The Sun displays electric arc behavior.

The sun is new each day.
— Heraclitus

“The Electronic Sun theory presupposes that sunspots, flares, coronal heating, and coronal mass ejections are due to changes in the Sun’s galactic electrical supply. The contention is that the Sun is powered externally, and is not a fusion reactor. Instead, Birkeland current filaments carry electricity through the Milky Way, supplying the Sun with variable power.”

“Spiritual Work in the Vineyards of God”

“It is preferable for man to go through sufferings rather than spend an easy, luxurious life; it is preferable for man to stay all day in the vineyard, to get blisters on his hands and to get his face sunburned rather than have no blisters and his face remain fair, not touched by the Sun. One who works at the Divine Vineyard will always have a share in it. Nature likes hard-working, diligent people while it turns its back on lazy people. … If you work, nature will help you and God will assist you.” ~Biensa Douno

Workers Rule!

If you would believe the people currently running most countries in the world, you would believe that greed and laziness are great virtues. Likewise, if you believe most in the medical community, you will hide as much as possible from the sun that is out to get you. Both of those beliefs, however, are wrong, especially for spiritual people.

This doesn’t mean you have to suffer in the sense that is often depicted in movies where saints could only achieve enlightenment after suffering greatly by prosecution, painful disease, or the death of loved ones. While it is true that such events can trigger one to began searching for spiritual truth, that doesn’t mean such extreme suffering is necessary.

On the other hand, if you think that just closing your eyes and visualizing yourself as an enlightened master will make it happen, you are also wrong. Thinking about it and visualizing it can be helpful. The most important thing, however, is working at it. Like everything else in the realm of matter, things spiritual must be earned.

WEEKLY MESSAGE: December 6, 2017

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

December 6, 2017

We have often heard, “What does it profit a man if he gains the entire world but loses his Soul?” What an excellent question! We see the world becoming ever more so materialistic rejecting the true gain which is life everlasting. The world rejects the state of immortality (gained while we live in the material world) which is the sharing and comprehension of Divine Reason that fills the Universe as the sea fills the floors of the oceans.

We, especially in America, have an abundance of all things, and it is not fitting that we reject the greater abundance which God gives to us. For the greatest gifts are God’s Gifts, which He freely gives to us. And the greater Good is the birth of the Religion of Light come to the world by the Hand of God. How can we, men and women of intelligence, reject such a gift? Yet, both people of plenty and people without plenty do. We, of this Community, know that the material things and possessions are of little value without spiritual love, character, and freedom. For without embracing the spiritual, all that is acquired is temporary, transitory, and taken away as quickly as it was given.

So, in order to understand spiritual values, we must understand Divine Reason. But, in order to comprehend Divine Reason dictates that we must become divine. And that is the purpose of this Teaching and of this Church Community. For God has filled the Sun and the Ether, which is outside of the realm of the Earth’s atmosphere, with a divine Intelligence which has its origins in the Consciousness of God! And this is the fruit of the Sun of Righteousness.

This Divine Reason, which is streaming forth out of the Sun of Righteousness and is funneled through it, is the Consciousness and Thought of God acting upon the consciousness of man and woman. And this Divine Reason is filling the Ether as a seed impregnating the Spirit giving it individual and personal Life. For the Spirit of Man is like a sleeping Soul that must be reborn and awakened. And once awakened and renewed, the individual and personal Spirit-Soul reasons on divine things.

The ancients called the True Reason of Nature, “Logos.” And the Logos was the Light that created the First Man and the First Woman, as we have spoken of previously. And the ancients compared the Light to the beam of God’s Eye, which was the image of the Sun, and contained God’s Thought. We have only to look upon the Eye of God to see into the Soul of Creation. However, in order to accomplish this great feat, one must be instructed in Divine Religion, which allows man and woman to withstand and comprehend the Light, as well as the nature of God’s Word called the Logos.

As we approach the Christmas Season, we are reminded of Christ Jesus who exemplified the Life of Righteousness and embodied the Logos. He was the Word of God incarnate in Man. If we recall the words of John in his Gospel, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father,” we are reminded that Jesus is telling us not only to exemplify him but also to exceed him in his works. That is the theme of the Ministry of the Second Advent: To emulate Christ and to be miniature Suns in the world through our Light-natures.

I wish you the best of the Christmas-Epiphany Season, as we approach December 25 through January 6. We will continue on these topics over the next several weeks.

Once again, please feel free to ask me any questions by calling 775-786-7432 or emailing me at messages@cosolargy.org. I am always at your service.

December 2, 2017: Chapel Readings

Right Reverend Gene Savoy Jr.

Each week of the liturgical year, a reading from Second Advent Scripture is delivered as part of the Saturday Communion of Fellowship Service held in the Chapel of the Holy Child. This reading follows the Sacred Calendar of the Church; that is, Prophecies and Revelations that have been received by The Church on sacred dates are recalled in a liturgical context during the appropriate season each year. This reading is delivered just before the final blessings. Each service also includes a reading from the ancient scriptures, prayers, or wisdom sayings of various world religions past and present and is usually thematically related to the Second Advent Reading. This reading is delivered by the Reader right after the announcements that begin the service and is thus the first reading of the service. An audio recording of the reading from Second Advent Scripture delivered on the date above is provided here below together with a transcript of the first reading of the service that day.

SECOND ADVENT PROPHECY AND REVELATION

A Reading from the Second Prophecy to the Americas, Chapter 35: “On the Existence of Divine Reason” (pp. 231-238).

ANCIENT SCRIPTURE AND WISDOM SAYINGS

A Reading from the Testament of Levi:

Then shall the Lord raise up a new priest. And to him all the words of the Lord shall be revealed; And he shall execute a righteous judgement upon the earth for a multitude of days. And his star shall arise in heaven as a king. Lighting up the light of knowledge as the sun the day, And he shall be magnified in the world. He shall shine forth as the sun on the earth, And shall remove all darkness from under heaven, And there shall be peace in all the earth. The heavens shall exult in his days, And the earth shall be glad, And the clouds shall rejoice, And the knowledge of the Lord shall be poured forth upon the earth, as the water of the seas; And the angels of the glory of the presence of the Lord shall be glad in him. The heavens shall be opened, And from the temple of glory shall come upon him sanctification, with the Father’s voice. And the glory of the Most High shall be uttered over him, And the spirit of understanding and sanctification shall rest upon him in the water. For he shall give the majesty of the Lord to His sons in truth for evermore; And there shall none succeed him for all generations for ever. And in his priesthood the nations shall be multiplied in knowledge upon the earth, And enlightened through the grace of the Lord: In his priesthood shall sin come to an end, And the lawless shall cease to do evil. And the just shall rest in him. And he shall open the gates of paradise, And shall remove the threatening sword. And he shall give to the saints to eat from the tree of life, And the spirit of holiness shall be on them. And he shall give power to His children to tread upon the evil spirits. And the Lord shall rejoice in His children, And be well pleased in His beloved ones for ever.

“Kindling Sun And Levels of Life”

“If we consider now the springing up of the Life, and in what place of the body it is where life is generated, then we shall rightly find the whole Ground of Man. .. For we must needs say that the heart is the place wherein the noble life is generated. … So the Life in the anguish, with the kindling of the Light, takes its beginning from the glance of the Sunshine, from the spirit of the stars and elements. … For when man departed from paradise into another birth (viz. Into the spirit of this world…) then the paradisiacal vision was extinguished, where man see from Divine Virtue, without need of the Sun. …

“But the soul of Adam went out from the Principle of God, into the principle of this world. … And therefore if we would be fit for the Kingdom of Heaven, we must be regenerated anew in the spirit of God, … that it may be a fountain for the thirsty, and a light to the noble way.” ~Jacob Boehme

Life from the Heart

Jacob Boehme was not confused about sex and the physical process of making a baby. When he says that life is generated in the heart, he may mean one of two things. He may be saying that t is only because of the desires of the heart that a couple decide to have a baby, that the heart is where life is truly generated. But I don’t think that is what he meant because he says “noble life”. So he is really saying that spiritual life, or noble life, start with the heart. But he doesn’t mean the physical organ. He means the energy center, or chakra, that is centered in that part of the body. So he is really talking about awakening, or giving life to, the spirit and soul.

Pastor David Arnold and Bishop Gene Savoy Jr. Meet

Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California

Bishop Gene Savoy Jr. met with Pastor David Arnold of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California during a visit to San Diego this past summer to discuss community outreach methods.

Saddleback Church is an evangelical Christian megachurch located in Lake Forest, California, situated in southern Orange County, affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The church was founded in 1980 by Pastor Rick Warren. Weekly church attendance averages over 20,000 people, currently making it the fifth-largest church in the United States by attendance (this ranking includes multi-site churches).

Mr. David Tofolo of Orange County, California, a friend of Bishop Savoy, offered to introduce him to the Senior Pastor of the church, Rick Warren, while Gene and his wife Radheka were in San Diego on other business. Another associate of Gene, Ed Crowder, a prominent Orange County businessman, attended the meeting. Bishop Gene and Pastor Arnold spoke on their respective churches, community outreach, marketing, membership, message, preaching and teaching styles, and youth involvement.

Pastor Arnold complimented Bishop Savoy on the ministry of the International Community of Christ, saying that he had heard of the Church and that the Church base was very strong. He offered to help Bishop Savoy in any way that he could in the future. Their meeting, which lasted about an hour, concluded with a moment of prayer.

WEEKLY MESSAGE: November 28, 2017

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

November 28, 2017

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful, peaceful and tranquil Thanksgiving. It is now the time that we turn our attention to the Christmas-Epiphany Season and celebrate its meaning, as well as the life of Jesus Christ, a Holy Being of Light come into the world as God’s Agent.

It is believed by the Old Churches that we are redeemed by the shedding of Jesus’ blood and the by the eating of his flesh in order to attain salvation through belief. This is their understanding. But, we of the Second Advent Church say that man and woman is redeemed by God’s Light through the coming of the great Sun of Righteousness and not by the flesh and blood of His Son and Messenger.

We know and are taught in this Teaching that the death of Jesus on the tree was in no way a sacrifice worthy of God but an abomination to the Light by those of Darkness who caused it. The parables spoken by Jesus were meant to convey that it was by the eating of God’s Light come from the Sun that we are redeemed. Because Jesus was the Word — the Logos — incarnate in Man and because he was part of that Light, he was authorized to declare this. He proclaimed and demonstrated that he was of that Light, as are all Holy Ones of God.

His Ministry was to teach people how to partake of the Light so that they would never spiritually hunger and thirst again. Because his Ministry was cut short, we of the Second Advent Ministry have come to fulfill it. Jesus ate of the Bread of Life and was therefore of the Light. We have been told, “The ancient Hebrews who ate manna in the desert did not attain salvation from the eating of it. For all things of the flesh pass away. But for those who partake of the Light that comes down from Heaven — the Bread of God, His Image in the world — do not die. For the Light of God is the Living Bread which He gives for the life of the world.”

God gave this bread — the Bread of Life — through the Sun in Jesus’ time and in other times, but time and again people rejected it and it was withdrawn to come again in the Final Age. This is the Final Age, and we should rejoice that God has sent again the Bread of Life from the Tree of Life which is the spiritual Sun which fed the first Man and the first Woman. This new Sun, which we call the Sun of Righteousness, comes for the first time to the world under the direction of God the Father Himself!

God intends the whole human family to know the Truth and benefit from it. But even today, we see much dissention, discord, disharmony, anarchy and unholiness among the peoples of the world. For this reason, our Community has been established as a teaching institution so that all people may someday know and live the Way of Truth and turn from the ways of error.

In due time, good people who have forsaken error, as well as the traditional teachings and religions of their fore-bearers, shall see the beauty and truth of this New Teaching. And people of all nations, of all religions, of all races shall return to God with understanding and joy. And death shall be overcome. And life as it was intended from the beginning shall be known and experienced by all. This is the task of our Ministry: To bring this New Teaching into the world for all mankind for the ultimate peace of the world.

Therefore, my message for this week is to 1) Rejoice, 2) Understand and be Understanding, 3) be Joyful, and 4) bring Peace to others, to yourself, and especially to project and send Peace into the Sun of Righteousness.

Once again, please feel free to ask me any questions by calling 775-786-7432 or emailing me at messages@cosolargy.org. I am always at your service.
