Truth is Found in God’s Grace and Word

“The gospel of truth is joy for those who have received from the Father of truth the grace of knowing him by the power of the word, who has come from the fullness and who is in the thought and the mind of the Father. This is the one who is called the savior since that is the name of the work that he must do for the redemption of those who have not known the Father. For the name of the gospel is the revelation of hope, since that is the discovery of those who seek him, because the realm of all sought him from whom it came. You see, all was inside of him, that illimitable, inconceivable one, who is better than every thought.

“Ignorance of the father brings error. This ignorance of the father brought about terror and fear. And terror became dense like a fog, so no one was able to see. Because of this, error became strong. But she worked on her material substance vainly, because she did not know the truth. She assumed a fashioned figure while she was preparing, in power and in beauty, the substitute for truth. This, then, was not a humiliation for the illimitable, inconceivable one. For they were as nothing, this terror and this forgetfulness and this figure of falsehood, whereas established truth is unchanging, unperturbed, and completely beautiful. For this reason, do not take error too seriously. Since error had no root, she was in a fog regarding the father. She was preparing works and forgetfulnesses and fears in order, by these means, to beguile those of the middle and to make them captive. The forgetfulness of error was not revealed. It did not become light beside the father. Forgetfulness did not exist with the father, although it existed because of him. What exists in him is knowledge, which was revealed so that forgetfulness might be destroyed and that the father might be known. Since forgetfulness existed because the father was not known, if the father comes to be known, from that moment on forgetfulness will cease to exist.”

The Gospel of Truth is Joy

More accurately, Truth is Joy because we have been so trapped in the illusions of matter that having the Truth revealed to us is indeed a joyous event. Some may not see it that way initially because it will contradict many of their long-held beliefs, but eventually, they will see the joy in knowing the truth. The Father of Truth mentioned in the same sentence is, of course, God. God is the Father and Mother of all Truth, Wisdom, and Divine Knowledge. It is this truth and knowledge that was the goal of all great mystery schools and Gnostic schools, and it is achieved by reaching the highest levels of consciousness.

The Savior

The quote goes on to say that the Gospel of Truth is the Savior sent by the Father, so it is more than the written text from which the quote came, it is also a reference to Christ. Most of us know Jesus as Christ, but others have been Christ in different places and times, such as Buddha, and Quetzalcoatl.

Ignorance Brings Error

Gene Savoy, Sr. taught us that the only real sin was ignorance because the only way one could do wrong is to not know the Truth regarding God and the afterlife. So he would agree that ignorance brings error, especially ignorance of God which is the type of ignorance being referenced in the quote. Socrates also said: “The only good is Knowledge and the only evil is ignorance”.

Terror and Fear

Terror and Fear are indeed products of ignorance. Hatred and prejudice would also fall into that category. Indeed, nearly all forms of negative thinking and behavior is the result of ignorance of God and Truth.

Error Became Strong

Yes, error did become strong. When millions believe the same falsehoods, those falsehoods control their behavior making error strong. We see this in business and politics today, perhaps more than ever before. And the error makes us forget even more the truth regarding God and Heaven. But the good news is that a small number of people are awakening to the truth, and more will do so in time.

“Another one! New comet could get SUPER-bright”

We’ve been eagerly waiting for bright Comet A3 to grace our skies. And now there’s another comet! On Friday, the ATLAS survey discovered a comet that could appear even brighter than Comet A3, and even brighter than the brightest planet, Venus. Comets are notoriously unpredictable, but early observations suggest it might be bright enough to be seen even in the daytime.

The comet is so new it’s still waiting for its name. But for now it has the designation of A11bP7I. Predictions for the comet have it reaching as bright as magnitude -5 to -7 when it comes closest to the sun, at perihelion, on October 28.

“What is the heliosphere and how can we measure it?”

The sun warms the Earth, making it habitable for people and animals. But that’s not all it does, and it affects a much larger area of space. The heliosphere, the area of space influenced by the sun, is over a hundred times larger than the distance from the sun to the Earth.

The sun is a star that constantly emits a steady stream of plasma – highly energized ionized gas – called the solar wind. In addition to the constant solar wind, the sun also occasionally releases eruptions of plasma called coronal mass ejections, or CMEs.

The First Thought is Light

“I am first thought, the thought that is in light. I am movement that is in all, she in whom the realm of all takes its stand, the firstborn among those who came into being, she who exists before all. She is called by three names, although she exists alone, since she is perfect. I am invisible within the thought of the invisible one. I am revealed in the immeasurable, ineffable things. I am intangible, dwelling in the intangible. I move in every creature. I am the life of my afterthought that is within every power and every eternal movement, and in invisible lights, and within the powers and angels and demons and every soul in Tartaros, and in every material soul. I live in those who came into being. I move in everyone and I enter them. I walk upright, and those who sleep I awaken. And I am the sight of those who dwell in sleep. I am the invisible one in all. I counsel those who are hidden, since I know the whole realm of all that exists in it. I am numberless beyond everyone. I am immeasurable, ineffable, yet whenever I wish, I shall reveal myself. I am the head of all. I am before all, and I am all, since I am in everyone. I am a voice speaking softly. I am from the beginning. I am in the silence that surrounds every one of them. And the hidden voice is in me, in intangible, immeasurable thought, in the immeasurable silence. I descended into the underworld and shone down on the darkness. I poured water. I am hidden in radiant waters. I gradually dawn on all by my thought. I am weighed down with the voice. Through me knowledge comes. I am in the ineffable and unknowable. I am perception and knowledge, uttering a voice by means of thought. I am the real voice. I cry out in everyone, and they recognize it, since a seed lives in them. I am the father’s thought, and through me came the voice: the knowledge of everlasting things. I am as thought for all. I am joined to unknowable and intangible thought.”

First Thought

In the conventional Bible, the first thing God says is, “Let there be Light.” In this Gnostic scripture, it says that this was the first thought, the one that created Light and the one that created the movement that is in everything.

Firstborn

The quote goes on to say that this first thought was the firstborn of all those who came into being. While that may be true, in a way, we must remember that spirits and souls were created and exist outside of the limits of time and space, so they are all ageless and eternal. The New Age types who are always talking about “Old Souls” don’t seem to grasp this truth. No soul is older than any other soul because age is meaningless in a realm where time doesn’t exist. It is also curious that the quote refers to this firstborn as “she” rather than “He”. The conventional male-centered churches would have us believe that God is in three persons, and all three are male, but then there would have to be another god for females to exist. So God has both male and female aspects, as he created both sexes.

I Awaken Those Who Sleep

The First Thought which is Light does indeed awaken us. Specifically, the Light from the Spiritual Sun awakens our spiritual faculties and develops them. This can happen automatically to a small degree, but if we intentionally look to the Spiritual Sun, with love, peace, and humility, it will happen to a much greater degree and have a much greater effect.

Perception and Knowledge

When we awaken and develop our spirits with the Divine Light, we do gain greater perception, wisdom, and knowledge. Not so much knowledge of the material world, but knowledge of the permanent realm of Spirit. That is the most important knowledge to have. Those who concentrate on learning about the material realm are like the person who stops to pick up pennies, not knowing that a treasure of gold coins is up ahead. We in Cosolargy seek the higher levels of consciousness where the gold of Truth, Wisdom, and Knowledge are found.

“1.5 billion cosmic objects dazzle in the largest infrared Milky Way map ever created”

Astronomers from the European Southern Observatory (ESO) have released the most detailed infrared map of the Milky Way galaxy ever compiled. Completed after more than 13 years of monitoring using the ESO’s Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy (VISTA) at the group’s Paranal Observatory in Chile, the project adds up to 500 terabytes of data containing over 1.5 billion cosmic objects. Taken as a whole, the mapping is the largest survey of its kind to employ an ESO telescope.

“NASA’s Chandra Observatory Uncovers Galaxy Cluster with Crossed Streams of Superheated Gas”

Astronomers using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory have made a groundbreaking discovery in the galaxy cluster known as Zwicky 8338 (Z8338).

Located about 670 million light-years from Earth, this cluster contains two distinct streams of superheated gas crossing each other—a rare and complex phenomenon that sheds light on how galaxy clusters evolve. This unusual event provides crucial insights into the dynamics of galaxy clusters, offering a window into the interactions between galaxies and the surrounding hot gas, which is critical for understanding galaxy formation and evolution on a larger cosmic scale.
