Gary Buchanan Speaks at 7th International Globe Sound Healing Conference

Gary Buchanan presents at Globe Sound Healing Conference in 2018

Follow this link to pages on the intention, presenters, exhibits, and workshops held at the 7th International Globe Sound Healing Conference: https://soundhealingcenter.com/conference/

Reverend Canon Gary Buchanan presented on Sunday, October 7th at the 7th International Globe Sound Healing Conference held October 6 – 8, 2018 at Temple Congregation Sherith in San Francisco. Reverend Buchanan presented primarily on Sonatherapy, but spoke a bit on Cosolargy and the Steamboat Healing Center and Spa as well.

Gary demonstrates the applicators with various sound frequencies on a member of the audience. About 50 people were in attendance.

There are two primary intentions of the sound healing conferences sponsored by the Globe Sound and Consciousness Institute:
(1) to raise consciousness and bring people into higher states of awareness more consistently by disseminating techniques and information and with experiential exercises to actually go into these states.
(2) to bring sound healing into mainstream homes and hospitals and gain more acceptance by helping the public to understand the science and effectiveness behind sound healing and by providing a venue for sound practitioners, the public and the medical community to meet and form connections and alliances.

The 7th International Globe Sound Healing Conference was held October 6 – 8, 2018 at Temple Congregation Sherith in San Francisco, one of the oldest Jewish synagogues in California. The Jewish congregation that built the synagogue was formed in 1850. The building was erected in 1904/05 and survived the great San Francisco earthquake and fire of 1906.

This year’s conference was held in Spectacular Temple Congregation Sherith – 2266 California Street, San Francisco

Solar power is the world’s most promising clean energy solution, but governments must abandon outdated policies for it to succeed.
BY VARUN SIVARAM

MARCH 1, 2018

“Solar power is in the middle of a breathtaking global surge. In 2017, countries around the world installed nearly 100 gigawatts — fifty Hoover Dams — worth of solar capacity. Investors poured over $160 billion into solar projects, more than any other electricity source, clean or dirty. And the price of solar power plunged to once-unthinkable lows around the world. In Mexico, Chile, and Saudi Arabia, the price of solar electricity fell to around 2 cents per kilowatt-hour, less than half that of power from coal or natural gas plants.

“Supportive government policies have helped encourage the boom in solar energy. Developed countries such as Germany footed the bill for the early scale-up of the solar industry in the 2000s. Then China lavished billions on its domestic solar producers, creating an unrivaled manufacturing industry, and set sky-high mandates for the deployment of solar panels, making it the world’s largest solar market today. It is tempting to continue with more of the same.

“That would be a grave mistake. Solar power is no longer a cottage industry, and the public policies that it will need to thrive over the coming decades are very different from those that kick-started its growth.”

“Goodwill Beats Hate, Fear, and Evil”

“You can only oppose successfully the hatred or evil thought of others by throwing out toward it the thought of good-will. Goodwill as a thought-element is more powerful than the thought of hate. It can turn it aside. The ‘shafts of malice,’ even in thought,are real things. They can and do hurt people on whom they are directed,and make them sick. The Christ precept, ‘Do good to them that hate you,’ is based on a scientific law. It means that thoughts are things, and that the thought of good can always overpower that of evil. … The fact that all thought, all emotion, all of what is called sentiment, or qualities such as mercy, patience, love, etc., are real elements as real as any we see, is the cornerstone to the scientific basis of religion.” ~Prentice Mulford

Thoughts are Things

“Like many others, even today, Prentice Mulford often confused the mind and the soul and spoke about them as if they were one. Nonetheless, there is much truth in what he has to say about many subjects including thought.

“He tells us that thoughts are things, as real as a tree or a hammer and capable of doing as much work, evil or good. He also reminds us that the carpenter does not push in the nail with another nail, but with a hammer. By that, I mean he reminds us that returning the same to those who broadcast hate, fear and evil is not the solution. Hating the hater is only creating more hate, not less. When water is too hot, you add cold water to it, not more hot.

Goodwill

“It may be debatable whether or not goodwill is stronger than hate. In effect, however, it is. In most cases, a person who spreads goodwill is passionate about it, dedicated to it. The strength of her emotions give those thoughts great power.”

WEEKLY MESSAGE: October 26, 2018

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

October 26, 2018

And here are some of the Mysteries of Illumination, as recorded in the Prophecy to the Races of Man:

1. Man must accept the Presence of God’s Spirit in the Light of the Sun which revives the Spirit and gives life to the Soul;

2. Man must accept that God’s Word in the Light of the Sun gives to Man a divine Knowledge of heavenly things;

3. Man must accept that God’s Messianic Sun is the redeemer and savior of Man;

4. Man must accept that The Community is under a special grace that, like the Sun, is of a Light nature filled with the Word of God that illuminates the Spirit;

5. Man must accept that the Messianic Sun can only be perpetuated by the Word of Man reflected to the Word of God in fellowship;

6. Man must accept that this new religion of Light can bring about a new race of Man for a new creation on Earth.

So, here it is. Acceptance of these Mysteries is a consent of mind and Spirit which opens the Soul so that God’s Word can penetrate and illuminate one’s being. We do not gain our immortality and Christhood by the power of our mind or will or, for that matter, by any power on Earth. We attain it by our own free consent in alignment with the Power of God.

Everyone shines like a star for a time and then dims and crumbles into dust. While the light of our star is bright, we are proud, arrogant and stubborn, fixed in our ways. But, when death comes upon us, it is too late for any measures to be taken. Therefore, it is good that we learn from holy script and from holy men and women the proper path to God. But, as it has been written, everything has a time and season. It is the same for each us of, for nations, for races, for scripture and for religion.

It is for us to educate those on Earth that superstition, faith and belief in a god or a savior or a prophet or in scripture is not sufficient to save them from death. Participation in the divine Nature is a precise method known to the great and holy teachers of times past. The method is the proper use of God’s Light for the illumination of the Soul. By these means, we are born again into a new and higher personage of Light.

The goal of each should be immortality of mind and Soul. Immortality is a gift of God. But, it is not given to everyone. It must be gained in the prescribed manner, which is a divine Science and a divine Art of the highest order. It is the Art and Science of Illumination.

More, again, on this next week.

Once again, please feel free to ask me any questions by calling 775-786-7432 or emailing me at messages@cosolargy.org. I am always at your service.

Gene

October 20, 2018: Chapel Readings

Reverend Canon Robert Petrovich

Each week of the liturgical year, a reading from Second Advent Scripture is delivered as part of the Saturday Communion of Fellowship Service held in the Chapel of the Holy Child. This reading follows the Sacred Calendar of the Church; that is, Prophecies and Revelations that have been received by The Church on sacred dates are recalled in a liturgical context during the appropriate season each year. This reading is delivered just before the final blessings. Each service also includes a reading from the ancient scriptures, prayers, or wisdom sayings of various world religions past and present and is usually thematically related to the Second Advent Reading. This reading is delivered by the Reader right after the announcements that begin the service and is thus the first reading of the service. An audio recording of the reading from Second Advent Scripture delivered on the date above is provided here below together with a transcript of the first reading of the service that day.

SECOND ADVENT PROPHECY AND REVELATION

A Reading from the Prophecy to the Races of Man: Chapter 64, “The New Freedom” (pp. 413-415)

ANCIENT SCRIPTURE AND WISDOM SAYINGS

A Reading from the Sermons of Hermes Trismegistus:

[Hermes’ son said to him:] Father, instruct me of Regeneration, either by word of mouth or secretly; for I know not, O Trismegistus, of what Substance, or what Seed, or what Womb a man is thus born.
O Son, this wisdom is to be understood in silence, and the seed is the true Good.
Who sows it, O Father?
The Will of God, O Son.
And what manner of Man is he that is thus born?
Son, things of this kind are not taught, but are by God, when he pleases, brought to remembrance.
Then tell me this, who is the Author and Maker of Regeneration?
The Child of God, one Man by the Will of God.
Now, O Father, you have put me to silence forever, and all my former thoughts have quite left and forsaken me; for I see the greatness and shape of things here below and nothing but falsehood in them all.
O Son, hold your peace, and praise God in silence, and by that means the mercy of God will not cease, or be wanting to us. Therefore, rejoice, my Son, from henceforward, being purged by the powers of God, to the Knowledge of the Truth. For the revelation of God is come to us, and when that came, all ignorance was cast out.
Whoseoever therefore has of Mercy obtained this Generation, which is according to God, he, leaving all bodily sense, knows himself to consist of divine things, and he rejoices, being made by god stable and immutable.

“Upanishads and the Sun of Light and Life”

Prana is the sun; rayi is the moon.
Matter is solid, matter is subtle;
Rayi therefore is present everywhere.

“The sun gives light and life to all who live.
East and west, north and south,above, below,
It is the prana of the universe.

“The wise see the Lord of Love in the sun,
Rising in all its golden radiance
To give its warmth and life to all. …

“Those who observe outward forms of worship
Travel after death by the southern path,
The path of the ancestors and of rayi,
To the lunar world, and are born again.

“But for those who seek the Self through meditation,
Self-Discipline, wisdom, and faith in God
Travel after death by the northern path,
The path of prana, to the solar world,
Supreme refuge, beyond the reach of fear.” ~Prashna Upanishad

Sun Gives Light

“The sun does give light, and much more. Light, heat, any many other types of radiation come from the sun. Some of that radiation is beneficial, some isn’t. There is no doubt, however, that if the sun went out, all living beings on Earth would quickly die. Something people forget when they listen to the sellers of drugs and sunblock who tell us the sun is out to kill and we must protect ourselves. For thousands of years, intelligent people as well as spiritual ones have said otherwise. Yet now we have millions listening to the drug vendors who benefit from keeping them weak and ill.”
