“Sunlight: Renewing Our Relationship with Old Sol”

The darkest hour is always just before the dawn and sometimes we wallow in the gloom of our slumbering state, only to be jolted back into life when struck by the Light. In my case it was after a long run of misfortune, a time when the light of day seemed barely perceptible, when I staggered out of my tunnel of despair and into the Sun. To some people who know me it seems odd that a pale skinned indoor type like myself could come to form such a strong bond with the Sun, but when that solar orb reaches out to you from the sky and grabs you, embraces and enchants you, then you know your life has just taken a quantum leap and there’s no going back.

It’s strange how so many people these days have come to be afraid of the Sun. Only two generations ago, our beaches in the summertime were jam-packed with Sun-worshippers, all competing for the best tan. Now the warnings from authorities have scared the heck out of the general population, to the point where we have a generation deficient in vitamin D. What ever happened to ‘all things in moderation?’ The Earth, like all the other planets in our solar system, was formed out of the Sun and we owe our very life to its warmth and light. The expression Mother Earth is often used and I like to also use the concept of our Father Sun. They really are our parents, astronomically speaking.

My initial attraction to our star came in the form of a new appreciation for brightness after a long period of emotional and mental darkness. Yet it was something more than just a metaphor. It felt like a long overdue return home. My interest was really piqued when meeting up with an old childhood friend who, I discovered, was practicing what is known as Sun gazing. The only time I had heard about this before was in reference to the ancient Egyptians, but he quickly armed me with videos and links to You Tube that demonstrated the modern-day resurgence of the practice.

Quantification

It is the general agreement between theory and observation that provides the foundation for quantification. Specialized inquiry can then test the rigor and precision of the qualitative argument with equations and numbers. In a successful test, the quantitative results will correlate well with predictions arising from the underlying theoretical assumptions; they will add logical strength and precision to the prior qualitative argument.

The concrete relationship of quantification to underlying fact has borne fruits in plasma physics, where qualitative extrapolations from laboratory findings have repeatedly anticipated observations in space and supported practical mathematical modeling.

In the case of the Sun, however, neither a qualitative nor a quantitative argument exists, since the dominant attributes of the Sun, now revealed to us in stunning detail, lie beyond the predictive ability of the theoretical assumptions. This sweeping failure of predictive ability removes the rationale for the more specialized assumptions, equations, and simulations offered in the name of solar physics today. The only way to overcome this spectacular deficiency would be to demonstrate a logical pathway of quantified analysis leading from the theoretical starting point to the major attributes of the Sun. After decades of trying, the promise of a quantified model was never fulfilled, not even in a limited sense. No direct line of reasoning from the assumed nuclear furnace to even one enigmatic attribute of the Sun can be substantiated. And so the specialized debates go on and on, guided by the dogmatic certainty that an acceptable answer must be available. After 60 years and billions of dollars spent exploring the Sun, no peer-reviewed article has yet questioned the fusion model.

“Meeting Our Global Energy Needs”

In the absence of successful tests of a hypothesis it is a grave mistake to pretend that issues are settled. Nevertheless, with the support of popular media, a guess about the “nuclear core” of the Sun led to a leap of faith. Limitless energy should be available to humanity by controlling a fusion process—”just like the controlled fusion in the center of the sun.”

The cost of this exuberance may never be accurately calculated. Globally, governments poured billions upon billions of dollars into research, seeking to replicate the imagined events hidden inside the Sun. From the 1950s onward it was an easy sell. But the only fusion the experiments provoked lasted a second or so— typically much less than a second—and never produced as much energy as was pumped into the experiments. In physics, that’s the definition of an unworkable idea—and it’s very likely the most expensive failure of theory the world has ever witnessed. [16]

“Spiritual Dimensions of Beauty and Happiness”

“Please have mercy on us, generous ruler. The messenger of the father heals souls, draws joy in all of us, and carries away sorrow. Lofty and limitless, where darkness never comes, all the monasteries and the dwelling places are great in beauty, for they are happy in the light and know no pain. Those who enter remain forever. No blow or torture ever reaches them. The clothing they wear no one made by hand. They shine with light, and no ants crawl in them. The green wreathes on their heads never lose color. Their bodies are unfamiliar with dead weight and don’t droop. Their limbs are not paralyzed. Heavy sleep never overtakes their souls, and deceptive dreams and delusions are unknown among them. In that land hunger and anguish are not known. There is no thirst. The waters of all its lakes give out a wondrous fragrance everywhere. No one knows floods and drowning. Their walk is quicker by far than lightning. In their bodies there is no sickness. The actions of all the dark powers leave them completely alone. Fear and horror do not live in those lands, nor does destruction. The trees don’t shake down their fruit. Decay is foreign to their fruit. Within and outdoors it is replete with brilliance, the gardens aromatic and no stray bricks or thorns. Those who ascend to those precincts and have knowledge will extol his manifestation.” ~Parthian Songs

Heals Souls

While it is not an unreasonable thing to say that the messenger of God heals souls, I think it is more accurate to say that he awakens souls. That is to say, he helps us awaken our own souls when we are ready to do so. If we are not ready, to try teaching us how would be a pointless waste of time.

The soul cannot be injured. It cannot be diseased. But it can be dormant and is when we are born into the material world. Why is uncertain, but probably because being sent spiraling down into matter is a traumatic experience. The soul is protected from too much trauma by being in a dormant state, similar to a coma when we fall to Earth.

Joy and Sorrow

The messenger does bring us joy and alleviate sorrow. Those are things of the mind, however, not the soul. By giving us hope, hope in a future world, our sorrow is relieved. By letting us glimpse the truth of the afterlife, we are given joy. Those glimpses often reach only the subconscious mind, yet that is enough to have an effect.

WEEKLY MESSAGE: October 16, 2019

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

October 16, 2019

We continue this week with the Commentary attached to The Tenth Saying of Jamil.

“And the First Mariner spoke again saying: ‘Then the baptism of fire is not the shedding of the flesh which takes place at the end of a lifetime?’ And turning to the seaman, The Man answered saying, ‘The baptism of fire is likened unto the baptism of water by which you are received into an orthodox church. A minister or priest will pour water upon your head and give you a special blessing. With that you are received into the church. In this Community you receive a baptism of fire, not of water, before you are received into the church.

“‘It is a natural thing that man’s body dies of old age. We as mortals will experience decaying and the wearing away of the body as a natural course of events. But our bodies will be consumed, as it were, by a fire at a certain time when God calls back the spirit. It is as if the spirit will have vacated the body. And the shedding of the flesh, like a cocoon, will take place when Man occupies the spiritual body. Of course, the spiritual Body is occupied prior to death. So it is as if Man exists in two worlds at the same time. The Light body does burn up the physical body. The Sun destroys the body. That is why we have death on this Earth. The Sun kills it through the fire of the energy. Because Man is regulated by the coming of light and the going of light, his life span is predetermined, like the seasons. A person’s life is but threescore and ten years as dictated by the Sun. If Man were to experience a change in which the days would grow longer, or if the Sun’s radiation were to change, Man could live as the ancients to hundreds of years of age. All is determined by the Sun.

“‘There is a spiritual Baptism when man and woman introduces the fire of the Sun into their body. The spiritual Light of the Sun of Righteousness conceives the Light body with a spiritual Consciousness. The Word of God incarnates in the flesh, bringing forth a new life. But we must learn to eat the fire of the Sun so we may pass through the Sun. In other words, one body is consumed before we are able to occupy the spiritual Light body and pass through the physical Sun into the spiritual Worlds of Light.’

“Then asked the First Mariner, ‘Is the baptism a symbolic consummation of the flesh?’ And The Man answered him saying, ‘The baptism of fire is not symbolic. The baptism of fire is a real baptism in which Man enters the fire of the Sun. He actually merges himself with this fire. He learns how to absorb the Sun. Some people look at the Sun a few minutes a day. In my own experience, in the early days, I looked at the Sun for many hours a day, up to twelve hours. My body was being consumed by fire. I became very light, that is, more transparent. This is why I had to control my intake of sunlight. Jamil was extremely transparent at times because his body was more akin to fire than to flesh. Had I not ceased from the long exposure I believe I would have been consumed by fire. We pioneer workers in this new Community must refrain from overexposure to the Sun. We remain behind in order to build the Church. This overexposure must be regulated wisely.

“‘Jamil passed out of the world by eating the Sun. I watched him do it. He no longer had any use for the body, the physical body. He had no interest in remaining on the planet. So he began to look at the Sun. He stopped eating food, and he left.

“‘And in the Community we have a special technique for those who wish to leave the Earth, at the time of their calling, by these same means, emulating the technique, or the method, used by Jamil when he passed out of the world. But this should come in later life when there is no need of the body. Eventually the body must be consumed by sunlight. You must burn up the body, so to speak, so that something greater can come into being. This is the path taken by adepts of the Sun.

“‘There was an old saying among the Aztecs that Quetzalcoatl’s priests looked at the Sun until they lost their physical vision so they might bring into being spiritual Vision. Now, we know that the Yogins of the Himalayas did the same thing. This is not what we are trying to accomplish in the Community. Ours is a spiritual unfoldment with the aging of the physical body. You will all find after you have taken the Sun for a number of years that you will become extremely sensitive to the Sun, and you will find that when you are ready to leave this planet, you will be able to consume a tremendous amount of light and leave, almost at your own will. We of this Community have the advantage of working with the Sun of Righteousness which was not available to the ancients. Our path is a more noble one.’”

We will, of course, continue with the Tenth Saying commentaries next week and in the weeks to follow. In the meantime, you will be receiving a personal letter from me very soon. The letter, which is self-explanatory, has to do with an important project we have undertaken, and which I ask for your and everyone’s support in. Please give it your utmost consideration. Thank you.

Once again, if I may be of any personal service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Very truly yours in Light+,

“Portal of the Sky Opens to the Spiritual”

“Ferry Me to the Sun Take me, firstborn. The path of light spreads before me from my own first city. I look for someone. The dissolving image of the savior comes to me. O first one, the light of the virgin touches me, the brightest picture of truth with her three angels who give grace. Firstborn, the portals of the sky fly open before me in the rays of my savior and his portrait of light. I left my garment on the earth. Senile diseases were mine. I dress in the deathless robe. Ferry me to the sun and the moon. Ferry of light at peace over three earths. Firstborn, I am a holy bride in her chamber of light, resting. I keep my victory gift. …

“O soul, sleeping. You who sleep, you who doze, wake. Sun rises on you. … The good man has come Jewel garland, you. Wandering sheep, your shepherd seeks you. Noble and despised, your king wants you. Where are your angelic cloths, robes that don’t age? Where are your cheerful wreathes and crowns that don’t fall? The clay mold of your kin, your father’s seal? When you were saved, your first jewel, your mind was collected, familiar, unfailing to you. How many of your blood has the world . . . for you? The humble you have loved and the great you have humbled. You were not yet ashamed. ” ~The Manichaean Song Book

Take Me to The Sun

Why would the singer ask Christ to carry him to the sun? Is he planning to fly in a spaceship? Is he trying to get burned up by the heat of the sun? No, that’s not what he wants. He wants the Christ Force within him to link him to the spiritual sun, not the physical one. It is the spiritual sun that awakens the dormant spirit and soul. The spiritual sun links the physical realm to the spiritual.

The path of light does spread before you when you turn to the spiritual sun. Part of what that sun does is show you the path. The one true path for a real spiritual awakening. There are many detours, many winding roads that can be followed forever, but only one direct path to the Light.

WEEKLY MESSAGE: October 9, 2019

HEAD OVERSEER’S WEEKLY MESSAGE

October 9, 2019

And these are the words of the Tenth Saying:

“In order to attain Heaven, Man must pass through fire. He must-needs burn away his flesh and blood. From out of the ashes will emerge a new body of Light. Thus, the religion that I would teach is one of Light, wherein dwells the Word of God. To teach men and women knowledge of the true nature of Light, and of Heaven, and of God, and of everlasting life, in a world they know not, is of all things most difficult; for men and women are by nature mortal, born of the Earth, heirs to death. To understand that they are of divine origin, a son or daughter of God, requires a baptism of fire and a new dedication. By these means Man takes the first step in the long, difficult journey back to the Godhead.

“Man must-needs be reborn of Light, regenerated, recreated, by the hands of God. It is as if he experiences a new birth, and having done so, takes wing in a celestial flight to Heaven. Once Man drinks fire from the Golden Chalice and is purified, he will turn from the Earth to the Sun. He becomes immortal, casting aside his mortality forever. Thus Man must experience two births – one of flesh, the other of Light. The first is one of water and of woman. The second is one of fire and of God. If Man would be born a second time, he must needs turn from the world to the way of Light, with all of his heart, and with all of his being. If he cannot do this, he cannot be born again, though he desire it above all things.”

“After a pause, one of the mariners, the first to speak, said: ‘Will the baptism of fire take place in the Temple of Light?’ And The Man answered saying, ‘The baptism of fire does not have to take place at any temple. The body is the temple and the tabernacle of God. Man need not be dependent upon temples to receive divine aid. God has sent the Sun of Righteousness into the world so that man and woman may gaze into the eye of God, and know the person of God who does not occupy any place in space or time. The baptism of fire takes place when a man or woman absorbs Light into the brain through the eyes. By these means, each experiences the heat of God within one’s being. The brain is illuminated, as is the mind, with the Light of God, which speaks to the consciousness that has been sleeping for an eternity. Through Light there takes place a baptism of fire. This baptism was promised by John the Baptist, for he said, “‘there comes one after me who will baptize thee of fire.’”

“‘The life of Jesus was terminated through his crucifixion. The Sun of Righteousness, which appeared at his coming also passed away at his crucifixion. Jamil, as a messenger of God, has revealed the appearance of the Sun of Righteousness, which now is in the heavens. It is a Messianic Sun, our redeeming Light. To gain entrance to the Godhead you must pass through this baptism, which begins in the physical sun.’“Then a Second Mariner said, ‘Then the baptism of fire begins with the application of solar techniques?’ And The Man answered saying: ‘The baptism of fire begins when a man or woman first looks at a sunrise or a sunset and begins to absorb the Light of God into the nervous system. There are two suns: the physical sun which has been burning in the heavens for millions of years, and the spiritual Sun of Righteousness wherein burns the Cross of Enlightenment. Man must pass through the fire that comes from the physical sun. This is why it is so important for a man or a woman to apply the techniques in Community and to have communion and fellowship with one
another. In this way they are able to look at the Sun in a beneficial way without harm. Ordinary people are not able to endure the transitions that take place from looking at the Sun because of the tremendous amount of energy that comes into the brain and the nervous system. This is what is meant by the baptism of fire.“‘The Sun generates all living things – moves the seeds to grow at different times of the year, regulates growth patterns and the seasons. Think what the Sun does to a person who introduces sunlight into the nervous system in the proper and prescribed manner. If plants photosynthesize sunlight, the same can be done by Man.But Man has forgotten how to accomplish these ends; his eyes have been focused on the Earth for too many centuries. To look at the Sun is most difficult for man. He naturally turns away from the brilliance. Yet it is through the fire of the physical Sun that man receives his baptism. You might recall from the New Testament writings that when Jesus was crucified on the cross the Sun was darkened. It was as if the new spiritual Sun died with him, or at least shortly following his death, because the teachings Jesus gave never survived him. They were too difficult for Man to accept. About the second or third century, Man created other teachings and formed the church, or the churches, that we know today, but they are not based on what he taught.”We will continue again next week. In the meantime, this Saturday, October 12, is the day we celebrate Human Spiritual Rights. If you haven’t read the Universal Proclamation of Human Spiritual Rights in a while, I suggest you do so now. You can link directly to the document at http://arrf.org/frame_proc.htm. (In the near future, the Proclamation will be fully incorporated into our new Cosolargy website.)
