Each week of the liturgical year, a reading from Second Advent Scripture is delivered as part of the Saturday Communion of Fellowship Service held in the Chapel of the Holy Child. This reading follows the Sacred Calendar of the Church; that is, Prophecies and Revelations that have been received by The Church on sacred dates are recalled in a liturgical context during the appropriate season each year. This reading is delivered by the Officiant of the Communion Service (that is, Bishop Gene Savoy, or occasionally in his stead, Bishop Sean Savoy) just before the final blessings. Each service also includes a reading from the ancient scriptures, prayers, or wisdom sayings of various world religions past and present and is usually thematically related to the Second Advent Reading. This reading is delivered by the Reader right after the announcements that begin the service and is thus the first reading of the service. A Reading from the Gospel of Thomas:

     These are the secret sayings that the living Jesus spoke and Judas Thomas, the twin, his brother, recorded:

(1) And he said, Whoever discovers what these sayings mean will not taste death.

(2) …Seek and do not stop seeking until you find. When you find, you will be troubled. When you are troubled, you will marvel and rule over all; and having ruled, you will rest.

(3) …The kingdom is inside you and it is outside you. When you know yourself, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you dwell in poverty and you are poverty.

(4) …A person old in days will not hesitate to ask a little child seven days old about the place of life, and the person will live. For many of the first will be last and become a single one.

(5) …Know what is in front of your face and what is hidden from you will be disclosed. There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed.

(6) … Do not lie and do not what you hate. (Again) all things are disclosed before heaven. There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nothing covered that will not be disclosed.

(10) …I have thrown fire upon the world, and look, I am watching till it blazes.

(11) …This heaven will pass away and the one above it will pass away. The dead are not alive and the living will not die….When you are in the light, what will you do? On the day you were one, you became two. But when you become two, what will you do?

(17) …I shall give you what no eye has seen, what no ear
has heard, what no hand has touched, what has not (ever) arisen in the human heart.

My message for you this week is brief. First, let me thank those of you who have sent me positive feedback to these short communiques. I’m glad they are of some use to you.

As you know, our Community has been working on establishing itself in Mexico. Our plan there is to build a health and wellness retreat, as well as a Cosolargy center for the Latin American world. In February of this year, several members of The Community joined me on a visit to Los Barriles in southern Baja California to look at property. Initially we went to visit a particular piece of land which, quite honestly, did not appeal to any of us. Besides that, the owner was not very accommodating in our negotiations with him, which fell through. A little while later in the trip, we became aware of another piece of property north of Los Barriles in a town called El Cardonal (named after a regional cactus). We all liked it very much. The Google Earth link will show you the property itself.

After meeting with the owner, we were able to arrive at an agreeable arrangement. The last sixty days has been a period of due diligence, and we have been able to verify through The Community’s attorney and real estate agent in Mexico, as well as our business attorney here in Reno that everything is in order for the acquisition. The title is clear, and hydrological studies and topographical surveys have been completed. In addition, we are working on getting the concession from the federal government on the 710 feet of beach in front of us on the Sea of Cortez. I urge you, if you have not already done so, to please look at my letter of 3/16/17 and make a pledge and send in your much needed donation for this important project. We are still short of the amount needed for the down payment and closing costs.

I left yesterday for Mexico to close our land purchase and will be in talks with architects and contractors for the first design phase of the project, which is explained in my letter. My daughter, Sonya, who is now 19, is also with me to see the scope of what we will be doing there. This is a very exciting time for our Community! I will give a further update to you when I return and have more news.

Our Community – the Community of Cosolargy, the Community of Christ, the Community of Light – is charged to bring the Teachings of Light to the peoples of the Earth, who labor under great tribulation, that God has caused His Divine Light to appear for a blessing of Peace and Joy.

“There is forgiveness, mercy and redemption in the Spirit of God’s Appearance in the Sun of Righteousness. Eternal Truth and the beginning of infinite Knowledge in the Image and the Word is granted to those who follow The Way, walk the Path of Righteousness, live according to Divine Law, and partake of the Bread of Life and the Living Waters. That which was longed for by the Righteous of olden times and which is longed for by the present generation of the Righteous – those who possessed the world when it was young and those who possess a world grown old – has come. The Day of their Salvation has come. The sun of the world has been lit with the Light of my Spirit, and by that Light I shall light the Spirits of the Righteous who shall shine as the sun, and all the Righteous who dwell on the Earth and all the Righteous who dwell in Heaven shall be as One Light, and no more shall there be Darkness in My Creation.”

This is something we must tell every nation and every people everywhere. We have begun in America. We have planted a tree in Japan. And we are now planting a seed in Mexico. Other seeds will also spread to other places.

ANCIENT SCRIPTURE AND WISDOM SAYINGS

A Reading from the Revelation of John:

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is at hand. . . . Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him. . . .

I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

I, John, your brother and partner with you in the oppression, Kingdom, and perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God’s Word. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a trumpet saying, “What you see, write in a book and send to the seven communities : to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. Having turned, I saw seven golden lamp stands. And among the lamp stands was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest. His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire. His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters. He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest. When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man.

He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last, and the Living One. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter; the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lamp stands. The seven stars are the angels of the seven communities. The seven lamp stands are the seven communities.

As we close the Easter Season, we are reminded of the importance of this special time of year. Yesterday, Sunday, hundreds of millions of people celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And, tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18, we of the Second Advent/Cosolargy Community celebrate True Easter according to the solar calendar.

But how do we as Cosolargists, most of us having come from one of the various Christian churches, reconcile ourselves with this ancient observance? How do we, who do not accept the physical resurrection of the material body but rather the spiritual resurrection of the spiritual Light Body or Soul, harmonize ourselves with this “holy week” which emphasizes the pain, sorrow and suffering of the man Jesus?

In English, we can trace Eostre to an important goddess called Hausos from the proto Indo-European religion who was the Goddess of the Dawn. Her name was later reconstructed as Ausos, and in India was known as Usas. Spreading eventually to Greece and Rome, she was Eos in Greek and Aurora in Latin.

The name was derived from the root “to shine,” which translated into “the Shining One.” The English word “East” is derived from this word. In the Anglo-Saxon world, the entire month of April was celebrated as the new year in which the Goddess of the Dawn was liberated by God from imprisonment. In the Rigveda, she is known as Indra and Dionysus to the ancient Greeks. So we see that this is an important time of the year – Spring, the time of regeneration and renewal.

But again, how does knowing this help us to understand. How do we, who do not teach that Jesus was the paschal lamb whose blood was shed for the atonement of sins, come to terms with the millions of people who do? How do we, who reject the Crucifixion as “good” and that it was rather the murder of a Son of Light by the civil and religious authorities of the day bring that into accord with our own Teaching?

We do so by emphasizing what we know to be Jesus’ true message: First, that we are all endowed by the Creator of our spiritual Beings with an eternal and immortal Soul if we but cause the Divine Generative Force – Christ, the Word/Logos – to penetrate into our spiritual womb. Second, that once we consent to the Word of God – the Logos – to impregnate our Spirit, that Spirit becomes animated by the Thought and Will of God the Father and becomes a living, breathing, Conscious Soul able to reason on heavenly things. Third, that once imbued with Christ Consciousness, the Soul, released from the cycle of generated existence, recalls and remembers its spiritual origin and heritage and consciously participates in the Worlds of Light, continually partaking of a Divine Communion.

That was the message of Jesus, and that is the message of Cosolargy, the Jamilian University, and the Second Advent Community. He prophesied a future time – a time when Christ, the mediating force between Man and God, would appear out of the heavens in great power and glory echoing the older prophecies of Isaiah and Malachi:

1 See the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the Lord of Hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But for you who revere my name the Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing in its rays. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. 3 And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts. [Malachi 4]

These lines speak of the end of times when God will come again at His Second Advent with a Light never before bestowed that will feed and nurture the Spirit at the great messianic banquet served from the True Temple. The message is clear: We must partake of the Divine Food that nourishes the Soul which is found within the transubstantiated and transfigured Sun that everyone can partake of to attain the Union with the Godhead that Jesus exemplified. This is the True Resurrection.

I leave you with these words from the Gospel of John, Chapter 12: 35…Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you; for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. 

And Chapter 14: 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself : but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me….12Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he also do; and greater works than these he shall do.…15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abode with you forever. 

Important words. Inspiring words. Know that our Fellowship in Light is strengthened and renewed each time we meet in the Sun. Until next time, I send you many blessings in Light.+
