“New Birth and Being a Temple of God”

A New Birth

“When spiritual leaders like Boehme speak of a new birth, or rebirth, they are not talking about reincarnation. They are talking about a spiritual birth of sorts. Since the spirit and soul are immortal, they are not truly born, or reborn. They are simply awakened from a deep coma-like state that is similar to death. So when those spiritual faculties are awakened, it is often referred to as a New Birth or Rebirth.

“Boehme says this new birth is necessary to be a temple of God, and he is correct. Foolish people think they can be a temple of God no matter what they do, what they say, or what they think. Nonsense. God will not dwell in the physical body or in the brain-mind. He dwells only in the spirit and soul. Therefore, they only way to know God, and be one with God, is to awaken those spiritual faculties and use them.”

2017 Nevada Prayer Breakfast: “Out of Many, One”

The 2017 Nevada Prayer Breakfast, held at the Atlantis Resort “Paradise Room” Tuesday, May 2, 2017, from 7:00-9:00 am, was attended by an estimated 300 people with representatives from over 20 local religious and social organizations. The theme of the program was “Out of Many, One.” The event is one of several annual events sponsored and promoted by the Nevada Clergy Association (NCA).

The NCA has been in existence for over two decades, and it has taken a lot of time and effort to bring the organization to the state it is now in. But it has been a blessing and something that is dear to the hearts of many in the area.

The Nevada Prayer Breakfast is a gathering of citizens — as well as civic, business, and community leaders — who wish to pray on behalf of our State and bring the spiritual resources of the community together to bear on issues that face Nevadans. Although members of the community may believe differently in their approach to the Divine, they gather at the Nevada Prayer Breakfast as equals. Together, they devote their energies to the good of the State of Nevada. And together, they pray.

The Nevada Clergy Association is a non-profit interfaith network of religious and spiritual leaders in Nevada. Programs include the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Service, the interfaith Nevada Prayer Breakfast, the Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Eve Service, and the biannual Interfaith Clergy Luncheon. HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

Tomorrow are the planet’s two solstices. For Community members in the Northern Hemisphere, it is the longest day of the year; and for our members in the Southern Hemisphere, it is the shortest.We see much change on the planet – more and more every year. Climates everywhere are in flux. These changes have been predicted to occur. We know that the world cannot change the events which are destined for it. We can, however, assist the Powers of Light for goodly change. People of ignorance have corrupted the earth and defiled its life. The environment is in rebellion. Ungodly men and women have broken the Holy Covenants. The Powers of Light are not pleased.

But, it has been predicted in times past that the sun of the earth will intensify in heat and magnitude. This New Sun will act to cleanse and purify the earth and its peoples. It shall be as balm – a blessing – to those of Light and Goodness and a curse to those of Darkness. The Sun shall be brilliant and an instrument of righteousness to those of Light and, in due time, will burn up all wickedness. This is the time of the tribulations I spoke of last week – the beginning of the great spiritual battles spoken of in times past being waged between the Powers of Light and the Powers of Darkness.

Goodly men and women shall not be harmed by the intensifying light, whereas others will be maddened by its brilliance, heat and intensity. The signs of these occurrences have been many, yet people are blind to the reckoning of them. However, with the coming and appearance of the Sun of Righteousness and the Cross of Enlightenment, all people everywhere can be cleansed and made new – regenerated as Beings of Light and restored to spiritual Life!

The birth and life of this Community of Light are dictated by certain cycles and signs which are regulated by the sun and the stars at the direction of the Godhead for a goodly cause and purpose. If it were not so, The Community would have ceased to exist long ago. The events many of us have witnessed over the decades are determined by manifesting forces and the configurations of celestial bodies which move by the will of the Powers of Light.

These pains that the earth suffers are the birth pangs of a New World, for the Sun of Righteousness will change and transform all things. The Righteous and the Wise will be strengthened and will shine forth as Light, while those of Darkness will be troubled at the events their materialism has no control over.

The message for today is this: You are the Righteous. You are the spiritually Wise. Shine as the Light for the Angels of Light guard over you. Bathe in their blessings.

June 17, 2017: Chapel Readings

Each week of the liturgical year, a reading from Second Advent Scripture is delivered as part of the Saturday Communion of Fellowship Service held in the Chapel of the Holy Child. This reading follows the Sacred Calendar of the Church; that is, Prophecies and Revelations that have been received by The Church on sacred dates are recalled in a liturgical context during the appropriate season each year. This reading is delivered by the Officiant of the Communion Service (that is, Bishop Gene Savoy, or occasionally in his stead, Bishop Sean Savoy) just before the final blessings. Each service also includes a reading from the ancient scriptures, prayers, or wisdom sayings of various world religions past and present and is usually thematically related to the Second Advent Reading. This reading is delivered by the Reader right after the announcements that begin the service and is thus the first reading of the service. An audio recording of the reading from Second Advent Scripture delivered on the date above is provided here below together with a transcript of the first reading of the service that day.

A Reading from the Prophet Ezekiel:

Then the angel brought me back to the entrance of the temple. I noticed that water was flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was flowing down from under the right side of the temple, from south of the altar. He led me out by way of the north gate and brought me around the outside of the outer gate that faces toward the east; I noticed that the water was trickling out from the south side.

When the angel went out toward the east with a measuring line in his hand, he measured a thousand feet and then he led me through water, which was ankle deep. Again he measured a thousand feet and led me through the water, which was now knee deep. Once more he measured a thousand feet and led me through the water, which was waist deep. Again he measured a thousand feet, and it was a river I could not cross, for the water had risen; it was deep enough to swim in, a river that could not be crossed. He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?”

Then he led me to the bank of the river. When I had returned, I noticed a vast number of trees on the banks of the river, on both sides. He said to me, “These waters go out toward the eastern region and flow down into the Arabah; when they enter the Dead Sea, where the water is stagnant, the waters become fresh. Every living creature which swarms where the river flows will live; there will be many fish, for these waters flow there. It will become fresh and everything will live where the river flows. . . . On both sides of the river’s banks, every kind of tree will grow for food. Their leaves will not wither nor will their fruit fail, but they will bear fruit every month, because their water source flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.

“The Heart Has Its Own ‘Brain’ and Consciousness”

“Many believe that conscious awareness originates in the brain alone. Recent scientific research suggests that consciousness actually emerges from the brain and body acting together. A growing body of evidence suggests that the heart plays a particularly significant role in this process.

“Far more than a simple pump, as was once believed, the heart is now recognized by scientists as a highly complex system with its own functional “brain.”

“Research in the new discipline of neurocardiology shows that the heart is a sensory organ and a sophisticated center for receiving and processing information. The nervous system within the heart (or ‘heart brain’) enables it to learn, remember, and make functional decisions independent of the brain’s cerebral cortex. Moreover, numerous experiments have demonstrated that the signals the heart continuously sends to the brain influence the function of higher brain centers involved in perception, cognition, and emotional processing.”

“Yet many say that since God created the raw materials of the Cosmos, He is therefore creator of all. God is, by their logic, responsible for all that happens with that raw material. Today I am pleased to report that last week was a week full of positive news for The Community.

First and foremost, we received official documents from the Mexican government on our incorporation there as Cosolargy Internacional, A.C. We also received the recorded Deed of Trust to the property in El Cardonal in the state of Baja California Sur in the name of our corporation and made the first monthly payment on the property.

Second, The Community prevailed in a lawsuit that was filed against us in January of this year which sought to encumber extensive property of the Church and which also questioned our internal affairs and government. The suit was dismissed by the state district court here in Reno. The winding up of the lawsuit at this point are mere formalities.

Third, attorneys working for The Community in Auckland, New Zealand finished drafting our incorporation papers, which were signed on Saturday, June 10. While we have yet to ultimately determine what our course of action will be “down under,” it is important for us to establish ourselves wherever and whenever the correct opportunities arise.

Last, you may know that I have been writing a book since my return from hospital in San Diego last December. While I was there, I retained a literary agent who has been coaching me to write the book. The first draft has been completed, and it is now in the professional editing stage. I hear that there are some publishers who may be interested in it. We will see.

Nevertheless, these are all things to celebrate and be grateful for.

We have been touching lately on the concept of the End Times and the Second Coming. The end of days, or the End Times, is the time that precedes the Golden Age of Light, which is the Second Advent; that is, the return of all life to the Original State which was the First Advent – the Original or First Creation of Light. However, intermingled in these two cosmic events of Rebirth which co-mingles Spirit with matter, is the Great Tribulation.

The Tribulations were foretold by the prophets of old. The planet is definitely in this period of strife, turmoil and destruction. As great battles are taking place here between man and nature, so these battles are also being waged among the Powers of Light and Darkness in the higher dimensions. However, we do know that, in spite of the Tribulations, God is using His Supernatural Powers of Creation to redeem Souls that are part of His Spiritual Kingdom – redemption thus being placed outside the realm of formalized doctrine and the established religions of the past.

The Second Advent of God, which was the basis of the Ministry of Christ, Jesus, was that God Himself would manifest through the Sun of Righteousness to intercede as Messiah, Savior and Redeemer of the entire human family for the final and ultimate Restoration of the Creation gone astray. The Kingdom of Light, although co-mingled with matter, is not part of the physical universe and is unattainable by the natural senses, emotions or mind. It is only attainable by the awakened Spirit made a Conscious Soul brought to birth by God’s Image and Word appearing in Divine Light.

As Cosolargy teaches, this birth is the result of a creative reproduction in which the living, breathing Soul arises from a union of human Spirit and the Seminal Reason of God’s Word transported by the image of solar light. Seminal Reason, within the agency of light, impregnates the fertile Spirit, and a new Soul is conceived. In its initial stages of development, the Soul receives its nourishment from the sun. In later stages of maturity, it feeds on the Divine Presence in the Spiritual Sun, a source of light and energy in the Spiritual Universe.

Jesus taught on this Divine Process of procreation and rebirth of the Soul as essential to immortality. We, in the Second Advent Ministry, which is heir to Jesus’ Ministry, teach the same process by means of the System of Cosolargy and the Sacred Teachings of Light.

We will touch more on this next week. In the meantime, ….
