HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

It is with excitement that we have been preparing for our annual gathering of Ministers and Consociates next week. For those of you who will be joining us in Reno, I look forward to our fellowship together. For those of you who are unable to attend, I send you my best personal regards and hope you will make every effort to be with us next year. Due to next week’s busy schedule, I will not be able to communicate with you in writing. However, I would like to share some thoughts.

We know that the world labors under great division. Nations view the world and its peoples according to limited ideologies. They impress their laws upon their people believing those laws to be just and right. However, that is not True Law. Religions proclaim diverse theologies and beliefs, and their followers accept that diversity. However, that is not True Religion. Even religion itself seems to be disintegrating before our very eyes. This is especially true in America where materialism is at an all time high.

One of the reasons for this is that the divided self reasons and observes, yet lives outside the Light of God’s Image and Word. The things which it perceives as good or right or just stem from the reasoning self. This eventually leads to misfortune, suffering, and sorrow because all things outside of God – not being part of Spirit – are born of the very nature sown in discord and disharmony. When the Creation is restored to its original state as it was in the beginning, i.e., Light, then unity will exist. The unity of which I speak is beyond human understanding for only the Spirit awakened by the Light can truly understand. This, then, is True Understanding, for the restored Soul sees the need for unity.

Though we may try with all of our might to be good, righteous, and just; though we may seek peace above all things; though we may strive to unify others (whether family, friends, or others) the law of nature dictates that separation and independence dominate reason. Everything is set against collective order. Generated natural life outside of the created Spirit is set apart. Each is different from the other. There is no accord or amity. Unfortunately, all are rivals. Generation demands that the progeny consume the progenitor – the generated living off the generated. In this world, all ends in death.

However, the Spirit is created by God’s Light, and the Soul lives by means of the manifesting Light within God’s Image and Word. This Light is Breath of Life of Soul. Once a Spirit is reborn a Soul, and that Soul is nurtured by God’s Light, it is unified with God and comes under the rule of Divine Law. It has a separate life outside of the natural order and that of Darkness.

Having its own life, the Soul exists by means of the Image and Word within Light. It reasons on divine things. It observes a divine world separate from the natural world. It sees the reasoning self as a former friend who is doomed to perish but is looked upon with loving kindness. That reasoning, material self, not identified with God or part of His Kingdom, is as any animal of the world – something to be viewed for what is – an aberration of Generative Forces and Powers.

The life of the Soul is Unity under Divine Law. Unless the Soul obey the Law, it is not of God and must, therefore, diversify as the rational being of Man has diversified. This is the Secret of The Way. Within Cosolargy, these concepts are no longer mysteries. They are Truth.

Each week of the liturgical year, a reading from Second Advent Scripture is delivered as part of the Saturday Communion of Fellowship Service held in the Chapel of the Holy Child. This reading follows the Sacred Calendar of the Church; that is, Prophecies and Revelations that have been received by The Church on sacred dates are recalled in a liturgical context during the appropriate season each year. This reading is delivered just before the final blessings. Each service also includes a reading from the ancient scriptures, prayers, or wisdom sayings of various world religions past and present and is usually thematically related to the Second Advent Reading. This reading is delivered by the Reader right after the announcements that begin the service and is thus the first reading of the service. An audio recording of the reading from Second Advent Scripture delivered on the date above is provided here below together with a transcript of the first reading of the service that day.

ANCIENT SCRIPTURE AND WISDOM SAYINGS

A Reading from the Gospel of Thomas (83-87, 90-94, 96, 99-101, 110-111, 113):

(83) Jesus said, You see images but the light within them is hidden in the image of the father’s light. He will be disclosed, but his image is hidden by his light.
(84) …When you see your likeness you are happy. But when you see your images that came into being before you and that neither die nor become visible, how much will you bear!
(85) …Adam came from great power and wealth, but he was not worthy of you. Had he been worthy, he would not have tasted death.
(86) …Foxes have their dens and birds have their nests, but the human child has no place to lay his head and rest.
(87) …How miserable is the body that depends on a body, and how miserable is the soul that depends on both.(90) Jesus said, Come to me, for my yoke is easy and my mastery gentle, and you will find rest for yourselves.

(91) They said to him, Tell us who you are so that we may believe in you. He said to them, You examine the face of heaven and earth but you have not come to know the one who is in your presence, and you do not know how to examine this moment.
(92) Jesus said, Seek and you will find….
(93) Do not give what is holy to dogs. They might thrown them on the manure pile. Do not throw pearls to swine. They might grind it to bits.
(94) …One who seeks will find. For one who knocks it will be opened.

(96) Jesus said, The father’s kingdom is like a woman who took a little yeast , hid it in dough, and made large loaves of bread. Whoever has ears should hear.

(99) (His) students said to him, Your brothers and your mother are outside. He said to them, Those here who do the will of my father are my brothers and my mother. They will enter my father’s kingdom.
(100) They showed Jesus a gold coin and said to him, Caesar’s people demand taxes from us. He said to them, Give Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, give god the things that are god’s, and give me what is mine.
(101) Those who do not (despise) their father and mother as I do cannot be my students, and those who do not love their father and mother as I do cannot be my students. For my mother brought me forth but my true mother gave me life.

(108) Whoever drinks from my mouth will become like me. I myself shall become that person, and the hidden things will be revealed to that one.

(110) …You who have found the world and become wealthy, renounce the world.
(111) The heavens and earth will roll up in your presence and you who live from the living one will not see death. Shame on the flesh that depends on the soul. Shame on the soul that depends on the flesh.

(113) His students said to him, When will the kingdom come? Jesus said, It will not come because you are watching for it. No one will announce, “Look, here it is.” or “Look, there it is.” The father’s kingdom is spread out upon the earth and people do not see it.

Armed with satellites and drones, archaeologists discover new Nasca lines and dozens of other enigmatic geoglyphs carved into the earth.

“More than a thousand of these geoglyphs (literally, “ground drawings”) sprawl across the sandy soil of the Nasca province.

“Now, Peruvian archaeologists armed with drones have discovered more than 50 new examples of these mysterious desert monuments in adjacent Palpa province, traced onto the earth’s surface in lines almost too fine to see with the human eye. In addition, archaeologists surveyed locally known geoglyphs with drones for the first time—mapping them in never-before-seen detail.”

Ancient Peruvians created geoglyphs like the Nasca lines by moving stones to define edges of the lines, and then scraping the top layer of earth between the edges to reveal lighter soil beneath.

Highest State

In talking about the highest state of spiritual development, we really have to think of two. There is the highest state that can be attained while still in a material body and living in as material world. There is an even higher state that can only be reached after shedding the physical body.

The level Mr. Hartmann refers to is rarely reached while still on the material plane. We can, however, get very close to it.

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

Last week, we were touching on how The Child, Jamil, was prophesied to come in ancient Indian sacred literature as the Brahman Cakravartin of the Vedas. He is also the Maitreya of Buddhism, the final Buddha to appear to reveal to all mankind the Superior Way of Enlightenment that would no longer remain secret, as had occurred in former times.

God, however, is the only Redeemer whose Image manifests as Light and whose Word manifests as The Law within that Light. The Child is but Revealer whose appearance in the world is a signal of God’s Second Coming. The Child’s rule is symbolic. The Way is not revealed by written laws, scripture, doctrine or even Revelation alone. It is by the Intervention of God manifest in the heavens as spiritual Light that The Law is revealed. One does not merely subscribe to the Way of the Law. It is not a belief system. It is a Way to be lived under God’s Light.

In keeping with the role of the Cakravartin, The Child’s appearance is a signal that the sun has been activated by The Law. Like a Great Heavenly Wheel, the Sun has started to revolve, turn and move on God’s Command. The world will not to be conquered by bloodshed, war or subjugation of armies in a “holy” cause but by the Redeeming Light of God’s All Conquering Sun as Lord of Spirit.

The Enlightened Child appeared in the world to announce the Wheel of the Law as Truth and Power. His appearance among the living was a sign that the Sun is now spinning. The Order that he founded and established – the Order of the Holy Child of which we are a part – is to perpetuate the solar movement by performing revealed sacred rites, techniques and liturgy. The Wheel of the Law is the weapon of righteousness employed first by The Child and then by the members of the Order as a source of Power to be used for Good on Earth. Without The Child’s appearance and the establishment of the Jamilian Order, the world would be at the mercy of Dark Powers and Beings.

The Child and the Order act as intermediaries on behalf of Man before the Creative Powers of God abiding in the Sun of Spirit. Common, unenlightened man and woman, ruled by animal and psychic instincts and influences, cannot reach the Sun of Spirit which is not contaminated by the corruption of the world. In the Final Age of the Earth, the Superior and Higher Way makes spiritual enlightenment of the True Way possible. If man and woman do not follow The Way in this life, they will be incapable of following it after death. Therefore, we, the enlightened members of this Order, subject ourselves to God’s Redeeming Power of The Way and take oaths to instruct the peoples of the globe in order to offer them freedom from bondage.

The Way of Salvation is realized by living The Way revealed by God in the Great Day of the Sun’s Turning which results in rebirth of Spirit; that is, the awakening of the True Self.

A Reading from the Writings of Isaiah:

Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

For behold, the darkness will cover the earth, and gross darkness the people, but the Lord will are upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.

And the nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Pride and Hubris

Sometimes we have good reason to be proud of our accomplishments. For most of us, however, those accomplishments pale when faced with the realities of the spiritual world and the true purpose of Man. Winning a baseball championship, a spelling bee, or even an elected office may puff us up with pride, but such things are of no significance to God and His Great Plan. Those who think that God cares who won a football game are only fooling themselves. God doesn’t care who won the big game any more than he cares which necktie you wear today. Those who continue to think that such things as winning a ball game are matters of great importance are only filling themselves with Hubris, a false pride of accomplishment when the thing accomplished doesn’t matter. Most of us don’t realize this until, as Ms. Underwood says, we face our inner self while engaging in spiritual practices.

Sharp Radiance

Underhill is using metaphor when she talks of clouded contours and sharp radiance. But it is not by coincidence that so may spiritual writers equate materialism with darkness, shadows, or clouds, and enlightenment and truth with bright, white light.

Thanks to the modern science of quantum physics, we know that the material universe is actually a hologram. And a hologram must have a source of light. There must also be a reality from which the hologram is projected. That place of sharp radiance is the spiritual world.
