Bishop Gene Invited to 2015 Parliament of the World’s Religions

First Parliament of the World's Religions held in Chicago 1893

First Parliament of the World’s Religions held in Chicago 1893

Bishop Gene Savoy Jr. has been invited to be part of the 2015 Parliament of the World’s Religions to be held October 15-19, 20125 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The theme of the 2015 Parliament is Reclaiming the Heart of Our Humanity: Working Tgether for a World of Compassion, Peace, Justice, and Sustainability. The discussion at the Parliament in 2015 will focus on climate change, violence, and wasteful consumption.

Bishop Gene has been invited to speak on the topic “Pathways to Peace: Different Perspectives” as part of the panel organized by Balwant S. Hansra, a Sikh leader and a former member of the Parliament Board. The invitation to speak was accepted by Bishop Gene with these words: “Yes, of course I am very interested in being on your panel. My religion (which is not restricted to Christianity) has a very unique perspective on what the path to peace is. We teach a very specialized practice using natural and cosmic energies by which any individual, regardless of culture, race or tradition may employ. By so doing, the individual harmonizes him/herself with natural and supranatural energies of the universe. In this way, that person becomes an awakened spiritual Being on Earth, as well as in Heaven. I would very much like to discuss this within the guidelines you lay out.”

The guiding principles of the Parliament of the World’s Religions are respectful dialogue, non-proselytizing, and willingness to explore a wide variety of topics.

“Empathy and Emotional Energy”

2014-REP-Empathy2When you don’t notice the incoming flow of energy information, pressure builds up and more information is added to the Flow, . . . it’s easy then to feel overwhelmed, irritable, or even sad. Sometimes, the energy information you’re receiving is emotional and you’ll match the vibration, . . . You can also pick up information about physical states, as when your niece breaks her arm, . . . Until you process it, you may have similar, though more symbolic, symptoms, and not know why. . . .

When you don’t translate this pre-verbal energy information into understanding, and the pressure builds behind the incoming flow, you may protest against your growing empathic ability, saying, “It’s all too much!” and withdraw into your cave. You may unconsciously decide you don’t want to know anything. Hiding your head in the sand won’t help, though, because the information just keeps coming. ~Penney Peirce

“Empathy. Both a blessing and a curse depending on who you ask, or when. Most commonly, we feel empathy either with those we are emotionally close to, or those we are physically close to even if they are strangers. I remember some years ago when I donated blood, an elderly nurse who apparently had arthritis took my blood. My joints ached for hours after. Many would consider that a case of empathy being a curse.”

“Introductory Paradigms”: Tour of Consciousness, Week 1

2014-REP-con week 1 This is the first of twelve installations concerning the topic of consciousness. My hope is to broaden your horizons on this subject that you might better relate to others the components in our Teaching. Although we are quite educated in what our own consciousness is, many people, by comparison, are perceptively illiterate to the consciousness of other existents, including people, animals, plants, and sensually deprived entities such as minerals. The presenters in these segments have invested a good deal of time  in their areas of investigation, and though we may not entirely agree with their notions, there are bits that seem valuable in the context of our Teaching. The final three installations in this “tour” of consciousness address how consciousness in its essence might migrate from other dimensions and express itself in the construct of “thought.” Finally, I hope you not only find these presentations informative but also entertaining.

The 2015 Cosolargy Conference and Tour, which will be held in Kyoto, Japan from May 22 – 28 is taking shape.

In addition to the conference and associated workshops, there will be a tour of Kyoto – Japan’s ancient capital and one of its most beautiful cities. Kyoto is known for its beautiful Zen gardens, its wonderful cuisine, and is home to one of the most impressive Zen Buddhist temples, the Golden Pavilion.

There will also be a visit Mount Koya, the seat of Kobo-Daishi’s esoteric school of Shingon (True Word) Buddhism where a replica of the so-called Nestorian Monument stands. There, the tour group will lodge overnight in a Buddhist monastery, which promises to be a very interesting and unique experience.

Please call our offices if you have any interest in attending this special event in the Land of the Rising Sun.

2015 Community Calendar Available

2015-SPM-Community Calendar 2015-FuellingS

As a special gift for this time of year, the Church has sent out to all active Community members the Community Calendar for 2015.

For practical purposes, the calendar follows the traditional monthly format beginning with January, but it contains all the significant dates of The Community’s Sacred Calendar, which begins on February 2nd (refer to Jamil: Child of Light, chapter 27).

In addition to dates for liturgical observance or remembrance, the moon phases for the year are also included. In relation to these moon phases are indicated days to view sunrise or sunset according to the important Lunar/Solar Cycles Generative Technique familiar to Cosolargists who have advanced through The Cosolargy Papers.

Once again, thanks go to Deacon Dr. Stephan Fuelling for compiling and designing the calendar in consultation with the Publishing, Editing and Liturgical departments and with Bishop Gene. Thanks also go to the Reverend Ben Hubbard, who prints the calendar using our printing system at our production facilities located at the Steamboat Hot Springs.

A suggested donation of $20.00 by active Community members would be greatly appreciated to help defray costs for producing the calendar. Corresponding members may contact the Church offices to request a calendar for the same suggested donation.

“Could Earth’s Magnetic Poles Flip This Century?”

Swarm satellite (ESA) measurements made the last 6 months show a dramatic decline over North and South America with a strengthening of the Earth's magnetic field over the southern Indian Ocean. Magnetic north continues to move towards Siberia where a large magma rise under the crust has been occurring for the past several decades. The new ESA SWARM data could indicate the Earth's magnetic poles are in the process of flipping. PHOTO: June 2014 image by ESA's Swarm Satellite.

“December 18, 2014 Berkeley, California – 786,000 years ago, iron atoms in Earth’s liquid outer core began switching their orientation in opposition to the existing Earth magnetic field. What causes iron atoms to act like tiny magnets that revolt against the planetary magnetic field is not understood. But when it happens in increasing numbers, patches of reverse-aligned iron atoms keep growing until they dominate the rest of the Earth’s liquid outer core — and the planet’s magnetic field flips. That means what was the north magnetic pole becomes the south magnetic pole and what was the south becomes the north. According to ancient sedimentary rock, volcanic ash and sea floor core research, there have been 184 polarity changes in the last 83 million years. Recent ground research indicates that in the century before the last pole flip, the Earth’s magnetic field weakened and strengthened and weakened and strengthened several times before locking into the current north and south magnetic poles.”

“Lifting the Veil”

2014-REP-WorldSpiritual The smokescreen of the world is lifted. Everything is interconnected within a great, joyous vibration. Life becomes vaster, truer, more alive; little truths twinkle everywhere, wordlessly, as if each thing held a secret, a special sense, a special life. One bathes in an indescribable state of truth, without understanding anything about it—it just is. And it is, marvelously. It is light, alive, loving. ~Sri Aurobindo

As transformation occurs, your intuition deepens to direct knowing, and you rapidly perceive all at once, all over your body. Your left and right brain operate in a cooperative partnership. . . . Your ultrasensitivity leads you to become empathic, which then leads you to compassion, the knowing of the soul. ~Penney Peirce

“When people are told that the world they think is reality, the world of matter, is largely illusion, the first thing they will probably ask, assuming they believe you, is how they can change their vision to see reality rather than illusion. Unfortunately, it is not as simple as taking the red pill or the blue pill as in the movie The Matrix.”
