the anchor, instructing them to return the ship to its berth before the setting of the sun. He promised to speak more of the Sayings on the morrow.

“And a second rainbow, more splendorous than the first, formed in the heavens against a background of billowing clouds that rolled down upon the sea from the mountain heights.

“When the anchor was weighed, they made sail, making for the marina. And when they ran the vessel into Honolulu Channel and entered the harbor on the south side of Sand Island, away from the boiling sea, shafts of light cast by the setting sun illuminated the mountains. Then the sun sank into the blue sea, radiating a burst of emerald green. “Once in port, The Man and The Mariners returned to the company of the Companions of Light.

“And on the day following, The Man, seeing the weather to be unfavorable, went in company with The Mariners to Aiea Heights overlooking Pearl Harbor to an ancient temple once used by the Kahuna priests of old for healing. And when they had seated themselves among the broken stones under the spreading canopy of a creeping and twisted Hau tree of heart-shaped leaves, one of The Mariners, the first to present a question on the Sixteenth Saying, besought him saying, ‘If the death of the planet is inevitable unless the sun be cured, when will the signs manifest in our space-time?’

“And The Man answered him and said, ‘This Keaiwa Heiau, or healing temple, was built ages ago in the time of Kakuhihewa. It was administered by the Kahuna, Lappaa Keaiwa, a learned medical priest who possessed mysterious healing powers when used in conjunction with the various healing plants of the kind you see growing on these sacred grounds. Even as this temple is now a ruin due to the loss of the arts and knowledge of the priests, so is the world in a state of decay, for Man has lost sight of the religious arts and sciences held sacred by priests ordained by God to possess them. From this we learn that everything in life has a season.

“All the great world religions have prophesied that at the end times, or at the end of the age, the earth would be destroyed by fire. The destruction of the earth by fire would have its origin in the sun; for if the sun were to die it would experience increased temperature which would destroy the earth in the process.

“According to scientific observation, the sun has become unstable. The expected life of the sun is undetermined. The sun could live for billions, or millions, or thousands of years, or it could die tomorrow. Those of us who have been viewing the face of the sun for decades would say that the sun has become unstable in civilized areas of the world. The sun is very sharp and harsh and difficult to look at in metropolitan centers, while at isolated areas of the earth, such as islands of the seas, jungles, mountains and deserts, the reverse is true. Thus, where there are materialistic people or populated areas, there exists a negative field that affects the sun and, consequently, the earth with harmful results.

“We know that the human mind can affect the sun. Therefore, as Man becomes more materialistic, as religion becomes more helpless to combat the materialism of the earth, the process leading to the sun’s end might be speeded up. Considering these facts, it could happen very quickly, throwing the ecosystem of the sun and earth into chaos.’

“Another Mariner, the second to speak, asked, ‘Could we compare that process prophesied by Jamil, the sun’s extinction or material destruction, to that of a nova or a supernova explosion – that is, the sun increasing in brightness to several times its normal magnitude?’ And The Man affirmed that the secular, scientific explanation of the death of a star could be applied to our own sun.

“And a third Mariner spoke asking, ‘According to the previous prophecies of Jamil, it is the ultimate destiny of the planet to become a fiery orb, as the sun. Naturally, this would spell the end of sentient life as we know it in the material world. Now, how does the fact that the sun is diseased relate to the ultimate destiny of the planet?’

“The Man pondered this question for a moment and then said, ‘If the sun were to increase in brilliance and, consequently, heat, destroying the earth in the process, the earth would end materially. On the other hand, if the earth were to be transformed into a sun by a different process, we would have something else to consider. For example, if the earth were destroyed by the heat of a dying sun, we have a negative event. But, if the earth were to be transformed into a sun by a supernatural process or event, then we have a positive event. The first is to be likened unto death, the second unto life.”

Hello. In continuing our review of The Secret Sayings of Jamil from The Image and the Word series, we move on to The Sixteenth Saying, which is relatively short.

The Sixteenth Saying

“And the Companions of the Way, those in the Islands and others from The Community, waited on the shores for The Man and his ship to appear out of the sea.

“And on the third day of June, 1979, the Day of Pentecost, after a voyage of twenty-two days, the Ship of Light reached the Islands. And it was with great joy that The Man and the Seafarers were received in their midst. And they celebrated with the Islanders, exchanging gifts and bringing good cheer to each other.

“And on the tenth day after their arrival, The Man with The Mariners left their companions and island friends to return to the ship, for The Man felt the voice of Jamil speaking to his inner Spirit and he would be alone with those who had accompanied him on the voyage.

“And they raised sail, thrusting the hull of the Ship of Light into Honolulu Harbor and set course southeast toward Diamond Head. And when they had six fathoms of water under the keel, the anchor was dropped. The Man instructed the seamen to let her lay there for the afternoon in the idyllic surrounding of tropical verdure and cloudy skies blessed by a majestic rainbow broken into a spectrum of six radiant colors.

“And while the white schooner lay at anchor, rocking gently in the glittering swells of the sea, The Man, as master of the ship, called all hands aft for he would speak to them. And when The Mariners were gathered about him, The Man bowed his head in contemplation and fell silent. After a time, The Man raised his head, and withdrawing two scrolls of white paper from his alforja, as was his custom when revealing the Secret Sayings of Jamil, he pulled away a ribbon that bound one of the scrolls. Unfolding it he spoke saying:

“‘And these are the words of the Sixteenth Saying:

The planet, being a living thing upon which all living creatures, including Man, subsist, by necessity draws its nourishment from the sun, thus revealing that all living bodies in the material universe are dependent and have a life span predetermined by events and circumstances manifest in the cosmos that supports them.

Knowing the transitory nature of material things, and being observers of natural phenomena, let the members of the Order note the unmistakable signs that the material sun is diseased. If this condition is not cured, the result will be the death of the planet and the cessation of all living things in the solar system.

Let the members of the Order keep this secret to themselves.’

“After reading these words. he rolled up the scroll and, replacing it in his Indian-designed cotton bag, fell silent again. And this Saying was given on the seven hundred and eighteenth day after the Ship of Light had sailed from its home port on the mainland of America.”

And that is the Sixteenth Saying.

I ask you to please remember in your prayers the Spirit of our Sister in Light, the Reverend Mother Carol Ann Crabb, who passed away last Saturday, October 24th. Carol Ann passed from this world at the same time we were gathered in the Chapel of the Holy Child remembering and honoring our Brother in Light, Gary Buchanan. Carol Ann now joins her Brother in the Realms of Light.

I apologize for the delay in getting this to you. The last few weeks have been particularly busy with the baptism of my son and then the passing of Reverend Gary. We are presently preparing for his memorial service this coming Saturday in the Chapel of the Holy Child.

This is the final portion of the commentary on the Fifteenth Saying of Jamil.

“The Man paused for a moment to allow for more questions, and hearing none he continued saying, ‘Earlier in the day we had a question concerning the preordained and their identities. I can only say that there is a certain kind of person who understands the mystery spoken of in the scripture I just read. Others, no matter how much they read, no matter how often they listen to our words, cannot fathom the mystery, they cannot grasp the meaning. Now, why is this so? My answer is found in the knowledge and belief that at the moment preordained persons are conceived, God touches them – at least He touches certain ones – and quickens them. By that I mean He fills them with the Spirit of Truth. And those persons live a very special life which prepares them for this preordained Teaching of Light. God makes of them very special persons; those persons have charisma. And even though the conception that takes place results in a material body that is tied to the physical world, there still remains the indwelling spirit placed there by God which co-exists with the natural Man.

“‘It appears that we do have a mystery here: which person does God touch? Does He select only certain ones, or does He touch everyone at birth? After all, does not every person have the right of spiritual birth? I would think everyone does. But I do know that people are not born spiritually equal. Some serve God, others do not. Some wish to serve God, others do not. People have different feelings about God and the world in which they live. What makes them different? It is the inner spiritual nature that makes them different. So we have to accept that God does touch certain people. Everyone could not be Jesus or Jamil; they were unique. There is no reason to ask why they were chosen. God works in His own fashion. So let us accept the fact that God does select certain people to serve Him.

“‘This religion of Light, though universal, is not emphasizing numbers. It is a religion that has been formed to be governed by a few people who are intelligent and wise enough to understand and apply it. They are the Guardians of Light, and the guardians of humankind, for they hold the keys to Man’s future. People ask us, as you have asked, whether this religion is for all humankind. All humankind can apply this teaching. But let us be realistic. Not all humankind can understand this teaching, at least not at this time. We know that from our own experiences. Therefore, to maintain the religion we have to build it properly so that it can one day benefit more people. Our major concern should be to live the Teachings in Community, and to preserve them. We are doing no more than carrying on the tradition of the Community under Jesus.

“‘If any of you have doubts that the religion of Jesus was for a select number of people, let me read to you from the New Testament: We speak wisdom among them that are perfect. Yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world that come to naught. But we speak the wisdom of God and a mystery. Even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our glory. Which none of the princes of this world knew, for had they known it they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.

“‘If we can accept this premise, then we have a foundation for understanding. And our task as Guardians of Light is to seek out the preordained, wherever they may be. Since we do not know them by name, we are obliged to reach as many people as we can in order to find the preordained. Once they hear the call, they will follow. The others will not, and no amount of convincing will ever change them.

“‘You might recall from scripture that Jesus led Peter and James and John up to a high mountain, apart from the other apostles and followers, and on that mountain top Jesus was transfigured before them. It was said that his face did shine like a sun and his raiment was white as light. Why the sudden transfiguration? Why did it not take place in his youth, or earlier life? Why on the mountain shortly before his crucifixion? This event tells us something about preordination, something about pre-existence. When God touches a person and places him or her in His service, that person is charged with a way of life. That person becomes a person of destiny with a life to be lived like a story. Nothing can be changed. And when the time comes for the spiritual birth of that person, the spirit implanted within at the moment of conception flowers like a water lily on the day of its opening; something new seen that was always there. Spiritual birth comes at the moment of transition, shortly before making the transit from one world to the next. And this is what is meant by the words of Jesus, You must be born again. I saw this occur with Jamil. His transfiguration was a beautiful thing to behold. No picture could show the beauty. No words could describe it.

“‘On our appointed day, after the long life of service to God, we shall each experience a transfiguration when we are born into another world; immortal, enlightened, freed from the bonds of the earth forever.’

“And The Fourth Mariner asked The Man saying, ‘When shall we take these teachings into the world in order to reach the preordained of God?’ And The Man answered saying, ‘When our work is completed on this ship, we shall begin the Great Teaching.’”

These words are fitting at this time, as we contemplate the passing into the Realms of Light of our Brother in Light, Gary Buchanan. Last Saturday, when I anointed his body with Holy Water and Sacred Chrism and placed a sacred stone into his mouth, which we do by ancient tradition prior to the cremation of the material body, I could see the peace and tranquility that surrounded this preordained and pre-existent personage. And while I miss my friend and companion because I am human, I do not mourn his passing. Rather, I rejoice that he is free from the bonds of this world and goes on to join the Angels and the Beings of Light and assist us in our work in a different and more profound way. Gary was and remains a prince of this Church and of the sun – a prince not in the sense of worldly wealth but with an abundance of spiritual treasure.

This part of the commentary of the Fifteenth Saying of Jamil continues last week’s theme but then moves in a different direction.

The Fifteenth Saying (Part 4)

“And The Second Mariner asked, ‘When we speak of Light and Dark beings, I imagine them as entities having two natures, like Man, only far more powerful than Man. Would it be accurate to perceive the physical sun as a living entity, as a being, possessing both Dark and Light aspects?’

“And The Man answered the Second Mariner saying, ‘The ancient Egyptians conceived the sun to be a living thing; something like an organism, or a very complicated cell, living and pulsating like a huge jellyfish of light. We know that the sun is a very complex organism, a complex body. It changes shape and actually breathes, or appears to breathe or pulse, emitting tremendous amounts of light, and radiation. Its surface moves. It is almost like the earth, except for the difference in energy. I would say that the sun is an organism of light, and therefore more being than just energy. If it were not for the sun, there would be no life on the planet – neither in the oceans nor on the land. Therefore the sun is a light bearer, a giver of light and life. The sun’s energies evoke responses in living organisms. The responses of organisms to light and energy are determined by their ability to handle stimuli. For example, a sunflower will react to the sun differently than a lizard or a fish. Man responds to different agencies in the sun. Because we know that energy is bound up with intelligence, and we know from experience and observation that opposing Light and Dark forces exist in the universe, there must be intelligence, information, factors within the energy of the sun that Man’s consciousness and intellect respond to. Again, for example, if we treat most any animal with kindness and love, it responds in kind; beating, starvation and harassment will produce a vicious animal. A child raised with love becomes a very beautiful person, a spoiled child becomes mischievous, and an abused child becomes a law breaker. All life responds to different stimuli accordingly.

“‘There are stimuli within the sun’s energy that drive organisms on the material level like fuel. However, in this same energy there are intelligence potentials, or factors, which can be perceived and absorbed by Man. If Man absorbs the energy of the sun, say in a system of looking at the sun, without restraint, without discipline, then the impersonal powers of his force centers overpower him, and he becomes a victim of intelligences outside of his own being which work to the detriment of his being. It is almost as if these intelligences, whether they are entities or simply frequency patterns, live off of the energy of Man. In other words, Man nourishes them, feeds them like the blood of the old temple sacrifices. Thus, these intelligences contribute to his death; being parasitic, they sap his vitality. So there is the death principle in the sun. In this respect you could say that the material sun is an organism that displays intelligence. Man feeds off it, yet it feeds off all living things. So we are a degenerate planet influenced by malevolent powers; that is the only way I can explain it.

“‘The Sun of Righteousness is a spiritual power that manifests within the physical sun just as there is solar energy locked up in these rocks we are sitting on. We know that these rocks are not as solid as they appear; there is a great amount of space between the atoms. And there is energy locked up within these rocks. When the sun’s energy heats the rocks the energy and orbits of the electrons change. If the energy in any one of these rocks could be extracted it could blow up a city. Now, if there is that much energy within a rock there must be intelligence within that rock. We know that some rocks give us headaches. Others make us feel good. There is a small example of two types of intelligences or powers around us. I would say that the Light of the spiritual Sun extends power together with wisdom only to people who learn how to apply it properly. It may be likened to a Christ Light that extends divine grace to the person who applies it properly but denies it to the ignorant. To make a simple analogy, if you fill an automobile with gasoline, start the engine, and drive it properly, it can serve you. If you are a child who has never learned how to drive you can kill yourself.

“‘There is power in the universe. The power of the sun has given the world atomic energy. There is enough power in the atom to destroy this planet and all life on it. Improper use of power is extremely dangerous. Man needs to learn how to handle power wisely. He needs to learn discipline. The power of the sun is so great, especially considering its intelligence potential, that if applied properly it could change this planet in the twinkling of an eye. We are living in an age when Man has to prepare to evacuate this planet someday, move on to another world, wherever that world may be; a star, a sun, or another planet. We have to begin now to prepare for the evolution and survival of the species; not as material beings, necessarily, but for transition to a higher form. Our intelligence at this point permits us to carry on a conversation locked up somehow within our brains and the fields around us. But there is something responsible for the brain and the field which is not material as we understand it. So, I would say that the sun is a link, a bridge, between higher powers and the destiny of Man.’”

This Saturday, October 10th, I will be baptizing my and Radheka’s son, Douglas Eugene Savoy III, in the Chapel of the Holy Child during the Communion of Fellowship Service. We would appreciate your good wishes during that time. Thank you!

Today’s portion of the commentary on the Fifteenth Saying is brief. The most important part to me is the declaration that even as Dark beings, or Dark angels, are being redeemed by the Messianic Sun of Righteousness now manifest, there are those Dark entities resisting the return to Light. It is this resistance that causes much of the world’s chaos, in my mind – a great cosmic cry of intense anguish.

The Fifteenth Saying (Part 3)

“And when The Man had concluded these words, the Third Mariner asked him saying, ‘You spoke of the Dark entities or beings which manifest in the sun, and you mentioned Lucifer, the light bearer. Would you elaborate more on Lucifer and his nature?’

“And The Man answered him saying, ‘I referred to Lucifer only because the name came to mind in the context of the statement. The Bible tells us little about Lucifer. Lucifer does mean “light bearer,” and he is generally believed to be a fallen angel of Light; that is, a Dark angel who was at times identified with the morning star, a symbolic term for a dim light when compared to the greater light of the day which was symbolic of God. It might be of interest to mention that even Dark angels in the fourth dimension are also being awakened to the Messianic Sun which emanates from the Consciousness of God. In the past, the Dark angels were very powerful over the world, but because of the Messianic Sun they too appear to be returning to Light. As you know there were entities who appeared to Adam in the Garden of Eden. Adam confused them with Angelic beings of Light. Dark angels were trying to get him to go astray, teaching of the devil, which resulted in Adam’s fall. But I somehow feel that now the angelic beings of Light are working in spiritual realms to uplift the Darker beings and bring them into a dialogue with God. Therefore, we have every reason to believe that this Church in the material world is part of an invisible Church in spiritual realms. We are part of a cosmic battle between Light and Dark on all levels of existence, in the sun and on earth.’”

I want today to make a special plea to you for special prayers. Please remember daily our dear and much beloved Reverend Dr. Gary Buchanan, the Church’s musical director. His body suffers at this time, and he needs our loving thoughts and prayers for his physical well-being. I know his spiritual well-being is in the hands of the Angels and Beings of Light, but please send a special energy to him. I thank you for that, and I’m sure he will receive it.

This is the first part of the commentary of the Fifteenth Saying of Jamil. While the topic is somber and sobering, it is something that must be understood. The commentary becomes clearer with the following portions, which we will review next week.

The Fifteenth Saying (Part 2)

“Upon completing the reading The Man said, ‘The sun has a dual nature which affects the two spirits of Man; one of Light, the other of Darkness. The Dark nature of the sun is truly something to be feared. The old Aztecs and Mayas, the Hebrews, the Persians, among other cultures, sacrificed blood to this Dark power. The priests may have led their followers to believe it was to God they were making sacrifice, but it was not. This concept of blood sacrifice as atonement was an offering to the Dark nature of the sun. It was believed that blood sustained the sun, nurtured it. The sun was believed to feed on blood. Remember that the sun had “gone out” during certain epochs, and the people feared that it would go out again. The people were told the sun went out because of their sins. So the spilling of blood was given as a sin-offering, as an atonement, to keep the sun shining.

“‘Major religions of antiquity made burnt offerings to the sun. If you remember, the Hebrews made burnt offerings to Jehovah. Fire, which was related to the sun, was always utilized in the offerings. To some peoples the sun became a god, a sun god. In some cultures the sun became an anthropomorphic being and was given such names as Zeus, Apollo, Mithra, Inti, Huitzilopochtli, Ra, among others.

“‘The solar adept of the Light religion sees this Darker power for what it is; not a god, or being, but a negative aspect of the sun. It is an intelligence factor opposite to that of Light. This negative aspect of the sun can cause negation of the force centers of Man, warp his mind and instincts. It is fuel to distemper, arrogance, pride, vanity and other cardinal errors. It nurtures selfishness. It breeds violence and hate. It causes crime on the individual and national levels. To the solar adept it is the evil temptation that would give him power and position in the world instead of beatific peace of spirit. It is the same power that tempted Jesus in the wilderness when he rejected worldly dominion for spiritual dominion. Every adept is faced with this temptation.

“‘Thus the knowledge of the dual nature of the sun is important to the serious seeker of Truth, and reminds him or her that the spiritual disciplines of The Community were created for his or her own good and therefore should be applied with respect. Entities have been known to manifest from the Darker nature of the sun, just as Angels manifest in the Light nature of the sun. It is known from a thorough study of ancient records that these Dark entities appeared in the temples of ancient times. Blood sacrifices appear to have fed them. Their images were cast in gold or cut in stone or marble and displayed in the temples. It seems as though the blood sacrifices aided their manifestation. Magicians have known the power of blood sacrifice and used it in their ceremonies. Dark religion became a terrible power in the hands of powerful priests. The golden image of an ass or colt was found in the Temple of Jerusalem when it fell to the Romans. Images on cathedrals throughout Europe depict ancient gods as they appeared to people then. In the Americas we are reminded of blood sacrifice by the ugly statues found in the Aztec temples. The Incas called the physical aspect of the sun Inti, and sacrificed chicha, a drink made from fermented corn, to it. In some cases the Incas sacrificed llamas to the sun. We can also call to mind the sacrifices of the Mayas who tore the living heart out of the sacrificial victim and offered it to the sun. The Hebrews sacrificed bulls, rams and lambs. The Mithraic people sacrificed bulls. The Romans sacrificed doves. Whatever the sacrifice, it was blood that was offered to some entity or god. Symbolically, blood is offered to God every day on the altar of Christian churches. Though the offer is wine, it represents blood.

“‘Blood sacrifice has been eliminated from religious ritual by the teachings of Jesus. And this has, to a very large degree, kept down the appearances of Dark entities which dominated the mind and psyche of ancient Man to such an extent that whole religions were built upon them. The Essaei refusal to participate in the blood sacrifices at the temple in Jerusalem contributed much to the world’s view on needless sacrifice. Yet, we cannot forget that there is a Dark aspect of the sun which must be acknowledged for what it is. Once this is understood one can combat it.

“‘In the Egyptian religion, Amon Ra signified the spiritual sun behind the physical sun. This sun was known to the Incas not as Inti, which was the physical sun, but as Viracocha, the creator and intelligence behind the physical sun. El, or Al, in Hebrew, means sun. Elohim is the Hebrew name for their god. Originally, the Hebrew religion was a religion of the great sun behind the physical sun. Like the Aztecs, the Hebrews negated and worshiped the Dark sun and began to make sacrifices to it. Among the Egyptians, the Toltecs and Mayas of Mexico, and the Chavin and Chimu of Peru, priests built pyramids of great size. The high priest went into the interior of these pyramids, entered a room where the light of the sun, or the moon, or a star came down a special shaft cut into the stone. This light was allowed to fall upon the forehead of the high priest who used this light and energy to increase his intelligence. Eventually, the priests negated and began to utilize the Dark power of the sun. They became great powers, held sway over the masses, conquered their neighbors and turned their knowledge to warfare.

“‘Christ came into the world and, in a manner of speaking, made a final sacrifice in order to teach a Light way to God, the true God who does not wish or want blood sacrifices. God wishes to uplift mankind, free him from Darkness, illness, and death by transforming him into Light. So, if Man were to link himself with this Light, and trust in this Light, the world could change in the twinkling of an eye. The world would become Light. This New Teaching reveals the true state of affairs in the world and frees Man from the influence of the Dark. There is no way that Dark entities can empower a person of Light who is in this Community; alone, a person could be. I have a great fear and a great respect for the power of these entities. I let them be; I do not encourage them in any way, nor do anything that would empower them. By looking at the sun and exemplifying the Light that Jamil taught – that Light that was taught by Jesus and the Essenes – we seem to draw away from the influence of the Darker beings. I would say that the Dark nature of the sun is the home of the fourth-dimensional beings as we are taught in The System. These are the anti-Christs, the Lucifers, the light bearers and the satanic beings who oppose the angelic beings of the spiritual Light of the sun.’”

Under more normal circumstances, last Sunday would have concluded The Community’s annual Convocation. However, with Covid and the fires raging in California, it ended up being a wise decision not to have it this year. We have been inundated with high and unhealthy levels of smoke for the past few weeks and have had to cancel several of the past Sunday Sunrise Divine services.

On a more positive note, I am pleased to say that we continue to press on with important projects. We are currently finishing up some landscaping at the Sanctuary and making preparations to convert an appropriate space into guest quarters for those wishing to retreat to the Sanctuary. The healing waters at Steamboat have proved to be very beneficial to the general public in these stressful times, and our local presence is growing with increased numbers visiting the hot springs. While our Mexico project has temporarily been put on hold due to the pandemic, we continue with the necessary translation of our material into Spanish. This will turn out to be most valuable when we start offering our program to the Spanish-speaking world next year. Our Japan community continues to perform their regular weekend services and teaching programs; and our outreach efforts in Australia are ramping up.

I am also happy to report that we are working on adding new texts to the Solar Teachings – Cultures Series. As you know, this currently includes Israel, Egypt, Greece, Arabia, India, China, Oceania and the Americas. We will soon be adding Japan, Africa, and Britain and Ireland, among others. In addition to this, we are in the process of converting several of our texts into e-books, which we will be able to offer publicly on the Cosolargy website. We are beginning with the books on exploration (Antisuyo: The Search for the Lost Cities of the Amazon and On the Trail of the Feathered Serpent); the religious primer books (The Decoded New Testament, The Essaei Document: Secrets of an Eternal Race and The Lost Gospel of Jesus); and, of course, Project X: The Search for the Secrets of Immortality. These six books (including the Millennium Editions of the primer books) and Jamil: Child of Light will be the start of our offering a host of information online.

Finally, I do have news regarding our projects in Peru; however, I will save this report for another time. Let us now continue to the Fifteenth Saying of The Secret Sayings of Jamil.

The Fifteenth Saying (Part 1)

“And these are the words of the Fifteenth Saying:

‘The material light of the sun is not to be confused with the Light of God’s New Sun of Righteousness. Within the material sun are many powers that can quicken a person’s nature, and within its realms are many forms and entities that can entrap Man. But Man mustneeds penetrate these powers, which are of the Powers of Darkness, in order to gain the Light of God. Man mustneeds triumph over them; fly through them like an arrow directed toward the heart of heaven.

‘In ancient times many solar cultures utilized the powers of the material sun, and therein was their downfall. While the energies of the material sun supply Man with light and heat and are the driving factors of his environment controlling climate and life, these energies are related to the material body of Man. If Man is to be freed from the darker part of his nature, he must conquer, or overcome, the darker impulses or powers also manifesting through the light of the material sun.

‘Modern Man strives after the use of solar energy, as did ancient peoples. But if the same errors are committed and the creative powers of the universe are utilized for unjust ends, they will be entrapped and destroyed as were people in former ages of Earth. Know then, it is essential that there be a Community of learned persons who can instruct humankind in the proper use of energies from the sun without fear of breaking natural laws which the ancient, learned men and women of noble schools of religion and philosophy and science knew. And be quick to instruct those attending the school of Great Learning that the beginners in the sun absorb the darker side of the material sun’s energies into their being. From this proceeds arrogance, pride, vanity, love of self and unrighteousness. Herein dwells the power of the ruler of the world, the evil one, who commands the fallen angelic host. All such beings strive to gain knowledge and would equate themselves with God. Such are the thoughts of the fallen.

‘Instruct the beginners in the sun that many will fall away after a time, believing that the disciplines of The Community are non-essential, not necessary. These persons will return to the world, joyful in the thought that they have gained something of value for mind and body and spirit. Not realizing they are confused, they believe an untruth, and herein lies the beginning of their downfall for they join the legions of Dark beings who fell before them. Remember that the sons of Man are children of Darker beings who joined with the daughters of Earth eons ago. Thus it is their nature to strive for power.

‘And to such persons apparitions, bright forms, and demons appear, filling their minds and thoughts with mischievous ideas of spiritual anarchy, disunity, and opposition to the will of God. These are the beings responsible for death and sorrow and who cause illnesses of mind, body and spirit. It was such beings that Jesus expelled from many people in olden times, and which all members of The Community must cause to be expelled from among them by the power of Christ in the Messianic Sun.

‘God would not that Man perish. Death is the work of the wicked who lead men and women and the world astray.’”
