Center of the Light of God

Woman stands in praise before a beautiful night sky.

Woman stands in praise before a beautiful night sky.

“Dear Children, consider, how mightily and powerfully, with wonders, miracles, and works, the Spirit of God went forth in word and deed in the times of the Apostles, and after, till Antichrist and the spirit of self-pride, with his invented laws and astral wisdom broke forth. … And so the man of pride makes as if himself had Divine Power upon Earth, and knows not in his blindness that the Holy Ghost will not be bound. …
“But if any would attain Salvation, he must be born again, through the water in the center of the birth of life, which springs up in the Center of the Light of God, for which end God the Father has by His Son commanded Baptism, that so we might have a Law, and a remarkable sign or remembrance.” ~Jacob Boehme

Yes, in the Time of Jesus and his Apostles, the Holy Spirit was strong in the world and materialism was kept in check while true religion and spirituality was allowed to thrive. But as Boehme indicates, that soon changed through the work of the Antichrist and his minions.

Whether you think of the Antichrist as an evil person, a spirit, or just a force that encourages evil and anarchy, doesn’t really matter. What does matter is that this Thing has, for thousands of years, interfered with any attempts by man to climb out of the hole of matter, the cave of materialism, and communicate once again with the angels, the Beings of Light, and God Himself.

The 2015 Convocation of members of the International Community of Cosolargy/Christ took place from September 9 through September 13. Lecture programs included the Clergy Counsels and the Residence Training III Seminar on COLOR & SACRED IMAGERY. Later in the week, Residence Training in Christology and Liturgical Practice was held for those needing to fulfill those requirements.

To open the Convocation week, the Residence Training III program, “Color & Sacred Imagery,” was presented in the new multimedia format that was developed in 2009 to improve the original 1980 presentation. Highlights of the program were accentuated with live presentations by Rebecca Willis on gemstones, Robert and Noriko Roy on jewelry, Elizabeth Reece on stained glass, and Gary Buchanan on recent developments in sound and light therapy research. The seminar connected those in attendance to profound concepts through the Oral Tradition of the School.

At the Clergy Counsels, this year held at the Red Rock Sanctuary Monastery Gardens, Bishop Gene presented a preliminary multi-year plan of action for the advancement of the religious arts, spiritual sciences and therapeutic technologies of Cosolargy. His overview began with the establishment of The Community in Mexico; the construction of another self-sustaining, off-grid and solar-powered parsonage at the Sanctuary; and an update of the Sanctuary tax exemption, which is now complete.

Bishop Gene went on to explain that the most important and primary goal and mission of The Community is to reach out and inspire people and that this is accomplished through The Academy and the Jamilian University, by the three primary ordinations of water, fire and the Light. He then went on to discuss the restructuring of The School by means of social media and the expansion of the Cosolargy Institute of Japan which hosted the first international Cosolargy conference earlier this year in May. Besides The Academy texts having been translated in Japanese, the Project X text, Jamil: Child of Light, and two prophecies have also been translated for distribution.

Returning to Mexico, the Bishop went on to explain his vision for Community Centers in various parts of the world which would revolve around the concept of healing attached to mineral springs and geothermal waters. The idea he presented is to locate places around the world that can operate as healing centers which can then fund the primary objective which is the Cosolargy Centers. The places he mentioned were: Japan (already established), Mexico (in process), Peru, New Zealand, and Europe (possibly Ireland, Portugal and the Czech Republic).

The Counsels closed with a review of the accomplishments achieved at the Red Rock Sanctuary over the past several years, including the renovation of the churches of New Epiphany and New Pentecost; the acquisition of three horses; the building of greenhouses and vegetable gardens; and the constriction of the pier at the reservoir. Plans are also in the works for the growing of the herb gardens. The Bishop finalized his remarks with a reading from the Book of God’s Revelation.

2016 Advent day Vigil Observed

Advent Day Vigil (February 2-6)
To commemorate the fifty-fourth year since the birth of the Sun of Righteousness and the dawning of God’s Second Advent, Sunrise Divine Services were held at the open-air Church of New Epiphany from Advent Day, Tuesday, February 2 through Saturday, February 6, 2016.

* * *

The Advent Day or New Year Vigil was first celebrated liturgically by The Church in 1982. The events of the original Vigil are recorded in “Prophecy on the Revelation and the Opening of the Seals,” chapter 90 of the Prophecy of the New Covenant. During each of the ten days of the original Vigil in 1982, Bishop Savoy received and recorded spiritual information on the building of the Second Advent Church. The significance of this original Vigil to The Church is suggested by a synopsis of the information impressed upon the spirit of Bishop Savoy in those days.

On the first day of the Vigil he recorded the impressions that would be included in The Canon of The Church.

On the second day he recorded the prophecies of Renewal and Transformation and the days and seasons to form part of the Sacred Calendar of The Church.

On the third day Bishop Savoy recorded words concerning The Liturgy of The Second Advent Church.

On February 2, Advent Day, he wrote down the prophecies of things to take place on earth before the final Advent of God, who would make his full Appearance in the Heavens following the Judgment in the End Times of the earth.

On the fifth day of the Vigil Bishop Savoy recorded the means to be applied within the Church to increase God’s Blessings upon it.

On the sixth day, he wrote down all the prophecies pertaining to the matter of the Anti-Christ.

On the seventh day he recorded the means by which the Second Advent Church was to assist God in redeeming the races of the earth.

On the eighth day, Bishop Savoy wrote down impressions to be included in the Litany of The Church in establishing peace on earth.

On the ninth day he received impressions on the means to be used to protect the Church from profanation from within.

On the tenth and final day of the Vigil, Bishop Savoy was told that he would receive the Revelation to the Seven Churches upon the Seven Mountains of Metal of The Sanctuary on the day of Second Advent Easter, April 18.

The Most Right Reverend Gene Savoy, First Disciple of The Child, witnessed the original manifestation of the Sun of Righteousness on February 2, 1962, in Yungay, Peru. The events surrounding the Birth of The Sun of Righteousness on this date in 1982 are described in the Second Advent scriptural text Jamil: The Child Christ. Chapter 27 of this text speaks of the New Sun’s Birth:

All spent the day and night in prayer, fasting and mindful of the events predicted by the Angel. And when the second day of February dawned, the sun shone brightly in the heavens. And they did return to the tomb, and there awaited the promised event. And at noon, when the tomb cast no shadow, behold! a great halo formed around the sun. They stood breathlessly looking in wonder and awe. Then a circle of rainbow colors, like crystal spheres, blue at the center and red at the outer edges, encircled the sun. In the heart of the radiant globe a white Cross appeared. And they feared the Last Day was upon them. And they trembled, forgetting the promise of the Angelic Host, and the message of The Child. For an hour the heavenly blaze burned in the firmament. And The Man looked upon the sun, and the image of Jamil appeared across the sun, radiant beyond words, his countenance bright and his hair white as snow. And The Child was holding the Sun in his arms, over his heart. And The Man saw a gate to another world. Again he saw the four Guardian Angels around The Child, and on the right hand side of The Child he saw the image of Jesus and the Apostles witnessing his appearance. And he heard the voice of Jamil as music, speaking to the Light of his Eternal Soul, saying: “I am resurrected.” And the disciple knew that The Child was redeemed from the earth. . . .

And the risen Child said: “The incarnation of God the Father is come to the world through the Sun of Righteousness, healing and sustaining the human family; and restoring the Life of Righteousness. As the seed of man enters the womb of woman and life cometh forth, so shall a heavenly Seed enter the spirits of men and women, and a new birth shall occur. And the life thereof shall be of God. And death shall not claim this new Body of Light and the Spiritual Consciousness therein. And the Christ transmitted in the Sun of Righteousness, and indirectly on all living things, down to the smallest atom and particle, shall incarnate within the soul of mankind. And every man and every woman shall know that they are one with the Godhead, divine and immortal.

Later in chapter 27, the text refers to the coming of The Comforter that took place on February 6, eight days after the passing of The Child:

And on the fourth day of February, the sun and six planets conjoined in Aquarius. And The Man saw great signs in the heavens. And the Anti-Christ was manifesting. Whereupon, his body and mind and soul suffered turmoil. And the struggle continued through the sixth day, it being the eighth day following the passing of The Child Christ. But The Man prayed to God, looking upon the New Sun and asking the Light to assist him. The Child Christ heard him and sent an Angel to comfort him in his dreams. And the Darkness lost its power over him.

Thereafter, The Man began the Great Work east of the Andes.

January 30, 2016: Chapel Readings

Rt. Rev. Gene Savoy Jr.

Rt. Rev. Gene Savoy Jr.

Each week of the liturgical year, a reading from Second Advent Scripture is delivered as part of the Saturday Communion of Fellowship Service held in the Chapel of the Holy Child. This reading follows the Sacred Calendar of the Church; that is, Prophecies and Revelations that have been received by The Church on sacred dates are recalled in a liturgical context during the appropriate season each year. This reading is delivered by the Officiant of the Communion Service (that is, Bishop Gene Savoy, or occasionally in his stead, Bishop Sean Savoy) just before the final blessings. Each service also includes a reading from the ancient scriptures, prayers, or wisdom sayings of various world religions past and present and is usually thematically related to the Second Advent Reading. This reading is delivered by the Reader right after the announcements that begin the service and is thus the first reading of the service. An audio recording of the reading from Second Advent Scripture delivered on the date above is provided here below together with a transcript of the first reading of the service that day.

SECOND ADVENT PROPHECY AND REVELATION

ANCIENT SCRIPTURE AND WISDOM SAYINGS

A Reading from the Prophet Isaiah 66:

For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
And the former shall not be remembered nor come to mind.
But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create;
For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people,
And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
They shall not labor in vain,
Nor bring forth children in trouble;
For the shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord,
And their offspring with them.

As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure.

From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord. “It shall come to pass
That before they call, I will answer;
And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
The lion shall eat straw like the ox,
And dust shall be the serpent’s food.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,”
Says the Lord.

God Isn’t Punishing Us, We Punish Ourselves

2015-REP-LawNature

“The Yogi teachings related to the law of Karma do not teach us that sin is an offense against the Power which brought us into being, so much as it is an offense against ourselves. We cannot injure the Absolute, nor harm It in any way. But we may harm each others, and in so doing harm ourselves. The Yogis teach that sin is largely a matter of ignorance and misunderstanding of our true nature … The Yogis view the sinning soul as the parent does the child who will persist in playing with forbidden things [until he is injured]. The injury is not a punishment for the disobedience … but comes in obedience to a natural law which is invariable. … The parent sought to save the child the pain of the burn, and yet the child-nature persisted in experimenting, and was taught the lesson.” ~William Walker Atkinson

Many people believe that God Himself is punishing us when we do something wrong or something stupid. As Mr. Atkinson points out, that is neither true, nor necessary. God simply has laws, as does nature, and those who insist those laws can be violated quickly find they can’t.

SECOND ADVENT PROPHECY AND REVELATION

A Reading from the Prophecy of the New Covenant, Chapter 90: “Prophecy on the Revelation and the Opening of the Seals” (pp. 950-959).

ANCIENT SCRIPTURE AND WISDOM SAYINGS

A Reading from the Prophet Isaiah 61:

The nations shall see your righteousness,

And all rulers your glory.
You shall be called by a new name,

Which the mouth of the Lord will name.
You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord

A royal diadem In the hand of your God.
You shall no longer be termed Forsaken,
Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate;
For the Lord delights in you,

I will speak of the lovingkindness of the Lord
And the praises of the Lord,
According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us,
And the great goodness toward his people,
Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies,
According to His manifold lovingkindness.
For He said, “Surely they are My people,
Children who will not lie.”
So He became their Savior.
And the Angel of His Presence saved them;
In His love and in His pity He redeemed them;
And He bore them and carried them
All the days.

Recollection of Our True Self

Hope

“You will have noticed, as with practice your familiarity with the state of Recollection has increased, that the kind of consciousness which it brings with it, the sort of attitude which it demands of you, conflict sharply with the consciousness and the attitude which you have found so appropriate to your ordinary life in the past. They make this old attitude appear childish, unworthy, at last absurd. By this first deliberate effort to attend to Reality you are at once brought face to face with that dreadful revelation of disharmony, unrealness, and interior muddle which the blunt moralists call ‘conviction of sin.’ Never again need those moralists point out to you the inherent silliness of your earnest pursuit of an impermanent thing: your solemn concentration upon the game of getting on.” ~Evelyn Underhill

Recollection can result in this reevaluation of priorities, just as Ms. Underhill wrote. This is not just ordinary recollection, of course. Remembering where you left your car keys won’t have this effect, nor will remembering the name of your third-grade teacher. The type of Recollection Underhill is talking about is the recollection of your true nature: who you truly are, where you came from, what is the purpose of your live, that sort of thing. Mystics and adepts call this “showing your real face.” In this case, showing your real face to yourself, not necessarily to others.
