“The sustainable cities made from mud”

Mud buildings are remarkably good at keeping us cool in summer and warm in winter, and withstanding extreme weather. In the search for more sustainable buildings, architects are returning to this overlooked, age-old construction material.

In Yemen’s ancient walled city of Sana’a mud skyscrapers soar high into the sky. The towering structures are built entirely out of rammed earth and decorated with striking geometric patterns. The earthen buildings blend into the nearby ochre-coloured mountains.

Sana’a’s mud architecture is so unique that the city has been recognised as a Unesco World Heritage site.

“As an outstanding example of a homogeneous architectural ensemble reflecting the spatial characteristics of the early years of Islam, the city in its landscape has an extraordinary artistic and pictorial quality,” Unesco writes in its description of Sana’a. “The buildings demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship in the use of local materials and techniques.”

Even though the buildings in Sana’a are thousands of years old, they remain “terribly contemporary”, says Salma Samar Damluji, co-founder of the Daw’an Mud Brick Architecture Foundation in Yemen and author of The Architecture of Yemen and its Reconstruction. The ancient structures are still inhabited today and most remain private residences.

The Eternal Idea and the Finite Manifestation

All the Christian Kabalists understood well the Eastern root idea: The active Power, the ‘Perpetual motion of the great Breath’ only awakens Cosmos at the dawn of every new period, setting it into motion by means of the two contrary forces, and thus causing it to become objective on the plane of illusion. In other words, that dual motion transfers Cosmos from the Eternal Idea into that of finite Manifestation, or from the Noumenal to the Phenomenal plane. Everything that is, was and will be, eternally IS, even the countless forms, which are finite and perishable only in their objective, not in their Ideal form. They existed as Ideas, in the Eternity, and when they pass away, will exist as reflections. Neither the form of Man, nor that of any animal, plant, or stone has ever been created only on this plane of ours. It expanded from the sublimated and supersensual essence into its grossest appearance. Therefore, our human form has existed in the Eternity as astral or ethereal prototypes; according to which models, the Spiritual Beings (or gods) whose duty it was to bring them into objective being and terrestrial life, evolved the protoplasmic forms of the finite Egos from their own essence.” ~H. P. Blavatsky

Perpetual Motion

The only motion that can truly be considered perpetual is the motion that happens on the spiritual level since only the spiritual is eternal. No matter how hard you try to make a physical object have perpetual movement, you can never be totally successful because the object itself will eventually decay or somehow be destroyed. So what Blavatsky is calling the “perpetual motion of the Great Breath” refers to the breath of God, which isn’t breath in the physical sense, but a spiritual kind of breath, namely the constant flow of Divine Light from God that gives life to everything spiritual.

Dawn of a New Period

Blavatsky says, quoting, I think from some ancient source, that this Perpetual breath only awakens the Cosmos at the dawn of a new Period. That is a vague way to put it since a period can be anything from a second to a billion years. Most spiritual writers would say “Ages” rather than “Periods” so people understand that we are dealing with a long period of time. In Cosolargy, we call these Ages “Suns”.

So what Blavatsky is saying is that the spiritual energy from the Breath of God changes the Cosmos at the beginning of each age. The breath of God, or Divine Light, is there always, but how much of it reaches us through the sun varies with each age. We are now fortunate enough to have the promised Sun of Righteousness shining down upon us as we are at the beginning of a new age.

Contrary Forces on the Plane of Illusion

The Plane of Illusion is the physical world where things are never quite what they appear to be. It is the level of duality, and therefore contrary (or opposite) forces such as hot and cold, male and female, light and dark, etc.

Everything Eternally Is

This is true only on a spiritual level. We all know that physical things change, decay, and die or rot away. I don’t know what point Blavatsky is trying to make by saying that everything “eternally is,” but to those who care only about the physical (or the phenomenal as Blavatsky calls it), nothing is eternal. The important thing to understand is that we humans have the unique ability to awaken our spiritual faculties while still living in physical form and uniting the physical, mental, and spiritual Self into one whole. Then, and only then, do we become truly immortal.

Existed as Ideas

It is also true that everything that God created existed first as ideas in God’s thought. Some say that God’s thought is all that really does exist. In any case, it is no different for other beings given the creative ability of God. The Demiurge could not have created the realm of matter without first forming the ideas mentally. Likewise, humans don’t create without first forming ideas in the mind. Most of us understand that, but what we don’t realize is that we create far more of the world around us than we usually think (though probably less than those who are fans of manifesting). Our thoughts, combined with the thoughts of all the other people on earth, are largely responsible for the environment we live in here. If we are sending out mostly thoughts of anger, greed, jealousy, etc. we will have a world that reflects that. If we learn to send out thoughts of peace, joy, harmony, etc., then we will get a world that reflects that. Let’s hope that happens soon.

The Twenty-third Saying (Part 9)

“And The Companion of The Way then said, ‘It seems after re-reading The Child Christ that you experienced at least three kinds of mystical experiences while you were in Peru. One, the “rapture” where you indicate you could not even move an eyelid or breathe – when you received the profound knowledge of your immortality. The second was the visions. And the third was the instant image of being face-to-face with the source so that no words, no gestures were necessary, just the presence-to-presence, face-to-face. These are clear-cut and at the same time developmental experiences that could be considered bench marks or stages of your progress. I say this because it brings to mind similarities in my childhood to yours. I spent the first years of my life in an orphanage. After my mother married my father, he left her while she was pregnant with me. She had no living relatives at the time, as her older sister died before I was born. When I left the orphanage, I felt totally alien to all my surroundings. In my feelings and emotions throughout my teen and formative years, I always felt out of place. I have always felt different from other people, and do to this day. And so, the thrust of my life went in a spiritual direction. This thrust was greatly accentuated by Papa Bray, an authentic Hawaiian Kahuna who was very instrumental in my achieving my own “rapture.” He knew, in fact, he told me, the date it would happen. And it did. Therefore, I can identify with what you are saying. And in my own life, I can attest to the truth of what you say, because to me it is very much the same.’

“Said The Man, ‘All the writings, the prophecies, the theology, the training, the teaching and the actual working in the Church – the doing – is what makes you remember, not so much who you are, but what you are, and that it is your destiny to be in this Church. And the first indication of this knowing is that you do not want to live without it. If we acknowledge that there is a charismatic power in the Sun of Righteousness, we have direct access to God through the Image and the Word of the Sun. If that Image and Word works on our Soul, which we know it does, then we experience the metanoia or charismatic action that is real. It is not something we read about, it is not speculative, it is not theoretical. And you all know the difference between theory and practice.

“‘For the most part, metaphysicians and Christians of the traditional churches work in theory. They say, “Jesus was a good man. He was the Son of God. We must be good. He was the peace maker. We follow after him.” And then they go about doing the opposite. They do that because of the need of the world; not because they want to, but because of their environment. If we acknowledge that there is good and evil in the world, we must acknowledge that we, as humans, are incapable of resisting Darkness, because it always seems to prevail. We suffer, we experience pain and loss, we become ill, we grow old, and we die. These are real and evil in origin because God did not create something to die. We require the assistance of God to overcome the Evil and Darkness in this world.

“‘The only means we have is from an outside source working on us from the realm of the sun, the sustainer of the world. Therefore, if we acknowledge that God does have a charismatic power, there is a metanoia in the power of Community. By working together, we enhance not only our access to that power, but our ability to use it. We cannot assimilate sunlight through photosynthesis like a plant that converts sunlight into chemical energy. It is fundamental law of the Church that in Community we are able to assimilate more intelligence from God, His Word, and more spiritual Light, by working actively in the Church because we are then participating in the most fundamental law of all: unity.'”

“Buddy James: Magnetohydrodynamics”

Magnetohydrodynamics is the branch of physics that studies behavior of electrically conducting fluids in the presence of magnetic fields.

Examples of such magneto fluids include plasmas, liquid metals, salt water, and electrolytes.

To understand the predictive analytics of the Dougherty set and how it applies to the Electric Universe Model of Cosmology, Interdisciplinary Geometer Buddy James illustrates ten real-world validations of magnetohydrodynamic currents, flows and patterns.

Human Spiritual Rights Day

The Twenty-third Saying (Part 8)

“And The Companion of The Way responded to these words by asking, ‘Is it through the shock of recognition and living The Way that one finally comes to the point of understanding of who one really is, not what one appears to be – as a pure Soul, a perfect being, an immortal one?’ And in reply, The Man said, ‘Let me answer this question by giving another illustration. I was adopted when I was three. I lost my natural father and my mother remarried, so I was adopted. And I was raised with half-brothers and with a stepfather who fed me, and took care of me, and did the best he could as a father. I loved my father very, very dearly, and my brothers, and my mother, of course. But my mother was the only person who really understood me. She had a kind of knowledge of me and gave me something that I needed that no one else in the world ever gave me, at least when I was a child. At the age of five, I started going to church and by six years of age, I was beginning to listen to sermons and get involved in theology.

“‘My stepfather did not go to church. My mother was the granddaughter of a Baptist minister, and her father eventually became religious and became active in the church; though in my own home there was no formal religion. But from the age of six on, I went to various churches: Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Pentecostal, and Catholic. I had an urge to enter the ministry – an urge to be spiritual, without knowing why.

“‘I was different from my brothers, and they never really understood me and my religious inclinations. Yet, I never understood the life that we led. Quite simply, I longed for the spiritual life even at that tender age. My mother’s sister influenced me greatly, for she was a Christian Scientist. But the motivation that drove me to worship was an inner compulsion, a driving force that no one understood, not even myself. I did not like school and formal education, not even in later years at business college and at university. Like in my earlier home life, there was no spiritual environment. Even the orthodox (traditional) church environment was empty, yet it was better than nothing. Still, I longed for a spiritual life of a kind and order not known in the world. No one could instruct me in it. No one was knowledgeable in it. No one I talked to – clergy, teacher, priest, scholar – had the vaguest idea of what I was seeking. I was an alien in a hostile environment – alone, lost, and empty.

“‘The same feeling continued as I got older. I never felt comfortable in the world or that I belonged in it. Though I continued to go to church, was baptized and planned on entering the ministry, I felt alien even to the Christian environment. Like so many, I became interested in Eastern teachings; but again, I felt like an alien. I only began to feel comfortable when I discovered the beauty of the ancient religions, such as Zoroastrianism and the ancient Egyptian teachings of Hermes Trismegistus. However, I did not become a great student of these religions, as I continued to be more inclined toward Christianity.

“‘Basically what I am trying to say is that with all my searching in the Christian Church and in the Eastern and Oriental religions, I never became comfortable with religion until I had experienced the visions, and then was able to endure the strong light of the sun. My eyes were no longer blind to the Light of Christ. The world was no longer Dark. For I saw within the light that illuminated the world a greater Light – the Light of God that illuminates the spirits of men, a Light more brilliant than the light of the stars and the moon and the sun combined. That efficacious Light put my heart and mind to rest. It taught me the meaning of religion in a flash – a rapture of spiritual joy. It instructed me in religion more than any rite or ritual, more than any book, more than any sermon. It was a living communion in which I was able to experience the Divine Presence of God. I was reborn! – made spiritual – yet I was without instruction – an innocent child, a neophyte awaiting maturity as eagerly as a babe.

“‘I found the source of Righteousness. I had found the place where God resides, not by my own motivation, but by the vision of Light and by the Presence within the Light. What clergyman, what biblical scholar had ever seen God face to face? God dwells in a place accessible only to those who are called to it by Him, it seems. And I knew that it was my destiny to serve God in the formation of this Church. I therefore awaited the birth of The Child from whom I would learn with trust, and hope, and belief. I gave up all my human motivations of self; that is, pursuit of my human destiny. It was my destiny to serve God within the framework of the Church to come. God would be my Teacher, and I would follow Him. My spiritual Eye had been opened, and it saw a realm of spiritual Beingness. Now that I had been led to it by revelation, I would devote my whole life to teaching it to others.

“‘Then I began to have recollections and remembrances. They did not all come at once; they came in stages. And as I had experiences and began teaching and moving about in the world, my remembrances increased by the act of working in the Church. Then, of course, when Jamil was teaching, just by looking at him, I knew many things. He had the flashing eyes and the touch. He did not have to say much – all he had to do was make a gesture with his hands or look at me with a flash, and I knew. I learned from him by his Presence, and by looking at the sun, and by recalling and putting things together. And after a while, I realized that although I was doing all the work, or so it appeared – writing, teaching, recording the words of Jamil, exploring and holding the Church together as best I could – and suffering, as it were, especially as people could not understand and were leaving – that there was a power over the Church that was outside of my control.’”

Again, if I may be of any personal service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Cosmology of the Spirit

Jesus said, “Come here so I can teach you what no person has ever seen, for there exists a great and boundless realm whose horizons not even a generation of angels has looked upon. And therein is the great invisible spirit, which no eye of an angel has ever seen, no thought of the heart has ever comprehended, and it was never called by any name.

“ Then a luminous cloud of light appeared. The spirit said, ‘Let an angel come into being and he will become my attendant.’ A great angel, the enlightened divine self-generated, emerged from the cloud. Because of him, four other angels came into existence from another cloud, and they became attendants for the angel, the self-generated angel, who said, Let Adamas come into being,’ and Adamas emerged into being.

“Adamas was in the first luminous cloud that no angel has ever seen among all those who are called ‘god.’ He was after the image and after the likeness of the angel. He made the incorruptible generation of Seth appear to the twelve luminaries, twenty-four of them. He made seventy-two luminaries appear in the incorruptible generation in accordance with the spirit’s will. Then the seventy-two luminaries”

“The worldly multitude of those immortals is called the cosmos—corruption, inviting decay—made by the father and the seventy-two luminaries who are with the self-generated and his seventy-two aeons. In the cosmos appeared the first human with his incorruptible powers. And the aeon who appeared with his generation, the aeon in whom are the cloud of knowledge” ~The gospel of Judas

A Great and Boundless Realm

The Great and Boundless Realm is the Realm of spirit. It is boundless because it exists outside of the limits of space and time. It has no size, no beginning and no end. It is great because, in that realm, there is no death, no disease, no old age, and no suffering. It is the place the soul yearns for and seeks to return to once it is awakened. It is not possible for the mind to know this realm except in vague generalities. It can be truly known only by the soul. I think Judas is wrong, however, in saying that no angel has looked upon this realm.

Adamas in the First Luminous Cloud

Adam as the symbolic representation of the first human was created in the First Luminous Cloud” which is the realm of spirit. Adam was created in that realm, therefore Adam was spirit, not matter. It was only after the Great Fall of Adam and Eve into the lesser realm of matter that Adam and Eve took on physical forms.

Adam in the Cosmos

Adam started as a Spirit living in the spiritual world. He “fell” to the material world after he and Eve ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, which is to say that he ate material food and material light. As spirits, Adam and Eve were immortal. After they became physical, they became mortal. The physical can never be immortal. But they still had a soul that is immortal, however, it is necessary to awaken the soul and develop it while still in the physical world if we are to enjoy immortality in the next world.

“Ghada Chehade: Criteria for a New Model of Cosmology”

Given the current crisis in the Standard Model of Cosmology—plagued by mounting anomalies and contradictions this model cannot resolve—many scientists find it is no longer a reliable guide to problem-solving.

These scientists believe the Standard Model will eventually will be replaced by a different model speaking a fundamentally different language—making the old and new models irreconcilable and incompatible—which means that they cannot coexist.

Ghada Chehade, PhD, an accredited discourse analyst, establishes the criteria—using Thomas Kuhn’s paradigm shift cycle—for a new model of cosmology, and explores some alternatives to see if they meet this criteria.
