“Renovate Yourself With Spiritual Light”

“One day people will be traveling without ships, trains or planes. They will have a new type of body, shaped and structured differently. They will have a new kind of Light and Knowledge. … Then they will not toil the land as they do now, but sustain themselves in a way unknown to today’s scientists.

“To renovate yourselves, you have to get up early every morning to be able to receive the first rays of the Sun. They carry within them light and elevated thoughts. You may say that the rays of light are nothing more than vibrations oscillations of ether. It is true that light is oscillations, vibrations, but these are life-bearing vibrations.”
~Biensa Douno

Future Travel

Douno says that we will one day travel without the need for trains, planes, or ships. That day is probably a long way off. But even today it is possible with the right training and attitude to engage in spiritual travel. In this way, one can travel a great distance instantly, see what is there, and return just as quickly.

2017 Interfaith Thanksgiving Eve Service Held

This year marked the 32nd annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Eve Service. The performance of this interfaith service is a much-revered tradition in the Northern Nevada community and one that is largely unique nationwide in its scope of faith diversity.

This year’s service, titled “The Doctrine of Inclusion,” was held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 7 p.m. It was hosted by Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sparks, Nevada. Elder Ren Johasan of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints delivered the keynote address. Monetary donations gathered were given to the 2018 NIA Youth Conference. Food donations were used to feed the hungry through the St. Francis of Assissi Food Pantry.

This worship service of prayers, readings and music from a variety of faith traditions was organized by the coordinating council of the Nevada Interfaith Organization, the renamed Nevada Clergy Association, of which Bishop Gene Savoy Jr. was president until this year. Bishop Savoy presented the “Thanksgiving Hymn” from the Dead Sea Scrolls as part of the program.

Also in attendance from the Second Advent Church were Radheka Patel Savoy, Claudia Grady, and Noriko, Joseph and Robert Roy.

WEEKLY MESSAGE: December 20, 2017

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

December 20, 2017

Last week, I touched on the concept of judgement for the unrighteous and ungodly of the world. This week, let’s talk about the opposite: the judgement of the righteous and the good.

We teach that God, in His supreme grandeur and greatness, has sent into the Universe the Sun of Righteousness which sheds redeeming Light which everyone everywhere can participate in. The sign of the Sun of Righteousness is the Cross of Enlightenment, the Messianic or Christ Force. Both, the Sun and the Cross, are heavenly forces which no one can change or alter as has been done in the past with the teachings of Holy Ones and Prophets of God, such as Jesus. No one can escape the coming Judgement by the Great Light.

People have always asked why God allows suffering, illness and death in the world. But we of this Community know that it is not God who causes this grief, but the acts of arrogant and rebellious Angels who ignored the Law of God. God is so vast in His Greatness and Power that no mind can comprehend that greatness and power. He is above the limitations of personality.

People, more often than not, judge God or discard and disregard Him altogether. Again, these are the rebellious and arrogant who choose to break the laws laid down by former generations of the Holy, yet they do not understand the results of their actions. The grand and noble Teachings of Holy Ones of times past have been belittled by the world and made almost childlike in their simplicity. But I dare say that to keep God’s laws demands all of man and woman’s wisdom and energies. It is not necessarily a matter of “thou shalt not” do this or that, but rather by the living of God’s commandments. This is the dedication of a lifetime.

God’s commandments and laws are not known or understood by ignorant minds. They are only understood by those who have evolved by the Grace of God’s redeeming Light and who have communion with the Angelic Beings and the Worlds of Light. It is not by force that we understand God’s ordinances, but rather by understanding and by love that the wise acknowledge and obey God. Those who do so are the righteous and the goodly who, with love and understanding and wisdom, receive a blessing from the Light, rather than a curse.

Therefore, it is by our own free will and actions that results in the judgement determined. We determine the result. A sane person would no more break God’s laws than throw himself off a high building. For to do so will result in certain pain and suffering and even death. It is not God’s judgement that results in this suffering, pain or death, but the breaking of an immutable law. Why blame God when the results of wrongdoing are self evident?

Jamil came as the Messenger of God to announce to all men and women everywhere the new conditions prevailing in the world and what course to take. Jesus predicted the New Advent and the Comforter to come. The righteous and goodly have but to understand the new condition and generate the necessary wisdom to work within it in order to reap the benefits.

For thousands of years people have awaited the coming of this New Age and the accompanying Sun of Righteousness. This promise has been fulfilled in our messianic time. It has come as a result of much labor and service by holy men and women or former generations in all parts of the world from every great religion. It has come at the completion of a grand cycle when the sun of our solar system has passed into a favorable position in the universe of space and time. By this, God has been able to and will continue to reach the minds, hearts and spirits of righteous and goodly men and women who have for so long lived in a most unfavorable environment.

Therefore, the judgement of the goodly who acknowledge the coming of Christ into the world through the Sun of Righteousness is everlasting life with God. And this salvation comes directly from God through the grace of His redeeming Light and not by any other means – neither by blind obedience to former laws, nor by sacrifice, nor by the shedding of the blood of His Son.

I believe this is an appropriate message as we enter the Christmas-Epiphany Season. I send you my best personal wishes for a happy, joyous and blessed Christmas.

December 16, 2017: Chapel Readings

Right Reverend Gene Savoy Jr.

Each week of the liturgical year, a reading from Second Advent Scripture is delivered as part of the Saturday Communion of Fellowship Service held in the Chapel of the Holy Child. This reading follows the Sacred Calendar of the Church; that is, Prophecies and Revelations that have been received by The Church on sacred dates are recalled in a liturgical context during the appropriate season each year. This reading is delivered just before the final blessings. Each service also includes a reading from the ancient scriptures, prayers, or wisdom sayings of various world religions past and present and is usually thematically related to the Second Advent Reading. This reading is delivered by the Reader right after the announcements that begin the service and is thus the first reading of the service. An audio recording of the reading from Second Advent Scripture delivered on the date above is provided here below together with a transcript of the first reading of the service that day.

SECOND ADVENT PROPHECY AND REVELATION

A Reading from the First Prophecy to the Americas, Chapter 7: “On the Judgement of Goodly Men” (pp. 89-94).

ANCIENT SCRIPTURE AND WISDOM SAYINGS

A Reading from the Gospel According to Matthew:

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “. . . what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of the birth pains. . . .

“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. . . .

“So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”

“Supreme Good and Why We Seek It”

“All mortal creatures … strive to reach one goal—the goal of happiness. Now the Good is that which, when a man hath got, he can lack nothing further. That it is which is the supreme good of all. … To this state, as we have said, all men try to attain, but by different paths. For the desire of the true good is naturally implanted in the minds of men; only error leads them aside … in pursuit of the false. Some, deeming it the highest good to want for nothing, spare no pain to attain affluence. Others, judging the good to be that to which respect is most worthily paid, strive to win the reverence of their fellow-citizens by the attainment of official dignity. Some there are who fix the chief good in supreme power; these either wish themselves to enjoy sovereignty, or try to attach themselves o those who have it. … Although opinions are so various and discordant, yet they agree in cherishing good as the end.” ~Boethius

Striving

While we live in an age where some people seem to never strive for anything, most still do strive. And nearly all strive for what they consider to be “The Good,” as Boethius states. That is as it should be.

We all need to strive for several reasons. One reason is that striving gives us something productive to do. Another is that growth comes from striving. Progress comes from striving. Those who refuse to strive, but just float through life like a piece of driftwood accomplish nothing. Even on the spiritual level, you must strive for spiritual growth. If you just sit back and wait for it to happen, it won’t.

WEEKLY MESSAGE: December 13, 2017

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

December 13, 2017

Along with inspiration and words that uplift, there sometimes must also be messages of a different kind. So today, I would like to touch on the prophesied coming judgement of the unrighteous and ungodly. This judgement is already manifesting to those who ignore the commandments of God in the New Advent given through the ascendant Sun of Righteousness. And, as we know and teach, this New Sun is transforming the world as surely as we live and breath, and no one is immune to its effects.

As God’s Word comes forth in all of its almightiness, everyone must know that God’s Word is One. It is incomprehensible to those who, through their ungodliness, impiety and irreverence to that Word made manifest in Light, profane Him. Their profanity will result in a most harmful mutation of being, for no one on Earth under the rays of this New Sun can or will benefit from wrongdoing and selfish materialistic ends.

Some say that if evil and darkness exist then evil and darkness must be equal to goodness and light. We know for sure that evil and darkness do indeed exist being the result of wrongdoing and the breaking of God’s Law. However, their existence is no more equal to God than is suffering, illness and death. The Cross of Enlightenment has come to enlighten godly men and women. Those of ungodliness will be maddened by that Light. It is happening. We see it all around us everyday.

God’s Light comes to judge both the righteous and the unrighteous alike. For those who embrace Darkness, there will be much suffering and illness of body, mind and Soul. As the Earth shall someday be burned up by the Light of God’s New Sun, so also shall the unrighteous and ungodly be burned up by that Light. For the good and the righteous, the Light shall be a healing balm gently placed upon their Spirits and Souls.

These concepts are described in our Prophecies (First Prophecy to the Americas) for the purpose of allowing people the opportunity to choose their path accordingly. For God, not being the author sorrow, disease or death, would not that His children suffer. However, God does send His Rays of Judgement to the ungodly and the unrighteous for the sake of the godly and the righteous who have long-suffered at their unjust hands. In due time, the days of injustice will come to an end.

Once again, please feel free to ask me any questions by calling 775-786-7432 or emailing me at messages@cosolargy.org. I am always at your service.

SECOND ADVENT PROPHECY AND REVELATION

A Reading from the First Prophecy to the Americas, Chapter 8: “On the Judgement of Ungodly Men” (pp. 95-97).

ANCIENT SCRIPTURE AND WISDOM SAYINGS

A Reading from Solomon’s Book of Wisdom

I called on God, and the spirit of wisdom came to me. I preferred her to scepters and thrones, and I accounted wealth as nothing in comparison with her. Neither did I liken to her any priceless gem, because all gold is but a little sand in her sight, and silver will be accounted as clay before her. I loved her more than health and beauty, and I chose to have her, because her radiance never ceases. All good things came to me along with her, and in her hands uncounted wealth.

I learned both what is secret and what is manifest, for wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me. There is in her a spirit that is intelligent, holy, unique, manifold, subtle, mobile, clear, unpolluted, distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen, irresistible, beneficent, humane, steadfast, sure, free from anxiety, all-powerful, overseeing all, and penetrating through all spirits that are intelligent, pure, and altogether subtle. For wisdom is more mobile than any motion; because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things. For she is a breath of the power of God, and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty; therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her. For she is a reflection of eternal light, a spotless mirror of the working of God, and an image of his goodness. Although she is but one, she can do all things, and while remaining in herself, she renews all things; in every generation she passes into holy souls and makes them friends of God, and prophets; for God loves nothing so much as the person who lives with wisdom. She is more beautiful than the sun, and excels every constellation of the stars. Compared with the light she is found to be superior, for it is succeeded by the night, but against wisdom evil does not prevail.
