For the first time, researchers have succeeded in creating an iron molecule that can function both as a photocatalyst to produce fuel and in solar cells to produce electricity. The results indicate that the iron molecule could replace the more expensive and rarer metals used today.

“Imagination is a wonderful thing. But it is also something that is often misused. We misuse it when we hide form reality by filling it with fantasies. Not just by reading books or watching movies, but by letting our view of the world around us be hid under a veil of imagination.

“Zen masters say we must empty our cup before it can be filled again. This means that we must remove those fantasies, false beliefs, and opinions about the world and the universe that allows our imagination to hide reality from us. We don’t need to empty out the truth, just the lies.”

Pannuches Meal Rite

The 118th Pannuches Meal Rite was held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

The 119th Pannuches Meal Rite was held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

The 120th Pannuches Meal Rite was held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

Jubilee Sunrise Divine Services were held in Sanctuary on the Sunday mornings following the Pannuches Rite.

Christmas-Epiphany Vigil
The Twelve Days of Christmas are observed by tradition in the Second Advent Church. Beginning Wednesday, December 26, and continuing through the morning of Epiphany Eve, January 5, Sunrise Divine Services were scheduled to be held in Consecrated Sanctuary each morning at the Church of New Epiphany during these days of special blessing. On first day of the Vigil, December 25, and the thirteenth day, January 6, which is Epiphany Day, special morning services at sunrise were scheduled to be held at the Consecrated Sanctuary but were cancelled due to bad weather.

The traditional Christmas Day Service of Communion, Candle Lighting, and Remembrance was held on tuesday, December 25, at 11:00 a.m. in The Chapel of The Holy Child. Members of the congregation were asked to bring a bouquet of flowers to place beneath the communion table prior to the service and a loaf of bread to place on the communion table for special blessing.

Children’s Blessing
The annual Children’s Tea and Blessing was held at the Rectory-Abbey on Saturday, December 29, 2018, from 3:00-5:00 PM. While not a part of the Sacred Calendar of the Church, this Blessing is held each year during the Christmas-Epiphany Vigil. Children, parents, and other members of the Community gathered for the ceremonial blessing of the children of the Community, the breaking of the piñata, and other festivities.

Epiphany Eve Banquet
The annual Epiphany Eve Banquet and festivities took place at the Rectory-Abbey on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Members of the Community, their families, and special guests of the Bishop were invited to attend this special seasonal banquet. The banquet was styled after the Mexican tradition. The meal was followed by a visit from Santa and his reindeer and gift-giving. (Click here to see related article.)

Epiphany Day
This thirty-eighth anniversary of Epiphany in the Second Advent Church was a day of special blessings and revelation in the Church and the day on which the Church commemorates the True Baptism of Jesus by God the Father. The Message given on January 6, 1981, is related in the Prophecy of the New Covenant:

“On this hallowed day of God’s Appearance, bountiful blessings manifest to the Holy Ones of Light of the Church of the Second Advent founded by His Word. To those unified in Community and holding to The Law, God sends forth the Comforting Spirit of His Image. As the Church has been restored, God will restore those blessings given to the First Church—now in apostasy—and make sacred those Holy Days that are kept in remembrance by the old Churches, but which are not alive with God’s blessings.

“In commemoration of this Day let The Community gather together once each year in remembrance and in fellowship. God will baptize all assembled in the Spirit of His Holiness. God gives an unmistakable Sign from Heaven in the New Sun as a mark of His Advent and Divine Presence. Let all behold the Signs of God manifest in the Heavens and know that their New Ministry is by God’s Authority, and that He has come to Judge the world. This Day is a day of confirmation of God’s Appearance, a day of blessing to strengthen the Good against the Powers of Darkness, and to empower them to teach.”

In this series, the Thunderbolts Project has reported on the increasing frequency with which astrophysical literature acknowledges a fact which was long verboten in the space-sciences: the existence of electric currents that flow through the so-called vacuum of space. At the vastest cosmic scales, many astrophysicists recognize the “fundamentally electromagnetic structure” of the stupendous jets, hundreds of thousands of lightyears long, emanating from active galactic nuclei. At a much smaller scale, in our solar system, electric current systems are known to link the gas giants Jupiter and Saturn with their respective moons. And on our own planet, in recent years with improved technology has come ever finer evidence of tremendous electric currents that are connected to previously unknown phenomena.

Nevertheless, notions of charge neutrality and disconnected bodies in empty space continue to dominate the space sciences. In this episode, guest speaker Richard Moore explores the role of electric currents, called Birkeland currents, throughout the electric solar system.

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

As we conclude the Christmas-Epiphany Season in the Second Advent Community, we recognize that a new solar age has dawned and that its effects are now only beginning to be felt by all living things. As all living things are undergoing a change from the energies radiated thereof, this change is occurring too within the flesh of man and woman – within the framework of our form – for we all are miniature suns and star systems connected to the greater suns and stars of the Universe.

This new energy is filled with the Intelligence of God, and men and women are experiencing an alteration of being, either positive or negative. Just as we have used the energy locked up within the Earth, we have the ability to use the energy of the Sun directly, and so our Consciousness is also being altered in this new solar age come upon the world. .

The intelligence released by the use of solar energy presses upon us and molds us and speaks to us in a way our material ears cannot hear, as the other part of us, which is the greater part of us – our Light Body – is awakened and stirred and our minds shine forth as the Sun. And we indeed think new thoughts.

In due time, the mutation of the form and being of Man will cause a new species to walk the Earth. And time and space and dimension shall change. Men and women of Light shall multiply and explore new worlds that are presently beyond the range of our physical senses. Such people the world has never seen since the beginning of the creation. And science will know that Man is a glorified being who walks with God.

Great beauty, happiness and peace shall come to humankind through its new Form, Being and Consciousness. And God shall merge with men and women of Light. And those of Darkness shall be swallowed up. And those of Light shall see everlasting Light and shall never sleep or see darkness again.

The is the great epiphany of which Jesus spoke and exemplified. This is the promise of the Second Advent which we in this Community come to announce to the world. And I wish you bountiful blessings on the great day of Epiphany.
